For MTT enthusiasts, Sundays mean major poker showdowns. And this past Sunday lived up to every bit of that anticipation. A cascade of tournaments was underway, creating a perfect storm for poker aficionados.

PokerBaazi’s ₹6-plus Crores GTD 1000X Series concluded, crowning its last five champions. In the meantime, Spartan Poker’s 25 Crores GTD Legend Poker Series rolled out eight electrifying events. Not to be left out, PokerT20’s €1 Million GTD Stretching Summer Series continued as planned. Elevating the day’s adrenaline, PokerBaazi launches its ₹2 Crores GTD Indian Micro Poker Series with eight vibrant tournaments.

From this tumultuous evening of poker, Aniket Waghmare emerged as the biggest winner. Known as the first-ever IOPC Mastermind, Waghmare’s achievement for the night was a staggering ₹22.48 Lakhs. His crowning moment was clinching the Legend #24 Esteem title on Spartan Poker, where on the second day, with two stacks in hand, he pocketed ₹21.54 Lakhs (₹21.72 Lakhs from two stacks). This victory came after a heads-up deal with the legendary Aditya Agarwal.

Not far behind, Aditya Agarwal, widely regarded as one of the country’s most accomplished poker players, amassed ₹20.91 Lakhs in winnings. In addition to securing the runner-up position and ₹19.60 Lakhs, Agarwal cashed in three more times in the Legend #24 Esteem, accumulating a total of ₹20.23 Lakhs and making significant strides in the Player of the Year standings.

Mithun Mahesh displayed equal brilliance, cashing in three times in the Legend #24 Esteem and walking away ₹13.79 Lakhs richer.

Shagun Jain, the recent 1000X#24 Friday Prime winner, delivered an outstanding performance in Spartan Poker’s Legend Poker Series, winning two titles and raking in over ₹13.70 Lakhs with multiple other cash finishes. Jain began by winning Legend #18 for ₹3.17 Lakhs and then triumphed in Legend #22 Sunday Magnate High Roller (6 Max), securing a whopping ₹10.35 Lakhs. Over on PokerBaazi, ‘Jaggyboy13′ stole the spotlight with a resounding victory in the 1000X#32 Main Event, pocketing a personal-best ₹13.20 Lakhs. Mahesh Shyamsundar secured the runner-up spot with ₹8.10 Lakhs, adding to ₹10.36 Lakhs in total winnings.

Bubna’s highlight was emerging as the 42nd The MoneyMaker champion, earning ₹9.50 Lakhs after striking a three-way deal with Sonu Shejpal (2nd for ₹6.93 Lakhs) and Animesh Thakur (3rd for ₹6.60 Lakhs).

Satyam Verma triumphed in Spartan Poker’s Legend #21 Sunday Showdown, earning ₹7.61 Lakhs (won ₹8.10 Lakhs overall) following a heads-up deal with Vishal Bajaj (2nd for ₹7.61 Lakhs).

Bajaj’s performance was even more commendable as he secured another runner-up finish in Adda52’s Millions for ₹5.14 Lakhs, amassing a whopping ₹18 Lakhs in Sunday’s winnings. Bajaj’s remarkable Sunday session propelled him to the #3 spot among the day’s top scorers and got him the same position in the Player of the Year standings.

The other notable Legend Poker Series Sunday champions include Young Gun Karan Radia (Won Legend #23 PKO for ₹4.45 Lakhs), Aditya Kulkarni (Won Legend #20 for ₹1.16 Lakhs), Shiven Meena (Won Legend #17 for ₹45,851) and Prince Poddar (Won Legend #19 PLO4 Deepstack for ₹42,876).
