In the absence of any MTT series, the action yesterday was not as electrifying as the last few Sundays. However, even without any eight-figure guaranteed tournaments running, there was still plenty of value to go around. The busy season will return in a few days as Spartan Poker’s Millionaire Series 5.0 and PokerStars India’s Galactic Series kick off on September 1.

PokerGuru Ambassadors have been a dominating force across offline and online tournaments in recent months. This Sunday, it was Arjanveer Singh Chadha who dominated the spotlight. The Chandigarh-based pro championed Adda52 Big Game for a whopping ₹13.97 Lakhs, following a three-way with Vikas Awal (2nd for ₹11.06 Lakhs) and ‘booster’ (3rd for ₹9.65 Lakhs). Chadha locked in ₹16.23 Lakhs in Sunday winnings across five deep runs, toppling Young Gun Arsh Grover from the #3 position in the annual leaderboard rankings.

Spartan Poker user ‘$hitreg’ was the last player standing in the Sunday Superstack and won the title for ₹6.81 Lakhs. ‘Shinu22’ finished runner-up for ₹4.59 Lakhs.

Last week`s Godfather winner Dhinesh Kumar boosted his bankroll by ₹5.93 Lakhs from six deep runs, including a third-place finish in the Sunday Superstack worth ₹3.23 Lakhs.

Sathish Ananth picked up his maiden title of the year in Spartan Poker’s Deepstack Turbo for ₹2.60 Lakhs. He outmaneuvered PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik Ved (2nd for ₹1.75 Lakhs) in the heads-up battle. Ved walked away with ₹2.40 Lakhs in Sunday winnings from three ITM finishes.

Vikas Yadav took down PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for a site-best ₹5.44 Lakhs, while Nitin Rawat came second for ₹3.82 Lakhs. Yadav rounded out his Sunday run with ₹5.47 Lakhs in total winnings.

Ram Kakkar was another standout winner and added at least ₹3.69 Lakhs last night. He nailed PokerStars India’s Sunday Special PKO (₹2.78 Lakhs) and FT-ed PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack (7th for ₹91,008).

Chess prodigy Ishita Arora sattied her way to victory in PokerStars India`s Sunday Highroller, netting a site-best ₹2.13 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Mahesh Shyamsundar (2nd for ₹2.20 Lakhs). The latter posted another four ITM finishes yesterday, filling in ₹2.86 Lakhs overall.

Tanmay Hazra dominated the Sunday marquees on Pocket52, shipping the two biggest tournaments on the schedule, Pocket Kings (₹1.05 Lakhs) and Pocket Knights (₹46,000), to boost his poker bankroll by ₹1.51 Lakhs!

PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh, Yash Chitre, Allen Romeo, Vishal Yadav, Deep Banerjee, Paras Jain, Mukesh Surana, Mohit Savargaonkar, Kashish Sachdev, Amit Ayare, Ketan Sengar, Mohak Kapoor, Manish Jangid, and Rahul Sengar shipped the other Sunday marquees.
