A rainy weekend mirrored the thundering action on the virtual felts. As the APT India Online Series (PokerBaazi) and Nano Poker Series (Adda52) ended, the inaugural India Turbo Masters (Spartan Poker) kicked off, making for a hectic and very profitable weekend for many players.

Sunday`s biggest winner, unsurprisingly, came from the day’s biggest guaranteed event, i.e., PokerBaazi`s ₹1.50 Crores GTD APT#57 Main Event. Debapriya Manna sattied his way to victory, winning a career-best ₹18.55 Lakhs and the APT Trophy and Championship Ring.

Seasoned MTT pro Sahil Mahboobani took a serious shot at the APT Main Event title but fell one spot short, settling for a runner-up payout worth ₹14.59 Lakhs. He scored in three more events, bringing in ₹15.03 Lakhs in Sunday winnings.

Sunday marked the start of Spartan Poker’s inaugural India Turbo Masters, but the site also ran its massive ₹50 Lakhs GTD Sunday High Roller. The user ‘Craftplayer’ triumphed over the 97-player field to win the High Roller title for ₹12.04 Lakhs.

The IOPC JUNE 2022 – The Crown champion Saurabh Rohila has been on a run of a lifetime since last month. Rohila, who is ranked #4 in the annual leaderboard standings, made away with an incredible ₹11.91 Lakhs in Sunday winnings on the back of deep runs in Spartan Poker’s Sunday High Roller (3rd for ₹6.40 Lakhs), PokerBaazi’s APT#58 Megastack (1st for ₹3.16 Lakhs) and PokerStars India`s Sunday Highroller (3rd for ₹1.41 Lakhs). Spartan Poker rolled out an appetizing opening day schedule for its inaugural India Turbo Masters. The ₹50 Lakhs GTD ITM #6 Blizzard was the day`s featured event, and the multi-flight, single-day event roped in 871 entrants. Friday`s APT#42 Super Highroller champion Vikranth Varma was the last player standing and won ₹9.65 Lakhs after striking a three-way with “Onlastbuy-in” (2nd for 6.89 Lakhs) & Harsh Kumar Dembla (3rd for 6,87,121). Varma made another two deep runs last night, cashing almost ₹11.79 Lakhs, and stormed his way to the top of the July leaderboard rankings.

The IPC Megastacks Kickoff champion Mahesh Shyamsundar won the ITM #3 Sunday Supersonic for ₹6.48 Lakhs. He added ₹7.12 Lakhs in Sunday earnings on the back of four ITM finishes.

The veteran poker pro Shravan Chhabria championed Adda52 Millions for an impressive fourth time last night for ₹6.71 Lakhs.

The #2 ranked player of 2021, Manish Lakhotia, has been keeping a relatively low profile this year. But he made the Sunday headlines after taking down Adda52’s Nano Highroller for ₹2.82 Lakhs, outlasting Manik Kapoor (2nd for ₹2.07 Lakhs) heads-up.

Animesh Tripathi won the other trophy event on the last day of PokerBaazi`s biggest-ever APT Online India series, APT#56 Sunday Major, for ₹6.46 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with ‘Superkid7777’ (2nd for ₹6.50 Lakhs).

Vinayak Bajaj boosted his bankroll by ₹4.08 Lakhs on the back of five ITM finishes, which included shipping APT#54 Monsterstack for ₹3.15 Lakhs. He chopped the title with ‘gauravfrisky’ (2nd for ₹2.61 Lakhs).

Ashit Sharma was the last player standing in PokerStars India’s Sunday Special (On-time Rake Refund) and won the Sunday flagship for the second time for ₹2.98 Lakhs (₹3.39 Lakhs collectively across four ITM finishes). Vishnu Khandelwal locked in a runner-up payout worth ₹1.57 Lakhs.

Ankit Modi (Won APT#59 Afterparty for ₹2.10 Lakhs), Kamal Singh (Won APT#55 PLO-5 for ₹2.10 Lakhs), and Sreeprakaash Seetharaman (Won APT#53 (5-Max) Turbo for ₹1.42 Lakhs) won the other APT Online titles on the last day of the series.

Varun Meena (Won ITM #2 (6-Max) DST for ₹2.19 Lakhs), ‘CyberYogi’ (Won ITM #5 DST for ₹1.92 Lakhs), Young Gun Karan Radia (Won ITM #7 Turbo for ₹1.40 Lakhs), ‘oOgway’ (Won ITM #4 Hyper for ₹50,887), and Amarjeet Singh (Won ITM #1 Kickoff for ₹44,187) shipped the other India Turbo Masters titles on Day 1 of the series.

Pulkit Rathi took down MPL Poker’s Sunday Showstopper for ₹72,000, while Deepak Kumar finished runner-up for ₹48,750.
