The month ended in blockbuster fashion, with four players earning seven-figure scores on Sunday! With the lockdown persisting in many states across India, traffic on the virtual felts continues to spike, and the majority of the Sunday marquees comfortably sailed past their listed guarantees.

Offering the biggest guarantee as always was Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire. Across the last three Sundays, PokerGuru Ambassadors have won The Millionaire title each time, starting off with Kartik Ved (May 9), then Vivek Singh (May 16), and most recently Mithun Mahesh (May 23). For a change, the event saw well-known poker pro Deepak Bothra coming out on top to collect a whopping ₹20.29 Lakhs (from three ITM finishes). Up-and-coming player Akshay Kapoor came excruciatingly close to clinching his career-first Millionaire title but had to contend with a runner-up finish worth ₹10.63 Lakhs.

Online phenom Anirban D Das came close to snatching the title of the day’s biggest winner from Deepak Bothra. Das shipped the inaugural ₹70 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Colossus for a jaw-dropping ₹19.66 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador and last week’s top-scorer Mithun Mahesh finished runner-up for ₹14.55 Lakhs.

Aditya Singh (Won Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack for ₹9.40 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik Ved (Won Adda52’s Deepstack Madness for ₹5.05 Lakhs), Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra (Won PokerBaazi’s BSS#4 SuperStack for ₹5.02 Lakhs), Siddharth Pandey (Won Spartan Poker’s Money Heist for ₹2.23 Lakhs), Advait Rajguru (Won PokerBaazi’s BSS#3 6-Max MonsterStack for ₹1.82 Lakhs), Dhruv Balaram (Won PokerBaazi’s BSS#5 MegaStack for ₹1.68 Lakhs) and Gautam Kaul (Won Adda52’s Ship It for ₹1.15 Lakhs) were the other big Sunday winners!
