Even with a fragile ceasefire reportedly in place between India and Pakistan, the atmosphere across the nation remains tense, and the spectre of a broader conflict still looms large. However, while the geopolitical situation may be treading water, online poker action certainly isn’t hitting the brakes. If anything, Sunday brought a veritable firestorm of play across the virtual tables!

PokerBaazi, with its legendary ₹1 Crore GTD The MoneyMaker, is charging full steam ahead in its 31-day marathon run. The country’s longest-standing single-flight tournament offering an eight-figure guarantee continues to pull in massive turnouts night after night. Sunday was no different—the platform was buzzing as popular tournaments like the BSS Super Value, the (6-Max) BSS SPRINT, and the Daily Last Chance all easily cruised past their guarantees, even as some other major events recorded overlays.

And if that wasn`t enough, Junglee Poker’s ₹7.50 Crores GTD Poker Premier League (PPL) has shifted into high gear, adding some serious weight to the already packed Sunday grind. Over at Adda52, the familiar slate of Sunday regulars was bolstered by the much-anticipated Big Whale finale. And Natural8 India also kept things at full throttle with another action-packed day of its World Festival 2025, a series that`s already staking its claim as the biggest online poker festival ever run in the country. With all the major platforms surging ahead and delivering top-tier poker action, Sunday brought a genuine poker storm that has perfectly set the pace for what’s shaping up to be a blockbuster week ahead. Some of the biggest names in the Indian poker circuit certainly made headlines with truly trailblazing runs!

The undisputed Sunday MVP, though, was Ishaan Pandya. Since quietly entering the Natural8 India scene last March, he’s been steadily grinding away—but this past weekend, he shattered all expectations in the most spectacular fashion imaginable. Playing the Omaholic Mystery Bounty Festival 55, Pandya finished in 204th place amidst a colossal 9,205-entry field. Yet, thanks to the wildly unpredictable and exciting dynamics of mystery bounty tournaments, he walked away with a mind-blowing ₹22.25 Lakhs. An incredible ₹22 Lakhs of that came from mystery bounties alone! That’s more than 15 times his previous best score and, remarkably, only his third recorded cash on the platform, a result that saw him edge out several other very worthy winners for the day’s top earner spot!

Young Gun Aayush Arya also delivered a truly showstopping performance, shipping Adda52`s Big Whale, a victory that saw his account grow by ₹8.86 Lakhs—his biggest online score of the year so far. And his Sunday exploits were far from over; he nearly went the distance in the other major showstopper of the night, PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker 101.0, taking third place there for another handsome ₹7 Lakhs. This flurry of high scores took his total Sunday earnings past the ₹15.86 Lakhs mark and also saw him climb to #6 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY leaderboard. Right behind him in that Big Whale was a red-hot Pratik Manjrekar, who took second place for a ₹6.44 Lakhs payday—his best Adda52 score to date and his second-biggest cash of the year. With an additional deep run in the Sunday Big Slick, Manjrekar wrapped up his Sunday with his winnings exceeding ₹6.55 Lakhs, capping off a week of consistently strong finishes.

Puneet Dua, the often sporadic online grinder and SportsBaazi CIO, made a thunderous return to the spotlight by winning PokerBaazi’s #11 The MoneyMaker. That victory came with a personal-best online score of ₹15 Lakhs—his first flagship title of 2025 and his maiden championship bracelet on the platform. The veteran live circuit player had been on a relatively quiet run before turning up the heat during NPS India 2025, and this huge win certainly announces a strong resurgence. He added a side cash to wrap up his Sunday efforts with his total for the day reaching ₹15.11 Lakhs, finishing as the day’s third-highest scorer overall and getting a massive lift from what has been a prolonged downswing. The runner-up in that MoneyMaker, Ranvijay Singh, pulled off one of the most inspiring stories of the night. He converted a tiny ₹100 investment in step satellites into a life-altering ₹9.78 Lakhs payday – an incredible 9,780x return on his nominal outlay! With three more cashes on the day, Singh closed out his breakout Sunday with his total winnings going over ₹9.80 Lakhs—a massive leap forward for the low-stakes regular from UP.

Anurag Srivastava continued his almost unstoppable tear through the tournaments with a commanding victory in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack. He pocketed ₹7.50 Lakhs for his first title in this particular headliner and his fifth tournament win this month alone. Coming off taking down Adda52’s The Starlight on Saturday and a near-miss in #8 The MoneyMaker earlier in the week, Srivastava’s Sunday grind saw him running deep in four of the biggest flagships at Adda52, including a notable fifth-place finish in the Adda52 Millions, adding 1.50 Lakhs to his name. His total haul for the day soared to a staggering figure, just shy of 9.35 Lakhs, pushing his tracked online winnings past the ₹12.50 Crores point and moved him up to #11 in the overall 2025 POY standings. Hot on his heels in that BSS SuperStack was Nandan Pugalia. Coming off his win in Saturday’s Stack Attack, Pugalia maintained his own red-hot streak, albeit with a bittersweet pair of back-to-back runner-up finishes—he collected ₹5 Lakhs in the BSS SuperStack and then another ₹1.92 Lakhs in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty—which saw his day’s haul reach ₹7.19 Lakhs. With this, Pugalia climbed to #49 on PokerBaazi’s POY leaderboard, a strong statement from a player who is clearly in a fantastic groove.

Natural8 India had plenty more action beyond Ishaan Pandya’s headline-grabbing bounty hit:

  • Mohit Mehta enjoyed a fantastic Sunday grind, his account credited with ₹5.84 Lakhs from two deep runs—a runner-up finish in the Sunday Hypersonic 20 for ₹3.50 Lakhs and a 34th place in the Bounty Hunters Sunday Main Event 55 for ₹2.33 Lakhs.
  • Lakshya Dawra earned a personal-best ₹4.14 Lakhs on the site with a strong seventh-place finish in the Sunday Kickstarter 100.
  • Rituisthebest’ made a strong debut, picking up ₹3.23 Lakhs for finishing third in the Sunday Showdown 5.50.
  • Aniket Waghmare rounded out this list with ₹1.57 Lakhs for his 10th-place finish in the Sunday Kick-Off 125.

Ankit Bajaj bounced right back into the spotlight with a statement win in the Adda52 Millions, taking home ₹4.53 Lakhs after a heads-up deal and ending a month-long title drought in the process. He also added a 10th-place finish in the Mystery Bounty for another ₹64,668, pushing his day’s earnings to over ₹5.17 Lakhs and further strengthening his hold on the #3 spot in the 2025 POY race, a position that has several heavy hitters closing in on him. Close behind in that Adda52 Millions was Naresh Veeravalli, who came within striking distance of what would have been his fourth Adda52 Millions title. He settled for the runner-up payout of ₹4.12 Lakhs from the deal (his second near-miss in this Sunday staple) and wrapped up his Sunday with ₹4.22 Lakhs in total earnings!

Three-time POY Young Gun Gaurav Sood was another stalwart who extended his recent white-hot streak by taking down Adda52’s Mystery Bounty. His win was worth ₹3.54 Lakhs, a figure that included ₹1.27 Lakhs in mystery bounties. This was his 11th title of 2025—and his eighth on Adda52 alone—adding yet another accolade to an already remarkable season. With two more cashes added to his name for the night, Sood wrapped up his Sunday with his poker funds increased by ₹3.85 Lakhs, keeping his aspirations for an almost unfathomable fourth POY title very much in the conversation.

Over on PokerBaazi, ‘CheckIntheDark’ bagged the BSS Super Value title, a win that came with ₹3.91 Lakhs, while G.O.A.T. 3.0 runner-up ‘Ksc7’ followed close behind, taking second place for ₹2.35 Lakhs.

Capping off a loaded Sunday of poker, several other players achieved notable wins across various platforms. ‘Vabss’ took down the PPL Weekly Finale 2 on Junglee Poker for ₹2.30 Lakhs. Ambika Chowdhury pulled off an impressive double —winning PokerBaazi’s (6-Max) BSS SPRINT for ₹1.51 Lakhs and also Junglee Poker’s PPL Sunday Special Knockout Mini for ₹93,360. Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra, last week`s top scorer and the current May leaderboard frontrunner, kept his momentum going by winning Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick for ₹1.69 Lakhs. And Jigmee Bhutia topped the field in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for a ₹1.51 Lakhs prize.

Shout-outs are also in order for Sony Puthussery and Ganesh Durgade, who added Sunday titles to their growing resumes!

Here are the Sunday highlights!

May has lit a fire in the Indian online poker scene, and PokerBaazi has been right at the very centre of all that action, consistently churning out the day’s biggest headlines. At the heart of this undeniable buzz sits The MoneyMaker, the ₹1 Crore GTD daily behemoth that’s now synonymous with massive opportunity, fantastic value, and those unpredictably huge scores players dream about. Eleven chapters into this 31-day poker saga, the drama only seems to intensify, and Sunday’s #11 The MoneyMaker was another chaotic, high-value, and utterly unforgettable one!

A defining trend this month has been the generous overlays popping up across PokerBaazi’s biggest flagship tournaments, and Sunday brought that same theme right to the fore. While popular Baazi Super Sunday (BSS) majors like the BSS Super Value and the (6-Max) BSS SPRINT (along with the Daily Last Chance) all comfortably cleared their guarantees, the headlining attractions — The MoneyMaker and the BSS SuperStack — once again served up some juicy overlays. It’s precisely this consistent surplus of value that has made the platform’s nightly grind so irresistible to the entire poker community.

Entering a new chapter after hosting its centennial edition on Saturday – a landmark for India’s first and longest-running single-flight eight-figure guaranteed tournament –The MoneyMaker 101.0 drew a solid 1,059 entries (676 unique ). It again registered an overlay but notably averted a seven-figure shortfall, a scenario that was quite common throughout the first week of the month. This improvement is primarily thanks to the platform’s focus towards satellites, as these lower-tier satellites have effectively opened the gates for many low-to-mid-stakes grinders to jump into the big leagues. Nowhere was that more apparent than in the incredible stories that unfolded Sunday night.

Writing his name as the latest addition to The MoneyMaker hall of fame was the very familiar Puneet ‘neo1’ Dua. He powered his way to the top of this massive field after firing a determined six bullets and working through a marathon session lasting ten hours and four minutes to hit a new career-high. The inaugural BPT Main Event champion, Co-Founder, and CMO at SportsBaazi (Baazi Games’ Fantasy Sports division) isn’t your typical high-volume online grinder. This long-time circuit veteran from Delhi plays a more sporadic schedule, and yet when he does show up, it’s often with clear intent and impactful results.

Puneet Dua
Puneet Dua

Dua’s 2025 campaign had been relatively quiet until the NPS India 2025 swung around. Ahead of that mega series, he had posted four final table finishes. But during NPS itself, Dua went all in on volume, entering an impressive 171 events. He cashed in 78 of them and made four more final tables, even picking up a Silver Medal in the NPS#18 Marathon. After NPS wrapped up, he kept his momentum going with a podium finish in the BSS Kickoff and even took down a Turbo PKO title on the same day.

But his run in last night’s 7:30 PM showstopper finally gave him the breakout moment of his year. It was his first flagship title of 2025, his maiden championship bracelet on PokerBaazi, and a career-best ₹15 Lakhs score to top it all off in grand style. With another small cash grab in the BSS Super Value (45th for ₹11,208), Dua wrapped up his Sunday run with his accounts boosted by at least ₹15.11 Lakhs. This made him the day’s third-biggest scorer, just behind Ishaan Pandya (who hit a monster ₹22 Lakhs mystery bounty jackpot on Natural8 India) and last night’s Adda52 Big Whale champion (who also landed on the podium in The MoneyMaker), Young Gun Aayush Arya. This win also gives Dua a massive lift from what has been a prolonged downswing!

Puneet Dua’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹3.28 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2

The heads-up showdown for The MoneyMaker 101.0 bracelet was anything but a formality. Facing Dua was the relatively unknown small to mid-stakes regular Ranvijay ‘29dodo’ Singh, whose rise through the ranks on Sunday deserves its own spotlight. The backstory of how this UP-based player even entered the Sunday showstopper is a story in itself. He first took a shot at two ₹50 step satellites — an investment of just ₹100 in total. From one of those, he won a seat in a ₹690 satellite, eventually handing him a ticket into the ₹10K buy-in primetime event.

Singh made the absolute most of this incredible opportunity and put on an extraordinary performance from start to finish. Though he ultimately fell just short of the title, finishing as the runner-up to Dua, his ₹9.78 Lakhs payout was not only a personal best but represented a staggering 9,780x return on his initial nominal investment. It was the kind of run destined to inspire grinders playing at the lower stakes who dream of their career breakthroughs. Singh also managed to cash in three additional tournaments, which meant his Sunday grind resulted in total earnings of just over ₹9.80 Lakhs – a breakout night by all measures that gave his bankroll a very serious jolt.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s #11 The MoneyMaker for ₹9,78,000

> 37th in PokerBaazi’s BSS Boost for ₹1,237

> 36th in PokerBaazi’s Daily Sprint for ₹604

> 12th in PokerBaazi’s Deep Stack Turbo for ₹186

Ranvijay Singh’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹26.98 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹13.62 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #8

While Dua and Singh took the top two spots, the third-place finisher had an equally commanding and newsworthy story. WSOP bracelet winner Aayush ‘Learnnwin’ Arya has been on a tear since May began. The Delhi-based pro is basically poker royalty! He has been piling up results across multiple platforms recently, with notable finishes in PokerBaazi’s Blockbuster and Daily Last Chance and a near-miss in Friday’s The Quest Lite. But it wasn’t just PokerBaazi where Arya was firing on all cylinders. Over on Adda52, Arya also picked up a podium finish in The Ballers and finished sixth in Saturday’s Stack Attack just this past week.

Aayush Arya
Aayush Arya

Arya had an explosive Sunday, storming into the Big Whale finale on Adda52, where he made quick work of the 81 other contenders to win the weekend headliner for the first time, a victory that added a striking ₹8.86 Lakhs to his name. Just hours later, he nearly went back-to-back in PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker 101.0, falling two places shy of the glory in third place for another ₹7 Lakhs, having fired two bullets. With combined winnings soaring past a whopping ₹15.86 Lakhs across these two deep runs, Arya was Sunday’s second-highest scorer overall and jumped to #6 in PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY rankings.

Aayush Arya’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.40 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹3.76 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #7 | Annual Winnings: ₹82.24 Lakhs | Moves to #6 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

The MoneyMaker 101.0 final table featured a compelling mix of satellite success stories and seasoned pros. Satellite qualifier M ‘Bluffmaster055’ Jimmy finished fourth for ₹5.61 Lakhs, while PokerBaazi Team Pro Abhishek ‘singhsaab’ Goindi added another fine result to his name by finishing fifth for ₹4.44 Lakhs. Shravan ‘Enterthedragon’ Suresh locked up seventh place for ₹2.60 Lakhs, and Saurabh ‘Faiyaaz_Takkar’ Ramola picked up ₹1.87 Lakhs for finishing in eighth.

The top 20 finishers included other seasoned players, such as Pranav ‘ignito’ Kshirsagar (9th for ₹1.32 Laks), Thursday’s The MoneyMaker 98.0 finalist, OG ‘High-Stakes Crusher’ Ashish ‘OMG_spew’ Munot (10th for ₹1.32 Lakhs), young sensation Tanay ‘tanay0405’ Kauntia (11th for ₹1.32 Lakhs), Ashish ‘Notoriouskonvict’ Nailwal (13th for ₹83,000), last week’s Godfather finalist Siddharth ‘Siddonuts’ Pandey (14th for ₹83,000), Vignesh ‘Rajjni007’ Kumar (15th for ₹83,000), the in-form Young Gun Ashwin ‘Ashwinvijay99’ Vijayvergiya (16th for ₹83,000), EndBoss 4.0 champion Sanish ‘Sanish21’ Chhabra (17th for ₹83,000), Kumar ‘23offsuits’ Vatsal (18th for ₹83,000), and ‘High Roller Specialist’ Karan ‘collingwood’ Sitlani (20th for ₹60,000).

As has been the prevailing trend this entire month, The MoneyMaker 101.0 fell short of its guarantee, this time by ₹7.91 Lakhs (not counting rake). There has been a noticeably slow but steady improvement from the glaring seven-figure overlays that were a common sight in the first week of May, thanks mainly to the strong push by PokerBaazi to get more satellite qualifiers into the mix. With 161 players finishing in the money and the min-cash set at a healthy ₹17,000 – almost double the event’s ₹10K buy-in – the value on offer was undeniably excellent.

As we step deeper into May, 20 more editions of The MoneyMaker are still to come. Each one holds the promise of changing a player’s year — if not their entire poker career. With inspiring stories like Ranvijay Singh’s incredible satellite windfall and Puneet Dua’s hard-earned comeback victory, the Sunday grind on PokerBaazi is delivering moments that go well beyond just the prize money. The stakes are high, the narratives are rich, and if the past eleven days are any clue, the next few weeks promise even more poker fireworks before the WSOP frenzy sets in!

Final Table Results

BSS SuperStack – 50 Lakhs GTD

Buy-in – 5,750

Prize Pool – 50,00,000

If the MTT action on PokerBaazi wasn’t already producing enough heat, the second Sunday of May saw India’s leading online poker platform turn the burners up once again. It’s ongoing 1 Crore GTD The Money Maker frenzy, running daily for 31 straight days, continued its massive run, alongside the packed Baazi Super Sunday (BSS) lineup of flagship tournaments. Though headliner events like Sunday’s #11 The MoneyMaker and the 50 Lakhs GTD BSS SuperStack came up a bit short of their guarantees, other popular events like the BSS Super Value, the (6-Max) BSS SPRINT, and the ever-dependable Daily Last Chance comfortably went past theirs. This shows that overlays still mean serious value for players, and dedicated players rarely miss out on the action.

At the heart of this Sunday frenzy was none other than Anurag ‘Rebuy2survive’ Srivastava, who continued his commanding run in true top-predator style. This online poker powerhouse from Delhi had already been making deep appearances in major tournaments with uncanny consistency, and there seems to be no brakes in his unstoppable momentum. Just a day after taking down Adda52’s The Starlight, the seasoned pro entered the 7:30 PM BSS SuperStack with an undeniable hot hand — and walked away with the Sunday BSS headliner crown.

Anurag Srivastava
Anurag Srivastava

Facing down a loaded 964-entry field (534 unique), Srivastava put in the hard yards for over nine hours and 14 minutes. His efforts saw him capture his first-ever BSS SuperStack title and a hefty 7.50 Lakhs payday. This was his fifth win this month alone, and a remarkable 17th title for him in 2025.

A four-time NPS India 2025 medallist (with two Golds, a Silver, and a Bronze), Srivastava’s poker history is packed with big scores. From his breakthrough wins in Spartan Poker’s IOPC Millionaire Main Event and Destiny (2020) to his 2023 IOPC Friday Spotlight victory, he’s planted his flag on some of the biggest online tournaments in the country!

His 2025 story, however, is shaping up to be one for the ages. In April, he went on a rampage, hitting five final tables and converting five others into titles, and he’s only gained even more momentum this month. May began with a bang — a win in Adda52’s MMA Thunder PKO on May 1, followed by clean takedowns in PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite and Spartan Poker’s Supreme. On Thursday, he came agonizingly close to adding another career-defining title, finishing as the runner-up in #8 The MoneyMaker. Then, just this past weekend, he took down The Starlight on Saturday and conquered the BSS SuperStack last night, locking in back-to-back titles in two days.

But given how Srivastava has been running lately, his Sunday scorecard was far from complete with just one victory! He also ran deep in four of the biggest flagships at Adda52 last night, including a notable fifth-place finish in the Adda52 Millions, adding 1.50 Lakhs to his name. His total haul for the day soared to a staggering figure, just shy of 9.35 Lakhs, making him the fourth biggest winner of the day and helping him breach the phenomenal 12.50 Crores mark in tracked online winnings.

Now ranked #11 in the 2025 Player of the Year race, his Sunday assault has also pushed Srivastava to #16 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard. With his current momentum and blistering form, Srivastava isn’t just chasing titles — he might very well be making a serious run for that glittering 2025 POY crown.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for 7,50,000

> 5th in Adda52 Millions for 1,49,568

> 60th in Adda52’s Big Whale for 23,416

> 51st in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty for 6,316

> 29th in Adda52’s The Sundowner for 5,438

Anurag Srivastava’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: 12.50 Crores | Lifetime Profits: 4.28 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #17 | Annual Winnings: 1.24 Crores | Annual Profits: 65.98 Lakhs | Moves to #11 in the 2025 Leaderboard Standings (Total Cashes) | Moves to #16 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

Players riding insane heaters and making the Sunday headlines was undoubtedly a big theme of the night. Right behind Srivastava in the BSS SuperStack was Kolkata’s Nandan ‘Ragemonster’ Pugalia, who is also officially in scorching form. A day after clinching Adda52’s Stack Attack on Saturday night, the relentless grinder extended his hot streak straight into Sunday, racking up two runner-up finishes and two additional deep runs for a massive 7.19 Lakhs haul!

Nandan Pugalia
Nandan Pugalia

Pugalia’s 2025 campaign has been relentless. He began the year with back-to-back runner-up finishes in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance in January, and followed that up with wins in Junglee Poker’s Monday Monster and Adda52’s Friday Bounty. February brought another Daily Last Chance title, but then a frustrating cold streak followed—12 final tables, yet no title.

However, his NPS India 2025 performance was a masterclass in consistency and sheer volume. Pugalia played all 191 events, cashed in an incredible 120 of them, earned 25.62 Lakhs, reached five final tables, and bagged a Bronze Medal in NPS#154 Big Knockout (PKO). He finished #36 on the NPS Series Leaderboard with 25,260 points and earned an additional 75,000 leaderboard payout for his herculean grind.

April saw him break a two-month title drought by taking down Adda52’s Inception, and since then, he’s been persistently on the hunt for more trophies. That persistence paid off handsomely this past weekend. After his Saturday win in Adda52’s Stack Attack, Sunday further cemented Pugalia’s ongoing excellent form. He entered the stacked BSS SuperStack field twice, working through the competition to finish as the runner-up, pocketing 5 Lakhs. This also saw him climb to #49 on the PokerBaazi 2025 POY Leaderboard.

On the same night, he nearly clinched another title in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty, settling for another second-place finish and collecting 1.92 Lakhs (including 25,918 from five bounties). It was a bittersweet night with two very close calls, but the way he has been playing, he likely won’t have to wait long to add more trophies to his cabinet.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for 5,00,000

> 2nd in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty for 1,92,017* (25,918 in bounties)

> 72nd in Adda52’s Big Whale for 20,604

> 25th in Adda52’s The Sundowner for 6,168

Nandan Pugalia’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: 4.28 Crores | Lifetime Profits: 1.38 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #7 (across all platforms) | Annual Winnings: 80.72 Lakhs | Annual Profits: 22.71 Lakhs | Moves to #49 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

The BSS SuperStack final table was, predictably, stacked with familiar faces from the Indian poker scene. This included last Thursday’s Summit Lite champion & popular streamer Aniruddha ‘PocketacesAJ’ Joshi (3rd for 3.69 Lakhs), last week’s Adda52 Millions winner Rising Star Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh (4th for 2.86 Lakhs), recent The Mint runner-up Kritarth ‘AgentJack’ Pant (5th for 2.29 Lakhs), February’s The Big Show victor Keshav ‘MOTIMACHLI’ Todi (6th for 1.74 Lakhs), Karan ‘Enigma21’ Mohan (7th for 1.29 Lakhs), and January’s The Endeavour champion and this year’s NPS#80 Slamdunk Bronze Medallist Karan ‘Mahadevpoker’ Pantola (8th for 94,000).

And the weekend firepower and frenzy were on full display as the 5,750 buy-in BSS SuperStack recorded only a very minor 1.80 Lakhs overlay—less than a quarter of what this Sunday behemoth offered in added value just last week. With payouts flowing to the top 146 finishers, even a min-cash fetched 9,500, offering a healthy 1.65x return on investment and making for a profitable Sunday grind for many who jumped into the action. All said, it was another high-octane Sunday on India`s leading online poker platform, PERIOD!

Adda52 has kicked its tournament game into a higher gear since last month, and with some other platforms in the market still finding their feet after the GST regime changes, India’s longest-standing online poker site has firmly carved out its spot as a strong #2.

They’re dishing out some seriously value-packed offerings and guarantees that only PokerBaazi currently outpaces. And while overlays keep popping up, there’s a clear upward tick in daily player numbers on Adda52—a sure sign that the changes they’re making are resonating and the momentum is building!

Come Sunday, the event drawing all the attention was their weekend heavyweight – the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Big Whale. This beast of a tournament made its May debut under the bi-weekly schedule, and it lived up to its reputation as one of the country’s most demanding multi-flight MTTs, serving up plenty of twists and turns. Across five starting flights, the Big Whale clocked 713 entries (383 unique), which, while a bit thinner than usual, meant a juicy landslide overlay for those involved. A select 82 survivors carried their stacks into the 10 PM Day 2 finale on Sunday night, all already in the money but with their eyes locked on that hefty top prize.

And wouldn’t you know it, Young Gun Aayush ‘aayusharya’ Arya was the one who churned out another statement win, adding another prestigious title to his already jam-packed poker resume. Arya, a WSOP bracelet winner and the 2023 People’s Poker Championship finalist, keeps proving why he’s considered one of India’s sharpest tournament minds. Nicknamed (by us here at PokerGuru) the “Engineer of Odds,” Arya put on a display of keen precision, outmanoeuvring a stacked field to ship the Big Whale. His victory dance came with a lofty ₹8.86 Lakhs payday—his best online score for the year so far.

Aayush Arya
Aayush Arya

This win was Arya’s first outright tournament victory in nearly four weeks, following his stunning back-to-back wins in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show and Adda52’s The Mint last month. But Arya wasn’t just idle during that “drought.” In that relatively short period, he made an additional six final table appearances, including an incredible four just this past week: fifth in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance, third in Adda52’s The Ballers, a runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite, and sixth in Adda52’s Stack Attack. The consistency is just off the charts.

Arya’s Sunday heater didn’t stop with the Big Whale triumph. He came dangerously close to bagging a spectacular double title, which would have meant a clean sweep of the two biggest headliners of the night across the major platforms. He finished third in PokerBaazi’s ₹1 Crore GTD The MoneyMaker 101.0 much later in the session, an effort that added another ₹7 Lakhs to his Sunday winnings. That brought his total Sunday earnings to over ₹15.86 Lakhs, making him the day`s second-highest scorer just behind Ishaan Pandya, who banked a scorching ₹22.25 Lakhs from Natural8 India’s Omaholic Mystery Bounty Festival 55 (with a jaw-dropping ₹22 Lakhs of that coming from mystery bounties alone!).

This latest string of scores has also seen Arya jump to #6 in PokerBaazi’s 2025 Player of the Year rankings. The way he’s running, this poker beast from Delhi looks like a very serious contender to the early frontrunners in that year-long race.

> 1st in Adda52’s Big Whale for ₹8,86,363

> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s #11 The MoneyMaker for ₹7,00,000

Aayush Arya’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹9.40 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹3.76 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #7 | Annual Winnings: ₹82.24 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹49.47 Lakhs

While Arya was putting on a Sunday clinic, Pratik ‘manjer24’ Manjrekar was right there with him in the Big Whale, giving him a real fight for the title. Manjrekar, who snagged a Bronze Medal in the biggest-ever NPS#191 Main Event and was coming off final table appearances in last week’s PPL Tuesday Phoenix and PPL Friday Supernova, is clearly in a fantastic patch of form. He came close to what would have been a breakout victory on Adda52, but in the end, had to settle for second place in the Big Whale. That still meant a massive ₹6.44 Lakhs heading his way—his second-best score of 2025, third-best of his career, and most-rewarding ever cash on Adda52.

If that near-miss wasn`t enough, Manjrekar also made a deep run in Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick, finishing 11th for an additional ₹11,474, wrapping up his productive Sunday session with his winnings topping ₹6.55 Lakhs. His name has been consistently appearing on major final tables across platforms and high up on the leaderboards, underscoring his place among the most disciplined and dangerous grinders in the game right now.

> 2nd in Adda52’s Big Whale for ₹6,43,646

> 11th in Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick for ₹11,474

Pratik Manjrekar’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker and Natural8 India): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.22 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.22 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #4

The Big Whale final table was exactly what you’d expect – a shark tank swimming with some of India’s top poker talents, including last week’s Daily Last Chance winner Nikita ‘princesskitana’ Fernandes (3rd for ₹4.68 Lakhs), the tournament leaderboard legend and POY contender Mohak ‘sparkie’ Kapoor (4th for ₹3.40 Lakhs), the formidable ‘theinternetkid’ (anonymity requested) (5th for ₹2.45 Lakhs), last week’s The Endeavour Lite champ Bharat ‘rungooserun’ Vasan (6th for ₹1.80 Lakhs), the recent PPL Friday Supernova winner on a real heater Sahil ‘imhighishove’ Mahboobani (7th for ₹1.31 Lakhs), and the ever-present threat Debneil ‘NoobNeil’ Mukherjee (8th for ₹95,397).

Like the other Adda52 majors, the Big Whale, with its ₹5,750 buy-in, also saw a significant overlay. It missed its ₹50 Lakhs guarantee by a glaring ₹14.35 Lakhs, over a 28% shortfall. This translated into fantastic extra value for the players who made it deep. The top 82 finishers made money, with even a min-cash returning a generous ₹20,604 – nearly four times the initial buy-in. It was undoubtedly a profitable Sunday for many grinders on India’s longest-running online poker platform, and it looks like there’s no end in sight for the fantastic value and non-stop action in this familiar poker battleground!

While PokerBaazi’s big guns certainly lit up the Sunday night sky, Adda52 was no quiet corner of the poker universe. The platform was absolutely ablaze with action thanks to its power-packed Sunday lineup, headlined by the exciting Big Whale finale. And although every flagship tournament on the platform fell short of its guarantee, the value for players was undeniably real, and so, it has to be said, were the poker fireworks.

Among the names brilliantly illuminating the winner`s gallery was Ankit ‘imluckbox’ Bajaj—the online poker fiend who has been tenaciously holding down the #3 spot in the 2025 Player of the Year (POY) standings for ten consecutive weeks now. His ascent began after his life-altering ₹1 Crore mystery bounty score on Natural8 India in early March, placing him just behind the other POY frontrunners, Tarun Goyal and Anant Purohit.

Ankit Bajaj
Ankit Bajaj

Bajaj, who had turned many heads with that jaw-dropping bounty, also stirred up the action in April on Adda52 by winning the Godfather, making another The Ballers final table, and landing on the podium in the Mystery Bounty twice – a clear signal that he was finding his groove in the mystery bounty format. But after keeping a relatively low profile for the last few weeks, he roared back to top form on Sunday.

Bajaj finally broke his month-long title drought by shipping the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Millions—one of the site`s most prestigious Sunday fixtures. The ₹11,500 buy-in tournament attracted a competitive field of 208 entries (100 unique), and after a fierce grind at the tables, Bajaj came out on top. He bagged a cool ₹4.53 Lakhs after a heads-up deal, reclaiming the spotlight in undeniable style.

But Bajaj had other tables running and even made a deep run in his favourite mystery bounty format. He fell just outside the final table in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty, finishing in 10th place, a result that added ₹64,668 to his name (₹50,000 of that coming from bounties). This pushed his total Sunday earnings past ₹5.17 Lakhs.

The timing of this resurgence couldn’t have been better—with heavy hitters like Rajneesh Thakur and Advait Rajguru steadily gaining ground in the annual standings, Bajaj’s win helped him pull further away, breaching the ₹1.50 Crores mark in annual winnings and extending his lead over Thakur (currently #4 with ~ ₹1.40 Crores). Bajaj has thrown down the gauntlet—he’s not giving up his POY podium spot without a serious fight.

> 1st in Adda52 Millions for ₹4,52,628* (heads-up deal)

> 10th in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty for ₹64,668* (₹50,000 in bounties)

Sunday nights are for the serious players, and the Adda52 Millions final table proved that beyond any doubt. Loaded with elite poker talent and overlay value, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD flagship was a battleground for the best, and Naresh ’emperor457′ Veeravalli nearly walked away with the crown… again.

Naresh Veeravalli
Naresh Veeravalli

A cash game specialist with serious MTT credentials, Veeravalli is no stranger to high-stakes poker drama. From deep runs in Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire and the IOPC Super Highroller to clinching a Gold Medal in the NPS#132 Slamdunk this March and winning Adda52’s first-ever Burstfire in April, the man has proven time and again that he can hang with the very best in the game.

Last night, he came heartbreakingly close to claiming what would have been his third win of the year and, remarkably, his fourth Adda52 Millions title. Entering the 9 PM flagship with intent, Veeravalli tore through a stacked field but fell just short at the final hurdle, finishing as the runner-up for the second time in this Sunday staple. Still, the heads-up deal saw his account credited with a sweet ₹4.12 Lakhs.

Adding a small cash from PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack (116th for ₹9,500), Veeravalli closed out his night with his winnings tallying up to nearly ₹4.22 Lakhs—not a bad haul at all for a Sunday run that just missed out on the top spot.

> 2nd in Adda52 Millions for ₹4,12,411* (heads-up deal)

> 116th in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for ₹9,500

Naresh Veeravalli’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.91 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.20 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #2 | Annual Winnings: ₹47.21 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹17.31 Lakhs

As often seen, the Adda52 Millions final table was a star-studded affair, featuring big names like the EndBoss 6.0 champion Arun ‘runyrules’ Sriram coming off a strong run at APT Taipei 2025 (4th for ₹2.02 Lakhs), last night’s BSS SuperStack champion on a real heater, Anurag ‘NormanBates’ Srivastava (5th for ₹1.50 lakhs), and Young Gun Ujjwal ‘fourteenk’ Narwal (6th for ₹1.11 Lakhs).

Like the rest of Adda52’s Sunday schedule, the Adda52 Millions also missed its guarantee. It fell ₹4.20 Lakhs short—an almost 17% overlay, but notably less than last week, much like the bigger tournaments such as the Big Whale. But for the players involved, that shortfall just meant pure added value. The top 31 finishers were paid, each collecting at least ₹27,189—more than 2.3 times their initial buy-in.

For value-seeking grinders and Sunday poker specialists alike, it was another electric night on Adda52. With the turnouts picking up and momentum building, the rest of May promises to keep the action and rewards flowing generously on the country`s longest-running online poker platform!

It was a busy and explosive Sunday all around, and Adda52 certainly brought the heat with the high-stakes Big Whale finale, the ever-popular Adda52 Millions, and now a certified Sunday staple, the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Mystery Bounty. The latter has quickly become a regular fixture since it stepped in to replace the previous Sunday Head Hunter in March.

The Mystery Bounty got underway at its usual 8 PM slot, drawing in a lively 426 entries (181 unique), each chasing a piece of the prize pool and those tantalizing hidden bounty rewards that can swing fortunes instantly. The action was non-stop from the get-go, as players went full throttle to bag the right knockouts, hoping to maximize their chances at grabbing those juicy extra prizes. As the virtual dust finally settled late into the night, one name stood tall at the finish line — frankly, it wasn’t much of a surprise.

Gaurav ‘BuildPuntOK’ Sood, the three-time Player of the Year, was the last man standing. Undeniably the most decorated online MTT player in the country, this Young Gun, who is now firmly operating in a league of his own, seems to have shifted into an entirely different realm of consistency in recent weeks. His performance graph has been on a near-vertical climb since online scores started being tracked back in 2019. His online stats are unmatched to date (though a few elite players like Tarun Goyal and Anant Purohit are certainly trying to close that gap), and his recent tear through the tournaments is genuinely the stuff of poker legends!

Gaurav Sood
Gaurav Sood

Since April alone, he’s landed an astonishing 19 final table finishes. Sood ended April with a bang, finishing as the runner-up in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5. He followed that up with another strong second-place finish in Adda52’s Godfather on May 1, then doubled down with two more runner-up scores — one in the MMA Highroller PKO, and another in the Adda52 Millions just last Sunday.

This past week was something else entirely, with him seemingly hitting our radar almost daily: he won Adda52’s Inception, and even took another runner-up score in Junglee Poker’s PPL Tuesday Phoenix. Midweek, he struck again, taking down Adda52’s Wednesday Wonder, and landed on PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite final table the next day.

Running this incredibly hot, Sood returned to the Adda52 tables on Sunday and promptly stacked another win to add to an unstoppable streak. He fired five entries in the Mystery Bounty, and that fifth bullet paid off in spades. He expertly cut through the packed field to claim his first title in this Adda52 flagship. Along with the ₹2.27 Lakhs payout for the win, he also picked up a very tidy ₹1.27 Lakhs in mystery bounties, which saw his total winnings in this event reach ₹3.54 Lakhs. This victory added a new milestone to his unmatched resume — his 11th title this year, and his eighth on Adda52 in 2025 alone.

But Sood’s Sunday conquests didn’t end there. He picked up two more cashes on Adda52, ending his power-packed session with his bankroll inflated by almost ₹3.85 Lakhs. This keeps him firmly in the POY conversation for what would be an unbelievable fourth POY win! However, given the considerable distance between the current frontrunners and the incredibly tight competition in the top ten, it won’t be easy, even for someone of Sood`s pedigree. But if anyone can pull off such a feat, he sits at the very top of that short list.

> 1st in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty for ₹3,53,965* (₹1,27,386 in bounties)

> 32nd in Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick for ₹7,288

> 47th in Adda52’s Big Whale for ₹23,416

Gaurav Sood’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹23.87 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹12.46 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #11 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.28 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹76.36 Lakhs

Waiting for him at the other end of that Mystery Bounty battle was Nandan ‘LotJ24’ Pugalia, one of the more promising young names on the circuit. Pugalia himself was coming in fresh off a win in Saturday’s Stack Attack and had his eyes set on achieving back-to-back trophies. He took the fight directly to Sood, pushing him to dig deep for the eventual win. Pugalia ultimately finished in second place, a performance that added ₹1.92 Lakhs to his name, and that figure included ₹25,918 he collected in mystery bounties. His Sunday run, however, was far from over.

Nandan Pugalia
Nandan Pugalia

Soon after his near-miss in the Mystery Bounty, Pugalia almost found redemption in PokerBaazi`s BSS SuperStack. He fell just short of the title again, settling for another hard-fought second-place finish, this time his efforts worth a handsome ₹5 Lakhs. Ending what must have been a bittersweet night with two runner-up finishes and another two scores, Pugalia’s total Sunday haul swelled to ₹7.19 Lakhs — a strong statement from a player who is clearly in a fantastic groove.

> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for ₹5,00,000

> 2nd in Adda52’s Mystery Bounty for ₹1,92,017* (₹25,918 in bounties)

> 72nd in Adda52’s Big Whale for ₹20,604

> 25th in Adda52’s The Sundowner for ₹6,168

Nandan Pugalia’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.28 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.38 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #7 (across all platforms) | Annual Winnings: ₹80.72 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹22.71 Lakhs | Moves to #49 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard

The final table of the Mystery Bounty, like most of the other major tournaments last night, read like a veritable who’s who of the Indian poker circuit, many of them finding riches in the mystery bounty draws. Rajat ‘oshoswami’ Sharma, the January leaderboard topper who also recently won the WTF, continued his fine run of form, finishing third for ₹1.27 Lakhs (₹5,119 in bounties). Bollywood actor, DJ, and well-known poker regular Siddhanth ‘bullzeyepower’ Kapoor, who’s been busy stacking up scores on Natural8 India and made the final table of The Quest on Friday, finished fourth here, banking ₹2.02 Lakhs (₹1.13 Lakhs in bounties). WSOP bracelet winner Aditya ‘a_sushant’ Sushant, the NPC contender who was coming off a runner-up finish in Adda52’s HeadHunter last week, also made his presence known, ending his run in seventh place, a finish that swelled his account by ₹2.47 Lakhs (₹2.12 Lakhs in bounties). Saturday’s Stack Attack runner-up ‘Danson’ rounded out this power-packed final table lineup in eighth place, earning ₹1.92 Lakhs (₹1.66 Lakhs in bounties).

The ₹5,750 buy-in Mystery Bounty, much like the other Adda52 Sunday majors, continued its player-friendly, value-first trend. It recorded ₹3.70 Lakhs in overlays – this being the odd one out, which saw its overlay value double over last week, compared to the other big tournaments, which saw better turnouts. A total of 63 players made it into the payouts, with each walking away with at least ₹6,316 — and that’s even before accounting for any of the mystery bounties they managed to pick up along the way.

Between those player-friendly overlays, exciting tournament formats, and an ever-competitive field packed with familiar names and rising stars, Adda52’s Sunday offerings certainly packed in everything that players look forward to!
