The third Sunday of January turned up the heat on the virtual felts, delivering an unforgettable night packed with high-stakes drama and jaw-dropping action! Natural8 India again led the charge, hosting some of the weekend’s most unforgettable showdowns. Adding to the adrenaline rush, PokerBaazi’s Baazi Super Sunday (BSS) lineup, Adda52’s Masterminds Arena finale, and electrifying tournaments on Junglee Poker and Pocket52 kept the adrenaline pumping all weekend long.

Sunday night’s biggest stunner came from Natural8 India, where ‘dontraiseplz’ made a grand entrance that no one will soon forget. After a mind-blowing runner-up finish in last month’s Bounty Hunters Main Event 54 for an incredible ₹46.67 Lakhs, ‘dontraiseplz’ delivered another electrifying performance. In the Grand Prix Europe 125, they blazed through an enormous field of 1,809 entries to claim the runner-up spot, earning a staggering ₹25.10 Lakhs – their second-largest score on the platform! This incredible feat crowned them Sunday’s top earner and added their name to the growing list of Natural8 India’s rising stars!

Kritarth Pant, last week’s Adda52 Millions champion, continued his hot streak with a dominant performance in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack. He claimed his second victory in this event, taking home a career-best ₹8.36 Lakhs. With additional deep runs, Pant’s spectacular Sunday earnings crossed ₹8.53 Lakhs, pushing him to #18 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 Player of the Year leaderboard and making him the day’s second-biggest winner. Meanwhile, ‘lailaterilelegi’ locked in a personal-best ₹5.45 Lakhs with a runner-up finish in the BSS SuperStack – nearly tripling their previous high score and staging a significant comeback from past losses.

Yash Jaiswal displayed remarkable consistency, finishing third in the BSS SuperStack for the second consecutive week. His outstanding Sunday performance saw him crushing the competition across the board, with at least nine deep runs and runner-up finishes in PokerBaazi’s (6-Max) BSS SPRINT and Adda52’s MMA Monster Stack, raking in nearly ₹5.98 Lakhs across his rampage.

Young Gun Hardik Nair continued his impressive run, claiming his first Adda52 Millions title for ₹4.89 Lakhs. This was his second flagship win of 2025 and pushed his Sunday earnings to nearly ₹6.35 Lakhs, including a standout third-place finish in the MMA Highroller for ₹98,165. Samyak Sethi also had a strong showing, finishing runner-up in the Adda52 Millions for ₹3.62 Lakhs, his best score of the year. Adding two more deep runs, Sethi’s Sunday winnings totalled ₹3.74 Lakhs!

One of the night’s exciting events was the ₹5,500 buy-in N8IN x APT Manila Classic 2025 tournament, hosted on Natural8 India. After intense action, the tournament played down to its final table, headlined by poker sensation and the 2024 POY runner-up Anant Purohit (886,903 chips). Joining him were other worthy contenders, including Vineet Kumar (392,523), Thummala Karthik Reddy (357,654), Devajit Labh (318,690), Jayant Deshmukh (287,914), Rahul Darak (256,066), Pratik Parte (146,234), S Shiva Shankar (128,830), and Sunny Prajapati (125,336).

Each finalist has already bagged an all-expenses-paid trip to Manila (worth ₹15 Lakhs in total value) and locked in at least a ₹19,117 payday! When the final table resumes on February 9 at 2 PM (local time), the stakes will be even higher, with the winner taking home the prestigious APT Lions Trophy and the ₹2.13 Lakhs top prize. The top four will also win APT Main Event tickets worth ₹90,000, while the next five finalists will walk away with APT Mini Main Event tickets worth ₹37,000.

Sunday night exploded with online poker fireworks, and JaiKiran ‘ZEEKE777’ Kumar, coming off a stunning (lucky!) 13th-place finish in the 2024 POY race, was ready to unleash his poker fury on Junglee Poker. This master of mid to high-stakes tournaments turned Sunday night into his highlight reel, leaving a trail of bewildered opponents in his wake.

Jaikiran Kumar
Jaikiran Kumar

By the time the digital dust settled, Kumar had claimed his third title of 2025 (his second flagship victory) and five impressive deep runs. His total winnings for the night soared to a striking ₹4.30 Lakhs.

Kumar’s poker resume reads like a legend’s scroll. From conquering PokerBaazi’s Game Changer 4.0 in 2020 to his stunning career-best final table finish in Natural8 India’s Lunar Mystery Bounty in February 2024, he’s consistently proven himself a master strategist and a fearless competitor. And last night, he was at the top of his game.

The night began with a bang as Kumar entered Junglee Poker’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special Knockout, the 7:30 PM flagship where he’d reached the podium at least twice last year. Like a seasoned general leading his troops into battle, he navigated the field of 328 challengers in an eight-hour war of attrition, claiming the ₹3.58 Lakhs top prize, which included a hefty ₹2.23 Lakhs in bounties.

This victory comes on the heels of a PLO flagship win in PokerBaazi’s newly introduced Big PLO-5 on January 7 (his first day back at the online grind in the new year) and a marquee win in Adda52’s MMA Monsterstack on Saturday. Kumar is on a roll, and the poker world is taking notice!

Young Gun Gaurav ‘Shinichi’ Sood, a generational talent with a record three POY titles already to his name, was also in the reckoning. This poker superstar from Gurugram seems determined to reclaim his crown in 2025, and his Sunday performance was a testament to his unmatched consistency and drive. He racked up ₹3.20 Lakhs from seven deep runs, highlighted by a stellar runner-up finish in Junglee Poker’s Sunday Special Knockout.

Sood started his Sunday grind with laser focus, carving through the stacked field in the Sunday Special Knockout. He earned ₹2.03 Lakhs (₹68,813 in bounties) – the centrepiece of his Sunday success.

This isn’t Sood’s first rodeo in 2025. He’s already clinched back-to-back titles in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite and Adda52’s Ferris Wheel, along with several final table finishes that solidify his position as one of the most consistent players in the game.

The weekend wasn’t without its challenges for Sood. On Friday, he came close to taking down Adda52’s The Ballers and Junglee Poker’s Friday Supernova, finishing as the runner-up in both. But Sood doesn’t back down from a challenge. He returned to the tables on Sunday with renewed determination, proving that he’s as relentless as he is skilled.

Sood’s top Sunday achievements include:

> 2nd in Junglee Poker’s Sunday Special Knockout for ₹2,03,136* (₹68,813 in bounties)

> 7th in Adda52 Millions for ₹80,082

Adda52’s 1.30+ Crores GTD Masterminds Arena (MMA) reached its epic conclusion last night, transforming the platform into a gladiatorial arena where poker warriors clashed for glory. All eyes were on Monday’s MMA 8-Max PKO champion, Arush ‘arush07’ Pratap, who put on a masterclass to take down the series headliner, the 25 Lakhs GTD MMA Main Event.

This series showstopper pulled in a crowd of 1,282 entries (881 unique) across nine starting flights. The finale kicked off at 10 PM on Sunday, and the tension was palpable. Pratap, a former Godfather champion, was ready for a fight, and he battled his way through a sea of hopefuls with skill and determination. When the final card was dealt, Pratap had done it, claiming the MMA Main Event title and a scorching 4.03 Lakhs payday—his third-biggest score on the platform and his second MMA title of the series. He’s really on a roll!

And get this – Pratap also picked up some change in PokerBaazi’s BSS Kickoff, finishing 55th for 4,046. With more than 4.07 Lakhs in his pocket from Sunday’s grind, he officially crossed the 50 Lakhs mark in tracked online winnings.

Walia played with guts and a whole lot of skill in the MMA Main Event and nearly snatched the title. He ended up as the runner-up, but that’s still good for 2.89 Lakhs—his biggest win on Adda52 and his second-best score ever!

Pranav Walia’s online stats (Adda52 and PokerBaazi): Lifetime Winnings: 23.66 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: 16.96 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #2

The ₹10 Lakhs GTD MMA Highroller, one of the featured events on the final day of the ₹1.30+ Crores GTD Masterminds Arena (MMA), drew a star-studded lineup of Indian poker heavyweights. Mahesh, a poker coach at PokerGuru Stacking, isn’t just teaching the game—he’s living it. After leading the Deccan Aces to victory in Pocket52 PSL Season 6 and snagging the Player of the Season title last year, Mahesh took a short break from crushing the competition. But with his last major victory in Pocket52’s Pocket HighRoller just four weeks ago, he was clearly ready to make a statement.

Facing a stacked field of 393 entries (230 unique) in Adda52’s 7:30 PM flagship event, Mahesh showed everyone who’s boss, dominating the tournament with his signature style. He didn’t stop there, either. Adding two more deep runs to his name, he wrapped up Sunday with at least ₹3.39 Lakhs in total winnings—a true inspiration to his students and the poker community!
