The last Sunday of January was a blockbuster one as the India Online Poker Championship 14.0 completed ten days of its guarantee-crushing run. If the first Sunday was big with IOPC #31 Blaze champion Dhaval Mudgal taking home ₹34.46 Lakhs payday, then last night was ginormous as Madhav Sethi packed in an even bigger ₹46.28 Lakhs paycheque for championing the ₹2.50 Crores GTD IOPC #85 Beast! With the ₹5 Crores GTD IOPC #41 The Crown slated to crown a champion in seven days, February 5 will be ‘majestically mind-boggling!’

But without getting carried away with what’s to come, let’s get back to what’s already happened. While Madhav Sethi stole the Sunday thunder, poker coach Mithun Mahesh gave him a run for his money. The former The Millionaire winner came second for an eye-popping ₹27.80 Lakhs and FT-ed the IOPC #82 Sunday High (6th for ₹3.56 Lakhs), packing in a whopping ₹31 Lakhs in Sunday earnings!

Rahul Singroha waltzed into the ‘Millionaire’s Club’ after shipping Spartan Poker`s IOPC #81 IOPC Millionaire for a career-best ₹16.65 Lakhs. The IOPC #54 Wednesday High winner bested the IOPC #49 R+A champion Abhijeet Kumar (2nd for a personal-best ₹15.26 Lakhs) heads-up, en route to clinching his second IOPC silver badge in four days. Abhijeet Kumar locked in ₹16.91 Lakhs in Sunday earnings across three ITM finishes.

The two-time Game Changer champion Shagun Jain joined the winner’s party after shipping Spartan Poker`s IOPC #82 Sunday High for a monstrous ₹15.40 Lakhs top prize, collecting his first IOPC silver badge and closing out a month-long dry spell. Goonjan Mall registered yet another runner-up finish, banking ₹10.25 Lakhs (won ₹11.37 Lakhs overall). His phenomenal Sunday run saw him enter the “₹10 Crore Club” and storm past ₹4 Crores in tracked online profits.

The current IOPC leaderboard topper, Vinay Rajpal, extended his lead further by winning the multi-flight IOPC #84 Wanderer for ₹4.42 Lakhs (won ₹8.27 Lakhs overall). Vikhyat Ahlawat collected a runner-up payday of ₹4.38 Lakhs (won ₹4.44 Lakhs overall), courtesy of a heads-up deal.

Anand Kevlani (Won IOPC #83 Sunday Spotlight for ₹5.19 Lakhs), Deepak Singh (Won IOPC #86 PKO for ₹1.49 Lakhs), Parag Shah (Won IOPC #80 Monster Stack for ₹1.36 Lakhs), and Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi (Won IOPC #79 DST for ₹1.68 Lakhs) shipped the other IOPC Sunday marquees.

Akshat Sharma conquered Adda52’s Mega Suits for ₹6.38 Lakhs, closing out a 15-week-long title drought.

Young Gun Gaurav Sood bounced back in the POY rat race by clinching the Adda52 Millions title for the fourth time for ₹6.18 Lakhs. The two-time POY thrashed out six deep runs, netting ₹9.85 Lakhs overall.

Ashutosh Balodhi clinched his third title of the year in PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) BSS Championship for ₹4.75 Lakhs, crossing ₹5.50 Crores in tracked winnings. He struck a three-way deal with Sreekanth Narayan (2nd for ₹4.44 Lakhs) and Vaibhav Sharma (3rd for ₹4.36 Lakhs) (won ₹8.68 Lakhs overall).
