While the 2022 WSOP is on its last legs, the Sunday online action back home was nothing short of electrifying, with Spartan Poker`s inaugural India Turbo Masters (ITM) playing down to a scintillating finale!
It was a terrific day for PokerGuru Staking all around. The stable`s head honcho Kartik Ved came within striking distance of winning his second WSOP bracelet in the 2022 WSOP Event #87: $5,000 8-Handed NLHE, finishing 4th for $172,103 (~₹1.37 Crores). Not too long before that, his stable mate PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja won his first WSOP Circuit ring in WSOP Circuit Series Event #11 – $100K GTD NLHE Double Stack on WSOP.com for $28,883 (~₹23.09 Lakhs).
The user ‘Loot_era’ topped the Sunday charts after taking down Spartan Poker’s ITM #49 Main Event for a personal-best ₹28.11 Lakhs. ‘Sanju0101’ (2nd for ₹15.99 Lakhs) and Mohammad Azhar (3rd for ₹11.29 Lakhs) posted podium finishes in the ITM Main Event. Azhar cashed another three events, rounding up ₹11.69 Lakhs in Sunday winnings.
PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun Mahesh was the standout winner from the stable. The MTT pro fired up eight ITM finishes across his Sunday grind on domestic sites, banking an impressive ₹9.82 Lakhs (overall). He made two top finishes ( 5th & 11th place) in Spartan Poker’s ITM #49 – Main Event for ₹8.24 Lakhs (collectively) and finished sixth in PokerStars India’s Sunday Highroller (On-time Rake Refund) for ₹61,578.
The nine-time IOPC title winner Gopal Bajaj hit the Sunday jackpot, winning Spartan Poker’s ITM #46 Sunday Supersonic for a career-best ₹8.51 Lakhs. Vaibhav Arora came second for ₹5.40 Lakhs.
PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek Singh was another trailblazer for the team and filled in almost ₹8.16 Lakhs in Sunday winnings, including shipping the Adda52 Millions for ₹6.86 Lakhs (his second time winning the Sunday flagship title this year).
Young Gun Kanchan Sharma, part of the Indian contingent in Vietnam for the APT Summer Festival Hanoi VSOP, took down Adda52’s Mega Suits for ₹6.35 Lakhs.
Rising Star Aman Parakh made the victory march in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack, netting ₹5.58 Lakhs in first-place prize money (₹6.94 Lakhs overall). The veteran poker pro Dhaval Mudgal collected ₹3.91 Lakhs in second place.
The two-time BSS SuperStack champion Siddharth Pandey was another chartbuster, and he raked in ₹3.69 Lakhs from two title victories and another FT finish. He won PokerBaazi’s BSS SPRINT for ₹1.89 Lakhs and Spartan Poker’s ITM #47 Hyper for ₹62,456.
