11,489 entries. ₹4.28 Crores in prize money. 21 medals awarded on Day 1. The biggest-ever ₹100 Crore GTD National Poker Series India 2025 launched with a bang on PokerBaazi this past Sunday! This isn’t just big; it’s seismic, reshaping the Indian poker landscape. PokerGuru, the official media partner for this mega series, is locked in, bringing you every thrilling twist and turn as it unfolds.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough, consider this—while poker stars were battling it out on the virtual felts, the Indian cricket team was engaged in a high-stakes showdown against arch-rivals Pakistan in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. Yet, not even India’s emphatic victory on the cricket pitch could pull poker fans away from the PokerBaazi tables. The numbers tell the story—India’s poker faithful showed up in force, making Day 1 of NPS India 2025 nothing short of legendary!
Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, the Indian flag was flying high at the $3,500 buy-in WPT Cambodia Championship. Poker heavyweights like Aditya Agarwal, Ankit Ahuja, and Apoorva Goel were deep in the trenches on Day 4. Goel put up a strong fight with hsi short stack before bowing out in 13th place, pocketing a respectable $28,500 (~₹24.70 Lakhs). Agarwal kept the dream alive, finishing seventh for $63,000 (~₹54.63 Lakhs). But it was Ahuja who truly seized the moment. Against a world-class field, he carried India’s hopes to the final day, claiming third place and a jaw-dropping $189,000 (~₹1.64 Crores).
Back on PokerBaazi, the NPS#1 Kickoff, the first of two eight-figure guaranteed flagships on the NPS Sunday schedule, delivered a spectacle of high-stakes drama and life-changing wins. Shattering a year-long dry spell, Raj proved his mettle when it mattered most. This victory catapulted him to #4 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and #1 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard, making him Sunday’s second-biggest winner. Known to be a live poker specialist through and through, Tumboli had committed to the online grind for the NPS in a recent social media post and he delivered by storming through the competition to claim ₹5.69 Lakhs—his second-biggest online score. His momentum didn’t stop there, as he cashed in four more NPS flagships, pushing his Sunday total to ₹6.19 Lakhs. This fantastic performance moved him to #2 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and tied him for #1 on Maharashtra`s State Leaderboard. Mohit Bohra, fresh off a podium finish in the BSS Super Value last week, also delivered a strong performance. He racked up at least ₹4.37 Lakhs across three deep runs, with his biggest payday coming from a runner-up finish in the NPS#6 Marathon for ₹4 Lakhs and his first NPS Silver Medal.
Rupam Thakur, PokerGuru’s Senior Content Editor and part-time streamer, also broke through, winning his first NPS Gold Medal in PokerBaazi’s NPS#2 Slamdunk. Taking full advantage of a day off from editorial duties, he conquered the field, pocketing a career-best ₹4.91 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. This breakthrough win also gave him his first flagship title, erased nearly 80% of his platform losses, and placed him at the top of the West Bengal State Leaderboard and 11th on the NPS Series leaderboard. Meanwhile, ‘7ceman,’ a long-time low-to-mid stakes grinder, nearly grabbed their first NPS title but finished second, earning a personal-best ₹4.63 Lakhs. Their deep run not only earned them their first NPS medal but also wiped out all past losses on the platform!

The ₹100 Crore GTD National Poker Series India 2025 has arrived on PokerBaazi, and it’s not just making ripples—it’s creating a tidal wave! Forget gentle introductions; this series exploded onto the scene this Sunday with seven high-stakes tournaments and close to ₹4 Crores in guaranteed prize money. The ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#1 Kickoff, one of two eight-figure guaranteed events on the opening day slate, became an instant classic, setting the bar high for what promises to be a record-smashing series.
Even the India vs. Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy clash couldn’t deter the poker faithful. A staggering 2,258 entrants (1,143 unique) flooded the 2:30 PM showstopper. After a nine-and-a-half-hour showdown, Maharashtra’s Ansh ‘Xinigami’ Raj emerged from the poker crucible with his first NPS gold medal and a personal-best ₹11.19 Lakhs, courtesy of a heads-up deal. That’s over 3.75 times his previous top cash.
This victory was more than a big payday—it was a comeback story. Raj hadn’t won anything in over a year and chose the biggest stage to break the drought. Interestingly, he’s no stranger to NPS success, having bagged a bronze in last year’s NPS#78 (6-Max) Hyper SPRINT. With both of his NPS final table appearances resulting in medals, one thing is clear—when Raj reaches the business end of an NPS event, he’s in it to win it.
His opening-day heroics have catapulted him to #4 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and #1 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard, boosting his overall NPS winnings to ₹14.67 Lakhs. That’s more than enough to erase his past losses, and it lands him as the second-biggest winner of the day, hot on the heels of Rising Star Ritwik Khanna.

Delhi’s Sahil ‘illuminati777’ Babbar, a former EndBoss finalist fresh off a final table appearance in WTF on Friday, also had his sights firmly set on his first NPS Gold. Babbar, a bronze medalist in the 2022 NPS#6 SPRINT, was determined to conquer the NPS#1 Kickoff. Four bullets later, he seized the silver medal and ₹9.91 Lakhs, thanks to the heads-up deal—his second-best online result.
But his day wasn’t over. A 118th-place finish in NPS#5 Inaugural added to his haul, bringing his Sunday total to over ₹10.11 Lakhs.

This past Sunday was a day etched in the annals of Indian history, a double whammy of national pride. While the men’s cricket team was busy dismantling arch-rivals Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy, a different kind of battle was unfolding on the poker tables of PokerBaazi. It was a clash of minds and wills, the grand launch of the National Poker Series (NPS) India 2025.
This ₹100 Crores GTD behemoth, aptly named the “Olympics of Indian Poker,” didn’t just tiptoe onto the scene—it exploded. With ₹3.95 Crores guaranteed across seven major tournaments on Day 1 alone, including two with eight-figure guarantees, the stakes were high, the tension was thick, and the rewards were life-altering.
At the heart of the opening day’s action was the blockbuster ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#5 Inaugural, a true test of poker prowess. After a gruelling 10-hour-and-5-minute marathon, Prince ‘NaNki’ Singh, a Baazi Millionaires club member from last June, emerged as the champion, etching his name into NPS history and putting Bihar on the medal’s scorecard!
Singh, who conquered the Adda52 The Mint DPT Edition less than two weeks ago, came out swinging in the 7 PM mega flagship. He toppled a stacked field of 1,249 entries (638 unique) in just the second of 21 eight-figure guaranteed tournaments on the NPS schedule. This wasn’t just another win for Singh—it was a statement. He claimed his second NPS Gold Medal (his third NPS medal overall, including a bronze), his sixth title of the year, and a staggering ₹9.43 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. This victory also skyrocketed Singh to the top of the NPC leaderboard (tied with the other winners) and landed him the #1 spot on the Bihar State Leaderboard.
But Singh’s Sunday wasn’t over. He cashed in three more NPS events, making five deep runs in total. By the night’s end, his Sunday earnings had crossed the ₹10.13 Lakh mark, vaulting him to #3 on the NPS Series Leaderboard.

His efforts were rewarded with an even better ₹10.27 Lakhs from the deal—his biggest score ever on the platform—and his first-ever NPS Silver Medal (his fifth NPS medal overall).
Khanna’s Sunday heater was far from over. He also finished runner-up in Spartan Poker’s Ignite for ₹1.68 Lakhs and cashed in six more events, including deep runs in four other NPS tournaments. By the time he wrapped up his long session, Khanna’s total winnings for the night had reached a jaw-dropping ₹12.89 Lakhs. This past Sunday was a day of national passion. While cricket fans were glued to the India vs. Pakistan clash in the ICC Champions Trophy, a different kind of high-stakes drama unfolded on PokerBaazi: the launch of the biggest poker series India has ever witnessed, the ₹100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025.
Seven tournaments, boasting nearly ₹4 Crores in guaranteed prizes, ignited the felt on the opening day of the fifth edition of India’s most celebrated online poker festival. The tension was electric.
One name, however, echoed through the pokerverse louder than any cheer from the Dubai cricket stadium (even though he didn’t win one of the two ₹1 Crore GTD NPS headliners on the opening day): PokerBaazi Team Pro, Zarvan ‘MomSaid5Bet’ Tumboli. A live poker specialist through and through, Tumboli is a regular at cash tables and major tournaments across Asia and beyond. His trophy cabinet already gleams with two WPT titles, four APT trophies, and the Poker Dream 8 Malaysia Main Event crown from last year.
Just before the NPS, Zarvan surprised everyone with a social media post. He was diving headfirst into the series, committing to the entire grind. This was uncharted territory for him, a complete shift in his poker philosophy.
“I’ve always believed online poker require a different level of discipline and patience— which is probably why I’ve stuck to live tourneys and cash games. But when the opportunity is this big, even I cant help but get into the action! National Poker Series 2025 kicks off tomorrow and for the first time in my career, I’m grinding a whole series like this. If I can do it, you guys definitely can,” Tumboli wrote. Little did anyone know, he was about to rewrite his poker narrative.
Tumboli hit a grand slam right out of the gate, capturing the ₹50 Lakhs GTD NPS#6 Marathon for his first-ever NPS Gold Medal!
Tumboli—aka “India’s Poker Sultan” and the 2023 People`s Poker Champion—delivered a virtuoso performance in the 8:30 PM flagship. He conquered a stacked field of 1,633 entries (869 unique), surviving a gruelling nine-hour, 12-minute marathon to claim his first NPS Gold. The spoils of victory were a staggering ₹5.69 Lakhs – his second-biggest online score to date.
Tumboli’s momentum carried him through four more NPS flagships, adding a remarkable ₹6.23 Lakhs to his Sunday total. This explosive start launched him to #2 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and tied him for #1 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.

With a ₹3,450 buy-in, the NPS#6 Marathon fell just ₹1.01 Lakhs short of its ₹50 Lakhs guarantee, offering even more value to the players. The top 260 finishers padded their wallets with at least ₹5,500. Even the India vs. Pakistan cricket match couldn’t distract poker players from the NPS India 2025 frenzy. The ₹100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025 has officially landed, and it didn’t tiptoe in—it burst onto PokerBaazi this Sunday with a sonic boom! Seven high-stakes tournaments, nearly ₹4 Crores in guaranteed prize money, and an electric atmosphere made it clear: this isn’t just a series; it’s history in the making. PokerGuru, the official media partner, is in the thick of it, reporting all the details!
Ironically, both PokerBaazi and PokerGuru had major representation on the kickoff day. PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli struck gold in the NPS#6 Marathon, while PokerGuru’s Senior Content Editor and part-time streamer Rupam ‘poker_thakur’ Thakur steamrolled the NPS#2 Slamdunk. A double whammy for the ₹50 Lakhs GTD NPS events!
Thakur blazed a trail on the opening day, returning to the winner’s circle in spectacular fashion after an extended dry spell. His prowess was on full display in the ₹50 Lakhs GTD NPS#2 Slamdunk, where he etched his name into NPS history. This wasn’t just any victory for Thakur—it was a breakthrough moment. His first-ever NPS medal (a gleaming Gold, no less) and his maiden flagship title on the platform—talk about a mic drop!
Thakur, who luckily had the day off from his editorial duties, dove headfirst into the 4 PM flagship event. His years of observing the poker landscape, combined with countless hours at the tables, saw him weathering a storm of 2,038 entries (1,086 unique) across a nine-hour, 13-minute epic. With two well-timed entries, he conquered the field, walking away with a career-best ₹4.91 Lakhs and his first NPS Gold medal after a heads-up deal. This win obliterated his previous best score, a runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s Masters#15 MonsterStack in August 2023, by a factor of three. This victory also recouped almost 80% of his platform losses in one shot and brought him back into overall profitability.
Thakur now reigns supreme atop the West Bengal State Leaderboard with ten points, earned from his gold medal triumph, and shares the throne in the National Poker Champion standings with the day’s other gold medalists. He also holds a solid 11th place on the NPS Series leaderboard with 1,990 points.
Rupam Thakur’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹53.29 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹93,379 | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Ranked #11 on the NPS India Leaderboard | Ranked #1 on the NPS West Bengal State Leaderboard | NPS Medals won: 1 Gold
Then there’s ‘7ceman,’ the West Bengal enigma. A regular at the low-to-mid stakes since April 2018, ‘7ceman’ usually flies under the radar. But Sunday was their day to shine. They came within a hair’s breadth of their first-ever NPS title, finishing second to Thakur in the NPS#2 Slamdunk. They walked away with a personal best ₹4.63 Lakhs and their first NPS Silver Medal, courtesy of the heads-up deal. This impressive run also erased all their past losses on the platform in one fell swoop.
7ceman’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹16.66 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹2.61 Lakhs | NPS Medals won: 1 Silver
Sporadic crusher Madhav ‘maddy7777’ Sethi, known for his January 2023 IOPC Beast victory, also had a lucrative Sunday session. He raked in almost ₹3.09 Lakhs from four deep runs, including a third-place finish in the NPS#2 Slamdunk for ₹2.86 Lakhs and his first NPS medal, a Bronze.

The NPS India 2025 is off to a blazing start, and while the ₹40 Lakhs GTD NPS#7 (7-Max) SPRINT might not have been the flashiest tournament on the opening day`s schedule, it certainly delivered its share of drama. For Vinay ‘vinay09’ Rajpal, this tournament wasn’t just another event but a chance to rewrite his story. Four months had passed since his last major win in Pocket52’s Pocket Kings in October. In the fickle world of poker, that’s a lifetime. Rajpal was hungry to prove he still had what it takes, and he couldn`t have asked for a better setting for a comeback.
The 9:30 PM showdown began. Rajpal, a seasoned player known for his skill and a certain panache, began his climb. He carved his way through the field with a calculated mix of aggression and patience. Seven hours later, after a tense three-way deal, the cards fell his way. Rajpal stood alone as the champion – ₹3.57 Lakhs richer and two bullets fired with a second NPS Gold Medal gleaming in his grasp.
But the night wasn’t over. Not even close. Rajpal’s rampage continued with six more deep runs, five of them in NPS flagships. The winnings piled up. ₹6.02 Lakhs. That’s where his winnings landed for the night. A stunning resurgence. He catapulted himself to the summit of the NPS Series Leaderboard. He also shares the lead on the Delhi State Leaderboard. This puts Rajpal squarely in the crosshairs of the National Poker Champion title. The stakes just got higher.

The National Poker Series India 2025, a ₹100 Crores GTD behemoth, has finally arrived on PokerBaazi, unleashing a torrent of poker action. Among the seven flagship tournaments on opening day was the ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#4 (PLO-5) Knockout, the first of 23 PLO battles on the stacked NPS schedule. Taking on a packed field of 1,602 entries (756 unique), Aneja fought for eight gruelling hours before seizing the 6:30 PM NPS flagship title. His dominant performance earned him a site-best ₹5.86 Lakhs, including ₹2.45 Lakhs in bounties. More importantly, it landed him his first-ever NPS Gold Medal (adding to a previous Bronze), and in the very first PLO battle of the series, no less. Adding a twist to the story, this is only his second recorded PLO tournament cash on PokerBaazi. This past Sunday saw seven electrifying NPS tournaments ignite the felt, boasting nearly ₹4 Crores in guaranteed prize money. The battle for the State Leaderboards is officially raging, and the chase to crown India’s first National Poker Champion is a full-blown frenzy, with prize pools that are simply astronomical.

Dadhich faced a guarantee-busting field of 1,309 hopefuls (631 unique), and he wasn’t afraid to commit, firing five bullets. This bold strategy paid off handsomely, rewarding him with the coveted Gold and a well-deserved ₹3.03 Lakhs, launching him to #16 on the NPS Series Leaderboard. Matching Dadhich’s tenacity with five entries, Sharma eventually finished runner-up for ₹2.11 Lakhs and a second career NPS Silver Medal.

PokerBaazi’s NPS India 2025 kicked off with a bang on Sunday, but Adda52 wasn’t about to be overshadowed. With a stacked lineup of Sunday tournaments and the Masterminds Arena finale, they brought their own brand of fireworks. And on this electrifying night, Goan poker maestro Ram ‘mowgumotu’ Kakkar (opted out of our tracking), after weeks of playing under the radar, chose to make a dramatic entrance back into the spotlight. He conquered Adda52’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD MMA Main Event, seizing a hefty ₹4.18 Lakhs first-place prize.
The multi-flight flagship drew a formidable 1,100-entry field comprising 684 unique players across nine starting flights. One hundred twenty-seven warriors survived this initial onslaught, converging for the climactic 10 PM finale, each guaranteed a payday but with their sights firmly set on the lion’s share of the prize pool. A marathon session of intense poker battles ensued, a true test of skill and endurance. And when the dust settled, Kakkar stood tall, the newly crowned champion, claiming the coveted title and a king-sized reward.
Giving Kakkar a tough fight was ‘jigs2412,’ an Adda52 regular grinding on the platform since November 2020. Fresh off a Valentine’s Day victory in The Ballers Lite, they were hungry for another title and came incredibly close. Though the win slipped through his fingers, he still walked away with a respectable ₹3.01 Lakhs for second place—his biggest score yet on Adda52, more than offsetting over half of his past losses on the platform.
jigs2412’s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹20.64 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
The MMA Main Event’s final table was a veritable who’s who of poker pros. Young Gun Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra, fresh from a final table appearance in Thursday’s Summit Lite, continued his scoring streak, taking third place for ₹2.17 Lakhs. Ryan ‘plassma’ Cardoso followed closely behind, grabbing fourth place and a respectable ₹1.56 Lakhs. Imran ‘Kingimo9’ Dalal added ₹1.12 Lakhs to his coffers with a solid fifth-place finish.
Also in the mix was Akshay ‘Philips000’ Thakur, who had podiumed in Wednesday’s Maverick and finished seventh in the MMA Main Event for ₹58,426. Young Gun Shardul ‘vamos96’ Parthasarathi, last night’s NPS#4 (PLO-5) Knockout PKO finalist, managed an eighth-place finish for ₹42,218.
Despite the star-studded field, the ₹2,200 buy-in MMA Main Event fell well short of its advertised guarantee, recording a glaring ₹4.67 Lakhs in overlays. This unexpected bonus translated into even greater value for the players, with the top 127 finishers guaranteed at least ₹6,665, more than three times their initial investment. Overall, it was an exciting and very lucrative Sunday for many players on India’s longest-running online poker platform.
