The holiday season is approaching, but the poker action shows no signs of slowing down! While some are dreaming of sugar plums, the poker elite are locked in an epic battle across three major international stops, each in its final stages. The EPT Prague concluded last night, but the drama continues at the WSOP Paradise, where the remaining four days promise a thrilling climax. Simultaneously, the WPT World Championship is heating up, with another week of intense action to come!
Meanwhile, back in the Indian online poker scene, Sunday was sheer pandemonium. PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online raised the bar on its second Sunday, with Day 8 boasting ₹4.55 Crores in guarantees across six thrilling events. Two coveted WPT Online trophies were up for grabs – a first in this series! But the real story was brewing elsewhere…
Sunday was a day for the history books in Indian poker, with nine players joining the online millionaire’s club. But the spotlight belonged to none other than 2024 POY frontrunner Tarun Goyal. This former IT professional turned poker superstar transformed an ordinary Sunday into an extraordinary one on Natural8 India. Already a WSOP bracelet winner and a serial record-breaker, Goyal all but guaranteed himself the POY crown in spectacular fashion.
Competing in the ₹2.75 Lakhs buy-in Mystery Millions Online 2750, Goyal finished 97th out of 2,185 entries. But the real magic happened when he pulled a mind-blowing ₹5 Crores mystery bounty – the largest online score ever by an Indian player! This boosted his total winnings in the event to an unbelievable ₹5.05 Crores. This incredible feat not only made him the undisputed MVP of Sunday but also cemented his reputation as a fearless player who thrives under the brightest lights.
This windfall catapulted Goyal’s annual earnings from ₹7.32 Crores to a jaw-dropping ₹12.37 Crores, with an astounding ₹11.74 Crores won on Natural8 India alone. By crossing the ₹12 Crores milestone and achieving his fifth eight-figure score of the year, Goyal has rewritten the record books with a flourish, establishing a legacy that will be hard to match.
Natural8 India crusher ‘dontraiseplz’ (anonymity requested) delivered another standout performance on Sunday, cementing their place among the day’s top earners. Following a runner-up finish in November’s Zodiac Sunday Main Event, ‘dontraiseplz’ once again came agonizingly close to victory in Natural8 India’s Bounty Hunters Main Event 54, finishing as the runner-up for a platform-best ₹46.67 Lakhs, making them the second-biggest winner of the day.
Over at PokerBaazi, Meghalaya’s ‘Pokerman84‘ pulled off a stunning victory in the ₹2 Crores GTD WPT#44 Mini Main. This wasn’t just their first title on the platform; it was a life-altering experience. A ₹30 Lakhs payday – over 68 times their previous best – and the prestigious WPT trophy now belong to ‘Pokerman84’. Mumbai’s Nishant Kumar, The MoneyMaker 72.0 champion, nearly ended his five-month title drought but fell short, settling for the runner-up spot and a career-best ₹17.14 Lakhs. This was his fourth seven-figure score, and with another small cash, Kumar’s Sunday earnings reached ₹17.22 Lakhs.
Rahul Purohit, fresh off his final table finish in last week’s GGMasters Double Stack 25, continued his stellar run on Natural8 India, finishing sixth in the Season’s Greetings Opener 125 for a site-best ₹16.80 Lakhs.
The second WPT Online event with an eight-figure guarantee, the ₹1 Crore GTD WPT#43 Milestone, saw ‘Noob’ emerge as the champion. They walked away with a personal best ₹15 Lakhs and the coveted WPT Online trophy. This monumental win – exceeding their previous best by over 8.5 times – catapulted ‘Noob’ into the exclusive club of WPT trophy holders and back into profitability. Anirban D Das, who etched his name in Indian poker history with a 16th-place finish in the 2024 WSOP Main Event, returned to the online grind after a two-month hiatus for the weekend flagships and immediately made his mark. Das raked in an incredible ₹10.53 Lakhs across four deep runs, including a remarkable second-place finish in the WPT#43 Milestone for ₹9.20 Lakhs.
POY#8 Satyam Verma returned to the spotlight in dominating fashion, conquering PokerBaazi’s WPT#39 Monsterstack. This victory was his first WPT Online title and at least his 15th online win this year. With a ₹7.50 Lakhs cash prize, he moved to #5 on the WPT India Online Leaderboard and with deep runs in four other events, Verma’s Friday winnings climbed to ₹8.10 Lakhs, pushing his yearly tracked online earnings past the ₹4 Crore mark! Nirbheek Biswas, a sporadic player who has been active since April last year, was the runner-up in the Monsterstack, adding ₹4 Lakhs to his bankroll – his second-best score to date.
Online poker veteran Mohit Mehta (opted out of our tracking) celebrated his birthday in style. He dominated PokerBaazi’s WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo, earning ₹5.63 Lakhs after a three-way deal. This win broke his three-month title drought. He capped off the night with another deep run, taking his Sunday winnings to at least ₹5.68 Lakhs. Young Gun Laksh Pal Singh, the newly minted PokerBaazi Team pro and champion of ‘The Circuit’ Season 1, was the runner-up in the WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo, netting ₹5.85 Lakhs from the same deal. Singh’s winning ways continued as he cashed in five more events, accumulating ₹6.72 Lakhs in total winnings. Dharmesh Jain, who finished third, earned ₹4.97 Lakhs from the deal – his second-best score on PokerBaazi – pushing him back into profitability on the platform.
Other WPT India Online champions included ‘AilaGaya,’ who triumphed in the WPT#42 Bounty (PLO6 – PKO) for ₹5.60 Lakhs, and three-time POY Young Gun Gaurav Sood, who conquered the WPT#41 MegaStack for ₹4.50 Lakhs, achieving a hat-trick of WPT Online victories.
Poker veteran Dhaval Mudgal, riding high from his Big Whale victory last Sunday, continued his winning ways by taking down the Adda52 Millions for ₹4.89 Lakhs. Mudgal also made waves with final table finishes in Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter and Pocket52’s Pocket Kings, along with two more cashes. By the end of Sunday, his winnings had swelled to a stunning ₹8.30 Lakhs. ‘puchu91‘ made a name for themselves with a second-place finish in the Adda52 Millions, scoring a site-best ₹3.62 Lakhs – almost nine times their previous best – and sending their platform profits sky-high.
Over at Pocket52, ‘dardedisco‘ reigned supreme in the Pocket Kings, taking home ₹4.20 Lakhs.
Lavesh Meena, the multi-format expert from Jaipur, delivered another spectacular performance with a decisive win in Junglee Poker’s Sunday Special Knockout – his second in this event this year. He claimed ₹2.42 Lakhs, including ₹1.40 Lakhs in bounties. With two more deep runs, Meena’s Sunday earnings reached ₹3.77 Lakhs.
The day also witnessed standout victories from other notable players. Devashish Jain, Anmol Narang, Sreeharsha Boneni, Tejas Joshi, and Penjo Wangchuk all left their mark on the other Sunday marquees!
Here are the Sunday highlights!

The second Sunday at the ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online series was pure poker pandemonium! Day 8 of this groundbreaking year-end series – a collaboration between poker giants WPT and PokerBaazi – unleashed six thrilling events with a jaw-dropping ₹4.55 Crores in guaranteed prizes and two coveted WPT Online trophies up for grabs.
But the real story unfolded in the ₹2 Crores GTD WPT#44 Mini Main, where the excitement reached fever pitch. With a ₹10,000 buy-in, this second-biggest guaranteed event at the ongoing WPT India Online series clocked in a staggering 2,177 entries across four starting flights, leading to a fierce Day 2 showdown between 264 contenders (one stack was removed due to the best stack forward format).
And then came the twist no one saw coming. Meghalaya-based player ‘Pokerman84,’ who had only been playing on the platform for two months, emerged as the champion! They outlasted the fierce competition in the 8 PM finale after a gripping 6-hour battle, claiming their first-ever title on the platform, a mind-blowing ₹30 Lakhs payday (over 68 times their previous best score!), and the coveted WPT trophy. This incredible victory also made them the third-biggest winner of the day, trailing only Natural8 India crusher and current POY #1 Tarun Goyal, who hit a historic ₹5 Crore mystery bounty jackpot and another Natural8 India sensation, ‘dontraiseplz.’

Meanwhile, Mumbai’s Nishant ‘rektace’ Kumar, The MoneyMaker 72.0 champion from April, nearly ended a five-month title drought in grand fashion. He finished as the WPT#44 Mini Main runner-up, taking home a career-best ₹17.14 Lakhs – his fourth seven-figure score.
Kumar picked up another small score in the WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo, finishing 125th for ₹8,487. His total winnings for the day exceeded ₹17.22 Lakhs, enough to land him the #4 spot on the Sunday scorecard!
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#44 Mini Main for ₹17,14,000
> 125th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo for ₹8,487
The WPT#44 Mini Main final table also saw strong finishes by Harsh ‘100crdream’ Dembla (3rd for ₹13.20 Lakhs), 2022 POY profit leaderboard topper Sahil ‘bluffme19’ Chutani (4th for ₹10 Lakhs), ‘shawkingman’ (5th for ₹7.60 Lakhs), poker veteran Akash ‘UtgWithUrMOM’ Malik (6th for ₹5.50 Lakhs), Mandar ‘MAMA04’ Madaye (7th for ₹3.80 Lakhs), and Adda52 Game Ambassador Arun ‘vazharmorghulis’ Sriram (8th for ₹2.40 Lakhs).

With a ₹10,000 buy-in, the WPT#44 Mini Main fell ₹10.69 Lakhs short of its ambitious guarantee. But that didn’t dampen the excitement – the ₹2 Crores prize pool was still shared amongst the top 264 warriors with a min-cash worth ₹20,000! WPT India Online continues to be the place to be for any poker player looking for thrills and value, and the final week promises even more excitement.

PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online series just keeps getting hotter! The second Sunday of action saw two prestigious WPT Online trophies awarded for the first time in the series, alongside a jaw-dropping ₹4.55 Crores in guaranteed prizes across six events. While the ₹2 Crores GTD WPT#44 Mini Main finale held everyone’s attention, the ₹1 Crore GTD WPT#43 Milestone, starting at 7 PM, also brought the heat.
With its staggering eight-figure prize pool guarantee, this Sunday headliner attracted a stacked field of 664 players, generating 1,124 entries with re-entries. After a marathon nine hours and 41 minutes of intense play, a player with the deceptively simple name ‘Noob’ emerged as the champion. But don’t let the moniker fool you; this PokerBaazi regular, who’s been grinding on the platform since June of last year, is a formidable player in their own right.
‘Noob’ had already tasted victory in PokerBaazi’s 1000X#26 in September, proving their ability to handle the heat in high-pressure tournaments. They’ve been a constant threat in PokerBaazi’s flagship events, and their dedication finally paid off massively. Firing just one bullet in the WPT#43 Milestone, ‘Noob’ went on a rampage, snagging a career-best ₹15 Lakhs and the prestigious WPT Online trophy – joining the elite group of trophy winners in this series. This monster win, over 8.5 times their previous best score, catapulted them back into the profit zone with a vengeance!
Noob’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹23.47 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹7.11 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #2
But the excitement didn’t end there. Anirban ‘pottysingh’ D Das, the poker prodigy who made Indian poker history with his incredible 16th-place finish in the 2024 WSOP Main Event, decided to grace the online felts after a two-month hiatus. And boy, did he make a splash! Returning to the online grind specifically for the weekend flagships on PokerBaazi, he proceeded to rack up an astounding ₹10.53 Lakhs across four deep runs, and his most impressive feat was a stunning runner-up finish in the WPT#43 Milestone.
Das battled like a champion on a mission, relentlessly firing six bullets in the WPT#43 Milestone before finally locking up a ₹9.20 Lakhs payday. While he narrowly missed out on his first WPT trophy, this score represents his biggest online cash of 2024 and his third-biggest ever. And just to prove it wasn’t a fluke, he also crashed the final table of the Adda52 Millions, finishing sixth for an extra ₹1.08 Lakhs, joining the group of poker millionaires minted last night!
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#43 Milestone for ₹9,20,000
> 6th in Adda52 Millions for ₹1,08,263
> 75th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo for ₹13,261

Even with all the excitement, the WPT#43 Milestone fell a nominal ₹2.26 Lakhs short of its ambitious ₹1 Crore guarantee, making it an even sweeter deal for those who cashed. The top 169 finishers all took home at least ₹17,000, a fantastic return on their ₹10,000 investment, making it a profitable Sunday for many players on PokerBaazi and keeping the WPT India Online fire burning bright.

Day 8 of PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online saw the virtual felt heat up as a young poker prodigy, POY#8 Satyam ‘satyamverma25’ Verma, finally stepped back into the spotlight.
Verma, a retained pro for Lucknow Kings at the Pocket52 Poker Sports League Season 6, is a name that needs no introduction in the Indian poker circuit. With a string of outstanding results, including a #3 finish on the May leaderboard and four titles in July, Verma is a constant threat whenever he sits down at the virtual tables.
He might not have had a title win for over three weeks since his WTF victory in November, but Verma has been far from idle. He quietly amassed six final table appearances during that time, even snagging back-to-back sixth-place finishes in the WPT#1 Deepstack Opener and WPT#25 HighRoller just last week. But yesterday, he was determined to go all the way!
The ₹50 Lakh GTD WPT#39 Monsterstack was an absolute bloodbath. 796 players, from a whopping 1,620 total entries, all fighting tooth and nail for that top spot. The energy was electric, and the competition was fierce. But Verma remained calm under pressure, playing with a mix of skill, guts, and a little bit of poker magic. And after an intense nine-hour battle, he emerged as the champion.
This win – his first WPT title and at least his 15th this year – landed him a massive ₹7.50 Lakh prize. That shot him straight to #5 on the WPT India Online Series Leaderboard, with a killer 7,270 points and cash finishes in 25 out of the 41 WPT Online tournaments he’s played.
Verma’s success wasn’t confined to the WPT#39 Monsterstack. He also ran deep in four more events, and his total Friday winnings soared to a scorching ₹8.10 Lakhs, pushing him past the ₹4 Crore mark in tracked online winnings this year!
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s WPT#39 Monsterstack for ₹7,50,000
> 72nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#43 Milestone for ₹28,000
> 48th in Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter for ₹15,763

Nirbheek ‘noobboob23’ Biswas, a sporadic player who’s been active since April last year and is known for winning the NPS#17 Slamdunk gold and NPS#55 Sunday Slamdunk silver medals (a previous site-best score) earlier this year, also had a remarkable performance. He finished as the runner-up in the WPT#39 Monsterstack, taking home an impressive ₹4 Lakhs—his second-best score to date—and giving his bankroll a serious boost.
Nirbheek Biswas’ PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹34.27 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹4.18 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #1
Last week’s WPT#14 Mini Championship and WPT#20 Superstack podium finisher Kashish ‘BeeTa03’ Gupta had to settle for third place again in the WPT#39 Monsterstack – his third podium finish in this series. He earned ₹3.10 Lakhs and climbed to #12 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online leaderboard. Recent WPT#13 (PLO-5) podium finisher Shivam ‘daddyaddy’ Kumar Dubey (4th for ₹2.40 Lakhs) and last night’s WPT#41 Megastack runner-up Varun ‘Vg_007’ Gulati (7th for ₹1.13 Lakhs) also made it to the WPT#39 Monsterstack final table.
With a significant ₹7.73 Lakhs overlay, the ₹3,000 buy-in WPT#39 Monsterstack offered incredible value. The top 252 players finished in the money, each taking home at least ₹6,500—doubling their investment and adding another exciting chapter to the ongoing WPT India Online saga.

Day 8 of PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online was a scorcher, and right in the thick of it was online poker stalwart Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta (opted out of our tracking), who turned his birthday into a victory celebration with a dominant win in the ₹50 Lakhs GTD WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo—the final WPT Online event of the night.
Mehta is known for his relentless grind schedule and uncanny ability to make deep runs. November saw him racking up final table appearances and near misses like it was his job (which it likely is): runner-up finishes in the Daily Last Chance and WTF, back-to-back podium, and another runner-up finish in Natural8 India’s Bounty Forty Stack, and yet another podium finish in PokerBaazi’s WTF. He was so close to that title, but it kept slipping away. December was a new month, a new mission. He kicked it off with a podium finish in the WPT#37 (PLO-5) HighRoller on Saturday, but last night was when the magic happened.
Mehta jumped into the 8:30 PM flagship event, a fast-paced turbo tourney with 1,220 entries (677 unique). The guarantee-crushing turnout saw the battle stretching for over seven hours, the pressure mounting with every hand as the field thinned. The turbo format meant things were changing constantly, but Mehta stayed sharp, playing with ice in his veins. And when the smoke cleared, he was the last man standing, grabbing the ₹5.63 Lakhs top prize after a three-way deal. This was his first title in over three months, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. To top it off, he made a deep run in the WPT#41 Megastack, boosting his Sunday winnings to at least ₹5.68 Lakhs!
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo for ₹5,62,974* (three-way deal)
> 96th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#41 Megastack for ₹5,100
The WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo also saw an incredible performance from Young Gun Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Pal Singh. Riding high on his victory in Adda52’s The Mint a few weeks ago, this new PokerBaazi Team pro and champion of ‘The Circuit’ Season 1 was hungry for his 10th online win of the year and his first-ever WPT Online title. He came so close! Singh finished as the runner-up, adding a massive ₹5.85 Lakhs to his bankroll from the deal—his second-best score on PokerBaazi this year. Singh went on to crush it in five more events, cashing in four other WPT Online tournaments and racking up a stunning ₹6.72 Lakhs in Sunday winnings!
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo for ₹5,84,532* (three-way deal)
> 40th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#43 Milestone for ₹40,000
> 112nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#44 Mini Main for ₹30,000
> 71st in PokerBaazi’s WPT#42 Bounty (PLO6-PKO) for ₹7,500
> 99th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#41 Megastack for ₹5,100
> 56th in Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick for ₹4,946
Laksh Pal Singh’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹17.18 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹6.87 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #9 | Annual Winnings: ₹69.52 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹29.17 Lakhs
Dharmesh ‘Rajkumar0908’ Jain, who had a killer runner-up finish in July’s The Endeavour, was back in action in the WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo. He fired two bullets and finished in third place, taking home a cool ₹4.97 Lakhs from the deal. That’s his second-best score on PokerBaazi, and it put him back in the black on the platform!
Dharmesh Jain’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹31.20 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹67,468 | Annual Winnings: ₹27.40 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹4.19 Lakhs
The WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo final table was packed with players riding high on recent success, including last week’s WPT#4 Milestone and Blockbuster Highroller runner-up Tharun ‘Whodahellru’ Darapu (4th for ₹2.76 Lakhs), last week’s WPT#9 Warm-Up finalist Rohit ‘rocky9971’ Goel (6th for ₹1.70 Lakhs), and recent Godfather podium finisher on a roll Aditya ‘KesarDa’ Kesharwani (7th for ₹1,29,962).
Unlike some of the other big WPT Online tournaments last night, the ₹5,000 buy-in WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo absolutely crushed its guarantee, generating an eyebrow-raising ₹53.05 Lakhs prize pool. With 184 players making it into the money, even a min-cash was worth a solid ₹8,487. This event was a perfect example of the thrilling action and fierce competition that WPT India Online is all about, drawing players from all over for a shot at glory in a fast-paced and rewarding showdown.

Some tunes fade away, but true class keeps the beat going strong. In the world of online poker, Young Gun Gaurav ‘gau17’ Sood from Gurugram is a legend, a headlining sax player at the midnight show. Once a dentist wielding drills and probes, he’s now a poker virtuoso, leaving opponents in awe. With three Player of the Year titles under his belt, he carries himself like a bandleader who’s got nothing left to prove but still loves to jam.
He might have been laying low lately, focusing on other gigs—like his appearances on PokerBaazi’s “The Circuit.” But when you’ve already released a string of platinum hits, taking a break from the studio doesn’t mean you’ve lost your touch. Sood’s got that kind of natural rhythm that never goes out of style.
And just when many thought he might be slowing down, he exploded back onto the scene with another WPT India Online masterclass. In just five days, he’s snatched three WPT Online titles—starting with wins in WPT#11 Megastack and WPT#18 (5-Max) Hyper—and then last night, he added PokerBaazi’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT#41 Megastack to his collection like a killer new single. This latest victory not only makes him the first player in the series to bag three WPT Online titles, but it`s also his 11th first-place finish of the year on the platform and his 22nd for 2024. With this performance, he storms into the #2 spot on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online leaderboard (7,921 points) after a steady stream of 21 cashes across 36 tournaments!
The 3:30 PM WPT#41 Megastack drew 1,149 entries (637 unique), all hoping to find the right rhythm with their cards. The tempo moved fast even though players started deep, and after eight hours of intense play, Sood walked away with a cool ₹4.50 Lakhs and another WPT Online title to add to his trophy case.
But that was just the opening act. The former NPS#92 HighRoller champion and 1000X#30 (7-Max) Friday Prime winner also took a seat at Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter final table, adding another ₹1.07 Lakhs to his winnings with a fifth-place finish. He kept the momentum going, picking up a few more cashes along the way. By the time the night was over, his total haul for the evening was a sweet ₹7 Lakhs—a fitting encore for a player who keeps hitting the high notes long after others have left the stage. He’s cementing his legacy as arguably the country’s most accomplished online MTT player (though Tarun Goyal is making a strong case for that title)!
>1st in PokerBaazi’s WPT#41 Megastack for ₹4,50,000
> 5th in Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter for ₹1,07,230
> 32nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#44 Mini Main for ₹92,000
> 13th in Adda52 Millions for ₹37,762
> 121st in PokerBaazi’s WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo for ₹8,487
> 71st in Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick for ₹4,946
Gaurav Sood’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹22.41 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹11.54 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #22 | Annual Winnings: ₹2.75 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹1.17 Crores | Ranked #20 in the 2024 Leaderboard Standings (Total Cashes) | Moves to #2 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online Leaderboard
But WPT#41 Megastack wasn’t a solo performance. Another formidable player, Varun ‘Vg_007’ Gulati, the APT Online India Main Event champion from 2022, was also looking to make some noise. He last won The Endeavour Lite in January and was eager to break his almost 11-month title drought after a relentless string of near misses. He battled to a strong runner-up finish, taking home an annual-best ₹2.76 Lakhs.

They say good things come to those who wait, and boy, did ‘AilaGaya‘ prove that in style! This online grinder, who prefers to fly under the radar (anonymity requested and opted out of our tracking), finally hit the jackpot in PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD WPT#42 Bounty (PLO6 – PKO) last night!
This player has been on a serious heater lately, snagging a second-place finish in the WPT#22 Bounty (PLO4 – PKO) on Thursday and following it up with a fifth-place finish in the WPT#27 Deepstack on Friday. But they reached the summit last night, planting their flag firmly on top of the poker mountain.
In the 5:30 PM PKO flagship event, ‘AilaGaya’ battled through a formidable assembly of 418 other players (940 total entries) in the first of three PLO6 tournaments on the WPT India Online series schedule. Despite the bounty format, the action was a marathon, lasting a gruelling eight hours and 49 minutes. But when the final hand was dealt, ‘AilaGaya’ emerged as the champion, taking home a massive ₹5.60 Lakhs in first-place prize money, including a hefty ₹1.85 Lakhs in bounties. Ka-ching!
With this victory and two more WPT Online cashes, ‘AilaGaya’ raked in at least ₹5.86 Lakhs for the night, rocketing to #16 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online leaderboard.

Pandya fired three bullets in the WPT#42 Bounty (PLO6 – PKO) and came close to taking it down. Ultimately, he finished as the runner-up, earning a respectable ₹2.86 Lakhs (₹37,297 in bounties) – his third-biggest score of 2024 and his fifth-biggest overall.

Some players just have that “it” factor, that undeniable talent that makes them shine on the biggest stages. Lavesh ‘magicodds98’ Meena, the multi-format maestro from Jaipur, is one of those players. He’s got the kind of groove that keeps him in the spotlight, and after closing out November with a string of top finishes—including victories in Pocket52’s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo and Junglee Poker’s Thursday PLO-4 Mini Highroller—he stepped right back into the limelight last night and delivered another show-stopping performance in Junglee Poker’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special Knockout.
This latest win adds another trophy to his already overflowing collection. The man seems ready for anything, switching seamlessly between Omaha and Hold’em, dominating both formats like a bandleader switching instruments mid-set, leaving the crowd nodding along each time. And this isn’t his first rodeo in this particular event. Back on October 6, he took down the VS#18 Sunday Special KO, which still stands as his most memorable personal score on the platform.
Over the last seven months, his story on Junglee Poker would turn even the stiffest audience into head-boppers. Seven titles, three second-place finishes, and a string of final tables that stretch longer than a sax player’s late-night improvisation. This is a man who knows how to keep the tempo hot and the audience locked in.
Starting at 7:30 PM, the Sunday Special Knockout was packed with 305 hopefuls ready for a long, hard jam session. Nearly nine hours passed before the dust settled, and when the final card hit the table, Meena was the one left holding that spotlight. That top spot paid out a sweet ₹2.42 Lakhs, flavoured by a bold bounty portion worth ₹1.40 Lakhs. Just another night where he turned the poker tables into his personal stage.
He also came within a whisker of winning Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter, finishing fourth for ₹1.30 Lakhs. Throw in another deep run in PokerBaazi’s WPT#41 Megastack (106th for ₹5,100); Meena’s Sunday performance was worth a thunderous round of applause and over ₹3.77 Lakhs in winnings!
Lavesh Meena’s online stats (excluding Junglee Poker, PokerStars India and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹3.75 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.11 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #11 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.35 Crores | Annual Profit: ₹34.42 Lakhs
Adding to the excitement, the mysterious ‘missdreavous’ put on quite a show. Building on a final table finish in last Sunday’s Blockbuster Knockout, they came agonizingly close to victory once again, this time finishing second for a platform-best ₹1.30 Lakhs, including ₹28,008 in bounties. Though victory eluded them, their upward trajectory is one to watch.
Of course, we can’t forget about the other online talents who made deep runs in the Sunday Special Knockout, like the old-timer Jaideep ‘NNomadas’ Sajwan (6th for ₹55,531) (₹23,125 in bounties) and POY#13 JaiKiran ‘ZEEKE777’ Kumar (7th for ₹34,083) (₹9,531 in bounties).
The ₹5,750 buy-in Sunday Special Knockout smashed its guarantee by ₹25,000, creating a total ₹15.25 Lakhs prize pool and giving players even more value. With 34 players getting paid and those juicy bounties on every knockout, it was an action-packed Sunday that kept the thrills and rewards coming from start to finish!

Fresh off a breakout victory in the Big Whale last Sunday, Mudgal added another masterpiece to his repertoire on Adda52 by conquering the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Millions!
Mudgal battled for nearly 8.5 hours against a field of 126 top-tier players (239 total entries) in this signature 9 PM Sunday flagship event. When the dust settled, he emerged as the champion, adding a hefty ₹4.89 Lakhs to his bankroll. This was his first victory in this particular Sunday showdown and his second online title of the year, both coming on back-to-back Sundays—a clear indication he’s at the peak of his powers.
But Mudgal wasn’t done filling his pockets just yet. He also made final table runs in Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter and Pocket52’s Pocket Kings and even snuck into the money in two other events, bringing his total Sunday winnings to an incredible ₹8.30 Lakhs.

The ₹11,500 buy-in Adda52 Millions fell just a tad short of its advertised ₹25 Lakhs guarantee by ₹1.10 Lakhs, making it an even sweeter deal for the top 35 finishers, who all walked away with at least ₹23,943. Devashish ‘007.devashish’ Jain has been a familiar face on Adda52 since March 2018, steadily climbing the poker ladder. But this year, he’s not just climbing; he’s blasting off like a rocket! Last night, he proved it again by conquering the ₹22 Lakhs GTD Sunday Head Hunter for the first time, etching his name among the standout Sunday champions on the platform!
Jain is no stranger to the Sunday Head Hunter. He’s tasted the thrill of the final table before, during the DPT Edition just last month. That experience lit a fire under him, leading to five final table appearances, including a nail-biting second-place finish in the Voyager. Then, earlier this month, Jain shattered a nine-month title drought with a resounding victory in Spartan Poker’s Supreme.
But Jain wasn’t about to slow down. Ten days later, he is back in the winner’s circle, this time in the Sunday Head Hunter, an 8 PM flagship tournament known for its cutthroat competition. He faced a stacked field of 383 entries (210 unique), each hungry for the title. For over 7.5 hours, the battle raged on. With the focus of a seasoned pro and the tenacity of a hungry newcomer, Jain navigated the ups and downs of the tournament, eventually emerging as the champion. He walked away with a personal-best ₹3.81 Lakhs, including a hefty ₹1.54 Lakhs in bounties. Jain’s Sunday hot streak also included deep runs in two more events, bringing his total winnings for the night to over ₹3.91 Lakhs!
> 1st in Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter for ₹3,81,020* (₹1,54,007 in bounties)
> 15th in Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick for ₹8,388
> 33rd in PokerBaaz’s (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹1,950
Devashish Jain’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.19 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹20.18 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #3
In the final heads-up showdown, Jain faced off against Young Gun Hardik ‘hardiknair1999’ Nair. Nair has been flying under the radar lately and was looking for a breakout performance. He made a great effort, but Jain proved unstoppable. But Nair didn’t walk away empty-handed. He earned a runner-up payday of ₹2.30 Lakhs, including ₹63,465 in bounties. This was his highest score on Adda52 and eighth-best overall this year. Adding to his successful Sunday grind, Nair also made a deep run in PokerBaazi’s WPT#43 Milestone, boosting his total winnings for the day to almost ₹2.90 Lakhs.
> 2nd in Adda52’s Sunday Head Hunter for ₹2,29,865* (₹63,465 in bounties)
> 30th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#43 Milestone for ₹60,000
Hardik Nair’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹3.94 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.32 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #17 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.69 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹44.24 Lakhs
The Sunday Head Hunter final table was a shark tank brimming with stalwarts, including last night`s Adda52 Millions champion Dhaval ‘dirtyzoso’ Mudgal (3rd for ₹1.53 Lakhs), yesterday’s Sunday Special Knockout winner Lavesh ‘UPay4MyWeed98’ Meena (4th for ₹1.30 Lakhs), last night’s WPT#41 Megastack winner, Young Gun Gaurav ‘BuildPuntOK’ Sood (5th for ₹1.07 Lakhs), last week’s WPT#22 Bounty (PLO4-PKO) finalist POY#5 Advait ‘ronaldinho018’ Rajguru (7th for ₹49,742), and recent Big Whale and Sunday Big Slick finalist Abhimanyu ‘PsychoDrama’ Mittal (8th for ₹38,934).
The ₹5,750 buy-in Sunday Head Hunter might have missed its advertised guarantee by ₹5.06 Lakhs, but it was a fantastic opportunity for the 62 players who cashed. With a min-cash of ₹10,450, the event offered solid returns, but the real highlight was the bounty format. Each knockout added extra cash to players’ pockets, fueling aggressive play and intense battles. The action was non-stop, making it a thrilling Sunday night on Adda52 for everyone involved.

Anmol ‘ace10’ Narang is on fire! This former The Millionaire champion, the same guy you see in those catchy Junglee Poker ads, just added another trophy to his overflowing cabinet. This time, Adda52’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Sunday Big Slick fell victim to his poker prowess, earning him a cool ₹1.71 Lakhs after a heads-up deal.
Narang has been on a tear lately, a resurgence that kicked off in September with back-to-back victories in PokerBaazi’s 1000X#6 and Daily Super Value. He hit a bit of a dry spell after that, filled with deep runs and near misses, but December has been a whole different story. He started the month by taking down Summit Lite and followed it up just four days later with a victory in Adda52’s Maverick. With this latest conquest, it’s clear that Narang is determined to end the year with a bang.
This Sunday victory was extra special. It was his first-ever win in the Sunday Big Slick! A stacked field of 473 hopefuls (246 unique) jumped into the 7 PM flagship event, all dreaming of taking home the title. But Narang, with the heart of a lion and the focus of a hawk, expertly navigated the tournament’s twists and turns. He battled, strategized, and outmanoeuvred his opponents for over seven hours, ultimately claiming the crown. This win wasn’t just another feather in his cap; it was his seventh-best score on Adda52, landing comfortably within his top ten payouts for the year.
Anmol Narang’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.42 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹54.73 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #7 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.48 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹15.26 Lakhs
Ganesh ‘ganesh24’ Durgade, a fierce mid-stakes grinder, also put on a show last night. Fresh off a final table appearance in the Head Shot Bounty the night before, he carried that momentum into the Sunday Big Slick. Durgade was a force to be reckoned with, building his stack and going toe-to-toe with the best of the best. While he narrowly missed out on the top spot, he still walked away with a hefty ₹1.54 Lakhs from a heads-up deal—his fifth-best score this year.
And just to add to his already impressive Sunday haul, Durgade also made a deep run in PokerBaazi’s WPT#42 Bounty (PLO6-PKO), bringing his total winnings for the day to over ₹1.60 Lakhs and finally hitting ₹3 Crores in tracked online winnings.
> 2nd in Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick for ₹1,53,536* (heads-up deal)
> 106th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#42 Bounty (PLO6-PKO) for ₹6,250
Ganesh Durgade’s online stats (Adda52 and PokerBaazi): Lifetime Winnings: ₹3 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹36.13 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #14 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.24 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹17.81 Lakhs
The Sunday Big Slick final table was stacked with familiar faces, including last week’s Freeze Out Adda podium finisher Satya ‘Comedypoker’ Pal Verma (3rd for ₹1.01 Lakhs), recent WPT#21 Turbo finalist Varun ‘omniknight’ Meena (4th for ₹73,779), last month’s Daily Last Chance finalist Sachit ‘happyyhigh’ Malik (6th for ₹39,640), last week’s Pocket Magnets podium finisher Shagun ‘sogani94’ Jain (7th for ₹29,056), and Jitesh ‘Jiteshamritkar’ Amritkar (8th for ₹21,298).
The Sunday Big Slick, with its affordable ₹2,500 buy-in, continues to be a fan favourite—and it’s easy to see why. This week, the prize pool swelled to a massive ₹10.41 Lakhs, giving players a real shot at a big score. Even those who didn’t make the final table walked away with a decent payday, as the top 71 finishers each earned at least ₹4,988. It was a profitable Sunday for many, and the action on the Adda52 felts was hotter than ever!
