Wow, talk about a blockbuster Sunday! With a full schedule of Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series 5.0 tournaments and India’s biggest online poker tournament – PokerBaazi’s ₹7 Crores GTD G.O.A.T commencing, poker players were treated to some high-octane action.
The SCS Main Event champion Tarush Gupta closed out October with a bang, accumulating a jaw-dropping ₹22.98 Lakhs from three deep runs. He won the FTS Gold Medallion in Spartan Poker`s FTS #21 Supreme (1st for ₹20.07 Lakhs) and another podium finish in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack (3rd for 2.73 Lakhs).

Last week’s BSS SuperStack champion, Mohammad Azhar, pulled out another electrifying Sunday run, reeling in ₹14.23 Lakhs. He most notably took down Spartan Poker’s FTS #18 Sunday Special for ₹11.33 Lakhs, clinching his second FTS Gold Medallion and a seat on The Master Table. 2020 India Poker Champion Rubin Labroo finished runner-up for ₹7.18 Lakhs (won ₹8.17 Lakhs overall).
Samay Singh Modi kept his heater going by championing Spartan Poker’s FTS #20 Sunday Big (6 Max)! Myron Pereira (Won ₹10 Lakhs GTD FTS #16 for ₹1.85 Lakhs), ‘Nahihorha’ (Won ₹10 Lakhs GTD FTS #19 for ₹1.96 Lakhs), and ‘chudail92’ (Won ₹6 Lakhs GTD FTS #17 Triple Chance ₹1.27 Lakhs) won the other FTS Silver Medallions on Sunday.
The FTS #3 Thursday Special champion Vaibhav Sharma nailed PokerStars India’s EPT Prague Step 3 Qualifier, winning a package worth ₹6 Lakhs, including the Main Event buy-in worth ₹4.22 Lakhs and ₹1.78 Lakhs towards traveling and accommodation expenses. Poker coach Mithun Mahesh lost the package in a swingy heads-up match, netting ₹50,000.
Sandy Lamba cracked open a month-long dry spell by taking down the Adda52 Millions for a site-best ₹6.92 Lakhs (won ₹7.49 Lakhs overall). Tharun Kumar Darapu pocketed ₹4.12 Lakhs as the runner-up.
Ten days after nailing The Summit, Amit Kaushik left a 256-player field in PokerBaazi’s BSS HighRoller stupefied as he won the Sunday tournament for ₹6.02 Lakhs (₹6.70 Lakhs overall). Goonjan Mall finished runner-up for ₹4.23 Lakhs.
The NPS HighRoller champion Sumit Sapra broke a 45-day-long title drought yesterday, taking down Adda52’s Mega Suits for ₹5.38 Lakhs (won ₹5.98 Lakhs overall). He struck a heads-up deal with MPL Poker Team Pro Siddharth Karia (2nd for ₹4.37 Lakhs).
