It`s been a relatively busy week with MPL Poker’s India Poker Festival and Adda52’s Beat the Heat series turning up the heat. And Sunday witnessed high-octane action!

However, non-stop action awaits online MTT players with the India Online Poker Championship, 1100 Texas Hold’em Championship, and Summer Series, all set to commence this week!

Returning to the Sunday headlines, Rahul ‘HIMKIR69’ Nischal walked away with the fattest paycheque as they championed the only eight-figure guaranteed event running on Adda52, the ₹1 Crore GTD BTH Main Event for ₹16.70 Lakhs. Vishal Tulsyan (2nd for ₹12.01 Lakhs) and IPC Megastacks ₹15K Mystery Bounty third-place finisher Avijit Jaiswal (3rd for ₹8.63 Lakhs) made away with the other hefty scores.

MPL Poker`s ₹50 Lakhs GTD IPF #5 Mini Main Event was another Sunday headliner! The former The Millionaire winner Sreekanth Narayan grabbed the top honors and a seven-figure payday worth ₹10 Lakhs. Nangare Vinayak Baban (2nd for ₹6.05 Lakhs) & Atrij Singhal (3rd for ₹3.80 Lakhs) secured podium finishes!

Pushpa Khandelwal shipped the other IPF headliner, IPF #4, for ₹5.25 Lakhs, with Rajiv Kumar walking away with ₹3.50 Lakhs in second place.

Kunal Vohra came out on top in Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack and won the Sunday headliner for ₹7.87 Lakhs. Deepak Raina lapped up ₹5.30 Lakhs as the runner-up.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Munot, one of two Indians on the WPT Prime Vietnam Main Event FT, took down the Destiny 23.0 SNG Finale to win a Las Vegas package worth ₹5 Lakhs.

Gautam Bansal won PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for ₹5.34 Lakhs after outlasting Rishabh Choudhary (2nd for ₹3.74 Lakhs) in the heads-up finale.

PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun Mahesh took down PokerStars India’s Sunday Highroller (On-time Rake Refund) for the second time last night for ₹2.42 Lakhs.

Tanay Parekh, Arunkumar Singh, Kunal Grover, Aarchit Dhadwal, Vinay Verma, Surbhit Grover, Suneeth Kalmady, Ashish Kumar, and Vijay Pandit won the other Sunday majors.

It was a massive Sunday on MPL Poker, with the fast-growing site hosting the IPF #5 Mini Main Event finale last night. The 50 Lakhs GTD event happens to be the biggest guaranteed event hosted by the site to date.

The event clocked in 990 entries over four starting flights, and 90 survivors reconvened last night to play down to a champion. Adda52’s first-ever 5 Crores GTD Beat The Heat series wound down to a close last night with the series’ showstopper, 1 Crore GTD BTH Main Event, playing down to a winner. The 7,500 buy-in event registered a 1,401-strong field across five starting flights (Day 1A – 186, Day 1B – 186, Day 1C Turbo – 160, Day 1D – 249, and Day 1E – 620), and 165 among them returned to play the Day 2 Finale at 10 PM last night.

Last Sunday’s BTH Mojito runner-up finisher, Rahul ‘HIMKIR69’ Nischal, did one better this Sunday as he won the BTH Main Event for a career-best 16.70 Lakhs and their first title on the site. Vishal ‘amarkhatri999’ Tulsyan (opted out of our tracking) (2nd for 12.01 lakhs) and Avijit ‘avijitjazz93’ Jaiswal (3rd for 8.63 Lakhs) secured podium finishes.

The champion ‘HIMKIR69’ also cashed the BTH Sunday Madness (50th for 8,088), collectively adding 16.78 Lakhs, making them the day’s top winner.
