The digital felts were buzzing with excitement on Sunday as several prominent platforms hosted thrilling tournaments. From Spartan Poker’s India Turbo Masters 4.0 naming nine champions to PokerBaazi’s highly anticipated Indian Micro Poker Series Gold Edition debuting seven tournaments, players had an action-packed day. However, Pocket52 faced technical glitches, forcing them to reschedule its Pocket Poker Championship evening tournaments to Monday.
The spotlight, however, was on PokerBaazi’s ₹5 Crores GTD EndBoss Special Edition. The tenth and final qualifier on Sunday brought the total entries to an incredible 10,128, creating a prize pool of ₹5.06 Crores. Despite the decision to halve the buy-in to ₹5,500, PokerBaazi still hit a home run with the event, registering the maximum participants for this buy-in. The tournament ended with Haider Madraswala bagging the coveted title after a long battle that continued into the early hours of Monday.
Madraswala, who battled among the 860 finalists on Day 2 of EndBoss, secured his first title in a month through a three-way deal, walking away with a personal record cash prize of ₹68.48 Lakhs.
