June 3 turned out to be another massive Sunday for online tournament players thanks to several high value events that played out across domestic poker sites. Despite the fact that WSOP 2018 has scooped the poker limelight, our poker buffs turned up in huge numbers to battle for the BIG money.
‘Unstoppable’ is a term that best describes WSOP bracelet winner Aditya ‘gangajal’ Sushant given his present form on the virtual felts before the big summer grind in Las Vegas. This Sunday, he won the BSS ₹15 Lakhs GTD for ₹3 Lakhs on PokerBaazi. Besides Sushant, Mahesh ‘poque17’ Singhal took down the BSS ₹5 Lakhs GTD event for ₹1.19 Lakhs, PokerBaazi Team pro Jasven ‘JasvenSaigal’ Saigal took top honors in the BSS ₹1 Lakhs PLO event, while ‘Veggiechatora’ won the BSS ₹1 Lakh GTD Turbo Freezeout event.
On PokerStars India, ‘abhi58’ won the Sunday Stars for ₹1.90 Lakhs and ‘3betPanda’ claimed the Sunday Stars event title.
Over to MadOverPoker, ‘rahul99’ was crowned the Hysteria champion while ‘pokpok’ took home ₹45,760 for first place in this Sunday’s Dynamite. Meanwhile, Kunal ‘pinguv’ Vaswani, Bopulkar ‘Naamaikyahai’ Praful, Deepak ‘Pokerchess’ Durga and Saksham ‘Razorfish’ Sharma hit the 3 ITM`s (in-the-money) milestone this week.
Another notable performance came from Ashish Ahuja, who made two final table finishes last Sunday.
