He netted an overall score of ₹19.84 Lakhs last night!

The Millionaire runner-up Ashish Munot persisted with his sublime form as he bagged an impressive ₹11.12 Lakhs for his efforts. The PokerGuru Ambassador presently has ₹5.51 Crores in lifetime online cashes.

Young Gun Gaurav Sood was among the multiple scorers yesterday as he not only the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Millions, but also final tabled the ₹30 Lakhs GTD Mega Suits (4th for ₹2.25 Lakhs) and PokerStars India’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special – Progressive KO (3rd for ₹1.05 Lakhs). Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover was in phenomenal form last night as he clinched his career-first Millionaire title for a whopping ₹13.77 Lakhs, following a three-way deal!

The Delhi-based pro also shipped PokerBaazi’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD BSS SuperStack for ₹4.85 Lakhs and finished fifth for ₹84,627 in PokerStars India’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special – Progressive KO. Grover ended Sunday night with an overall score of ₹19.84 Lakhs. He now has ₹7.28 Crores in online earnings.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Donkey 07’ Munot, who had picked up two FT finishes in IOPC’s The Millionaire Legends and the Super High Roller, was back in the thick of the action. He fell one spot short of the title and had to contend with a runner-up paycheque of ₹11.12 Lakhs.

The former IPC High Roller champion Pranay ‘aankhdikhatahai’ Chawla traversed the field to pocket the ₹3.32 Lakhs (₹1.66 Lakhs in prize money and ₹1.65 Lakhs in bounties) top prize. Online beast Sagar ‘sagarpupull’ Choudhury boosted the runner-up spot for ₹1.53 Lakhs (₹1.23 Lakhs in prize money and ₹30,234 in bounties). This was Chawla’s second title win of February, after he had won PokerBaazi’s ₹12 Lakhs GTD The Endeavour on February 1.

Where the Sunday Special returned to its PKO format, the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Sunday Highroller, also adopted the same format this week. The 7:30 PM event lasted till 2:04 AM, and culminated after crowning a champion in Game Changer 2.0 champion Shagun ‘Sogani22’ Jain. Jain outran ‘infinitesuns’ in the final showdown to bank a ₹3.63 Lakhs (₹1.54 Lakhs in prize money and ₹2.08 Lakhs in bounties) payday. The runner-up received ₹1.43 Lakhs (₹1.14 Lakhs in prize money and ₹28,281 in bounties) for their efforts.

Besides the Sunday Special, the ₹1 Lakh GTD Sunday Supersonic also awarded TLB points towards the ‘Star of the Month’ February leaderboard race. PokerBaazi ran its weekly scheduled events as usual and the highlight tourney was the ₹25 Lakhs GTD BSS SuperStack. Gathering 499 entries, the tournament fell just one entry short of the break-even mark. Young Gun Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover, who is currently ranked #2 on the yearly leaderboard, championed the event for ₹4.85 Lakhs. Out of the three FT cashes he picked up last night, this was Grover’s second title win. He presently has ₹1.92 Crores in site cashes.

Veteran pro Raghav ‘thatssosick’ Bansal came close to clinching the BSS SuperStack title, but ultimately had to settle for a runner-up payout worth ₹3.40 Lakhs.

The BSS MegaStack and the BSS 6-Max Monster were the two ₹5 Lakhs guarantee events that ran its course last night.

The mystery user ‘Sunnyahuja’ took down the BSS MegaStack for ₹3.27 Lakhs, after besting Dinesh ‘Daddu26’ Singh (runner-up for ₹2.29 Lakhs) heads-up. The ₹2,750 buy-in event locked a total of 724 entries that generated a jaw-dropping ₹18.10 Lakhs prize pool! The top 90 finishers received payouts.

The BSS 6-Max Monster was not so lucky as it suffered the same fate as the BSS SuperStack. After clocking in 164 entries, the tournament experienced a ₹90,000 overlay. Making good use of the value on offer, online reg Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall took down the event for ₹7.83 Lakhs, while Myron ‘zzzzz369’ Pereira came in second for ₹4.35 Lakhs. This win has boosted Mall’s overall online earnings to ₹6.14 Crores.

Sunday witnessed the culmination of another edition of Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire that registered 1,850 entries over five starting flights. Most of the sites registered overlays across their events yesterday and The Millionaire had a substantial shortfall of ₹7.5 Lakhs.

Day 2 began at 10 PM with 267 qualifying stacks that included 191 unique players. Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover had made it to Day 2 with two stacks, and he rode his momentum to the finale where he agreed to a three-way deal that won him the title along with a whopping ₹13.77 Lakhs payday.

Grover who was the #2 ranked player in 2020 has made big splashes this year. On January 29 Grover picked his career-best score of ₹30.57 Lakhs after he chopped the IOPC #97 Super High Roller with Sriharsha Doddapaneni. He won two titles last week, including a trailblazing win of the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Big Game for ₹13.77 Lakhs on February 7. All in all, Grover padded his bankroll by ₹19.84 Lakhs, bringing his annual tally to ₹87.72 Lakhs. He has now displaced PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh to take up the #1 spot on the annual leaderboard this year!
