It was another intense Sunday on Spartan Poker, with the site`s flagship The Millionaire playing out Day 2 of yet another edition. Featuring a ₹1 Crore guarantee, the tourney is the first of the four Millionaire editions lined up for February. The event logged in 2,152 entries across five starting flights, but only 322 qualifying stacks, which included 222 unique players, made it to Day 2.

Day 2 took flight at 10 PM on Sunday, and making their way to the top after almost six hours of play was the mystery user ‘EL_Gadafi.’ The unknown player became the latest entrant in the elite “Millionaire`s Club” and pocketed an impressive ₹17.77 Lakhs. Additionally, they also posted a 195th place finish in the event for ₹10,545.

Seasoned pro Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall finished runner-up, netting ₹9.71 Lakhs. He also finished 16th in the tourney for ₹79,516 to storm his way into the 6 Crore-Club” with his lifetime MTT tally crossing ₹6.06 Crores!

Online reg Armaan ‘space ace’ Kochhar rounded out the top three places in the Millionaire, finishing third for ₹6.68 Lakhs. Kochhar scored four times in the tourney, finishing 78th for ₹19,045, 98th for ₹16,355, and 153rd for ₹12,051. He banked an overall ₹7.15 Lakhs. He also placed seventh in the D’lite for ₹20,550, raking in a cumulative ₹7.36 Lakhs last night.

Spartan Poker had a spectacular showing all across as even its other featured Sunday tourney, i.e., the ₹30 Lakhs Lakh Sunday Superstack, crushed its guarantee to collect ₹31.53 Lakhs on the back of 1,051 entries. Taking up the podium for the third time this year was Aniket ‘Ntwadumela’ Waghmare for ₹5.97 Lakhs. Shubham ‘theViperArena’ Chaudhary finished runner-up for ₹3.65 Lakhs.

The tourney gathered a player pool of 293 entrants to leave an overlay of ₹35,000. After over eight hours of uninterrupted action, the winner emerged in Ayush ‘Kyanaamrakhu’ Garg. Garg had shipped The Ballers just two days back and added ₹2.83 Lakhs to his ever-growing bankroll after defeating ‘kosmoz21’ (runner-up for ₹2.10 Lakhs) in the heads-up play. Playing on his second bullet, ‘Mahadevpoker’ locked horns with former Game Changer champion Prashanth ‘Iveyleague’ Sekar for the top honors.
