Even though the dust has settled on the excitement at the 2018 World Series of Poker (WSOP) and Team India’s spectacular performance throughout the tournament series, it does not mean that the action is over.
The online poker felts were loaded with action this past Sunday, but it was the flagship tournament on India`s most trusted poker site – PokerBaazi i.e. MoneyMaker 6.0 event with a whopping ₹1 Crore GTD that stole the show! Outlasting a crowded 609-player field at the event was Rohit ‘ChubbyGhost’ Begwani, who entered the elite club as the latest MoneyMaker champion and along with the bragging rights took home an impressive ₹29.65 Lakhs in prize money!
The other winners on PokerBaazi were Pranjal ‘lilmessi’ Gandhi, who won the BSS ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.51 Lakhs and Pratik ‘Pratikp’ Kayal, who shipped the BSS ₹1 Lakh GTD for ₹35,000.
Meanwhile, PokerStars India continues to fuel huge overlays each Sunday and once again the site`s flagship Sunday Special ₹25 Lakhs GTD failed to close out the guarantee. Making the most of the value on offer was ‘effuno007’, who pocketed ₹4.56 Lakhs for winning the event. In the other Sunday events on the site, ‘Ganjagun07’ won the Sunday Storm ₹5 Lakhs GTD and collected ₹85,029 for his efforts, while ‘7heart45’ and ‘SirRampagealot’ won the Sunday Stars ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹48,682 and Sunday Warm-up ₹1 Lakhs GTD for ₹20,652 respectively.
The Sunday Blast Series on MadOverPoker crowned six winners including Vishal ‘spartacus’ Tulsyan (Hysteria for ₹1.02 Lakhs), ‘Neverloss’ (Dynamite for ₹34,973), Kunal ‘pinguv’ Vaswani (SundayCrawler for ₹21,780), Bidya ‘Ankit420’ Shankar (Bounty Mafia PKO for ₹19,306), ‘Kalyan321’ (Boom for ₹16,349) and ‘ankit’ (MadHouse for ₹13,331).
We conclude with the scores from 9stacks where the signature Sunday Stacks was shipped by Divanshu ‘f1sh’ Khurana for ₹37,500, while all the seven players who reached the final table of the ‘Winner @ FT’ event won ₹15,000 each.
