Sunday, May 27 turned out to be another huge day for online poker tournament players who came out in huge numbers to play the week’s biggest tournaments. The most noteworthy score came from Shashank ‘Westworld’ Jain who shipped PokerBaazi’s BSS ₹15 Lakhs GTD event for ₹3.15 Lakhs. Tournament regular Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra made exploits as well and shipped the BSS ₹5 Lakhs GTD event for ₹1.23 Lakhs. The BSS ₹1 Lakh GTD event title went to Deepak ‘Peacelover’ Singh.
On PokerStars India, ‘OMGZ_ITS_RB’ emerged victorious in the Sunday Special event and collected ₹2.40 Lakhs in prize money.
Another major headline maker was consistent scorer Vishal ‘spartacus’ Tulsyan who continues to dominate the action at MadOverPoker. His most recent score includes another Hysteria title for ₹97,480. Tulsyan also achieved the target of winning three events in 1 month and was rewarded an additional ₹40,000 in bonus money by the site!
Last but not the least, over at 9stacks, Pratik ‘Lazybones’ Kumar won the Sunday Stacks for ₹35,000.
