Phew! What a rollercoaster of a Sunday it was! So many big-ticket tourneys, so many deserving champions! Where do we even begin?

Well, Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire franchise has always been the ‘apple of everyone’s eyes,’ so let’s start from there. Last night, The Millionaire Legends ₹1.5 Crores GTD returned for another successful run and this time around, the event logged in 688 entries (Day 1 – 286 and Day 1B – 402), with both flights playing out on the same day, generating a mammoth ₹1.71 Crores in prize money. Only 121 runners (Day 1A – 48, Day 1B – 73) progressed to Day 2. It was a star-studded final table with the likes of Siddharth ‘Sidddhu’ Mundada (3rd for ₹14.34 Lakhs), India’s poker superstar Aditya ‘Yennefer’ Agarwal (4th for ₹10.30 Lakhs), Uttam Kumar ‘chinunew’ Sinha (5th for ₹6.87 Lakhs) and Vaibhav ‘Nikka Zaildar’ Sharma (9th for ₹2.14 Lakhs), all gunning for the Millionaire title. In the end, it came down to a showdown between well-known reg Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi and anonymous user ‘tittooTauji’. Singhvi fought hard, but ‘tittooTauji’ had an enormous chip lead against the former and ultimately took down the title for a jaw-dropping ₹42.93 Lakhs. Singhvi took home an equally impressive ₹25.76 Lakhs. In addition to banking his best-ever online score last night, Singhvi also final tabled Adda52’s AOPS Millions ₹35 Lakhs GTD, finishing eighth for ₹94,500.

Spartan Poker`s Sunday SuperStack ₹50 Lakhs GTD, too, had an eventful run. A prize pool worth ₹55.95 Lakhs was accumulated on the back of a 1,119-strong entry field (518 unique, 205 re-entries, and 396 rebuys). Gaurav ‘VantaBlack’ Gupta topped the field and banked ₹10.59 Lakhs in first-place prize money.

Former Millionaire winner, Anuj Kumar ‘aatman108’ Kodam ran past a field of 644 entries (310 unique, 68 re-entries and 266 rebuys) in Spartan Poker’s Big Daddy ₹12 Lakhs GTD and collected the lion’s share of the ₹12.88 Lakhs worth ₹2.17 Lakhs. Vishnu ‘violator’ Khandelwal came in second for ₹1.91 Lakhs.

The flagship tourney at the PokerBaazi Monthly Value Series (PMVS) last night was the PMVS#24 Main Event SuperStack ₹40 Lakhs GTD that gathered 1,027 entries (574 unique and 453 re-entries), collecting ₹51.35 Lakhs in prize money. Siddhanth ‘ender’ Kripalani, who was recently in the news for taking down Spartan Poker’s Destiny ₹45 Lakhs GTD on April 1, was back in the thick of the action and he yet again came out on top to win ₹8.73 Lakhs. Shravan ‘FishStars’ Chhabria finished runner-up for ₹6.12 Lakhs.

The PMVS#22 The Monster ₹10 Lakhs GTD also pulled in a packed field of 412 entries (227 unique and 185 re-entries), resulting in a ₹12.36 Lakhs prize pool. Seasoned MTT pro and another former Millionaire Sreekanth ‘n0thing’ Narayan beat out the competition to win ₹2.59 Lakhs, after besting Rohit ‘Kudos0505’ Behal (runner-up for ₹1.81 Lakhs) heads-up.

Adda52’s Mega Suits Finale ₹60 Lakhs GTD logged in 1,743 entries across its three starting flights, creating a massive prize pool worth ₹87.15 Lakhs. It was Arunkumar ‘arunk8186’ Anandan who defeated Niharika ‘Nixiepixie’ Bindra in the heads-up finale to walk away with ₹15.74 Lakhs in prize money. Bindra collected ₹9.90 Lakhs for her runner-up finish.

The AOPS Millions ₹35 Lakhs GTD clocked in 420 entries (245 unique and 175 re-entries) and collected ₹42 Lakhs in the prize pool kitty. WSOP star and Young Gun Abhinav ‘checkshove’ Iyer championed the tourney for a ₹7.60 Lakhs payday, after striking a three-way deal with Nishant ‘dojingbullets’ Sharma (runner-up for ₹7.27 Lakhs) and Sriharsha ‘ivey2’ Doddapaneni (3rd for ₹6.24 Lakhs).

The AOPS Big Slick ₹20 Lakhs GTD was the third big guarantee tourney that played out on Adda52 yesterday, and it attracted 1,101 entries (640 unique and 461 re-entries), posting a prize pool of ₹24.77 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja took down the event for a cool ₹5.47 Lakhs. In fact, Ahuja also shipped Adda52’s AOPS Mini PLO for ₹1.23 Lakhs.

PokerStars India’s Sunday Highroller ₹20 Lakhs GTD crowned a winner in unknown player ‘heisenber942’ who claimed the title and the top prize of ₹3.97 Lakhs. The tourney pulled in 189 participants (115 unique and 74 re-entries), falling ₹1.10 Lakhs short on the advertised guarantee.

The Sunday Special Progressive KO ₹20 Lakhs GTD fared better than the Sunday Highroller, as it accumulated a prize pool of ₹20.37 Lakhs through 415 entrants (232 unique and 183 re-entries). Hitesh ‘hiteshbhai999’ Batra was the last player standing in the fray, and he pocketed ₹3.61 Lakhs for his win. Shagun ‘Sogani22’ Jain settled for the runner-up spot and netted ₹1.73 Lakhs in the process.

Another player who deserves a special mention is Sanat Mehrotra. Even though he did not win any titles last night, however, playing under the moniker ‘mehro2511’, he posted up two massive final table scores in Adda52’s AOPS Millions (4th for ₹3.36 Lakhs) and the Mega Suits Finale (6th for ₹2.64 Lakhs), respectively.
