This past Sunday was a blockbuster one with two ₹1 Crore GTD flagships, Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire and Adda52’s Full House, playing down to a winner!
The IOPC January – The Crown third-place finisher, Yudhishter Jaswal, became the sixth player to bag two Millionaire titles, as he championed The Millionaire last night, banking ₹17.12 Lakhs for the outright victory! Rising Star Ritwik Khanna missed capturing his career-first Millionaire title, netting a personal-best ₹9.54 Lakhs for his runner-up finish. Yohan Patel rounded out the top three payouts, placing third for ₹6.66 Lakhs.
Walking away with the day’s single-largest score was Adda52’s Full House winner, Sahil Thadani, who banked a monstrous ₹18.16 Lakhs. Avinash Koneru (2nd for ₹12.76 Lakhs) and Chirag Bhardwaj (3rd for ₹8.97 Lakhs) secured podium finishes.

With the FTS 2.0 in the books, Spartan Poker immediately brought back its weekend flagship, the ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire. The ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney ran from March 19 to 21 with a starting field of 1,944 entrants, overlaying ₹2.80 Lakhs. Day 2 saw 268 players (208 unique entries) return to compete for the grand prize. The former Millionaire champion, Yudhishter ‘McFly’ Jaswal, grabbed his second Millionaire title last night, netting a whopping ₹17.12 Lakhs payday! The Delhi-based pro is a former APOS Highroller winner and was also 3rd place finisher in the IOPC Crown for ₹17.53 Lakhs along with several deep-runs in the event for a cumulative career-best score of ₹22.89 Lakhs. The Millionaire win has sent his online scorecard soaring over the ₹2 Crore-mark (₹2.08 Crores), with ₹74.03 Lakhs in net profits.
Rising Star Ritwik ‘Fisherman1997’ Khanna came close to bagging his first-ever Millionaire title but fell one spot short, settling for a runner-up payout of ₹9.54 Lakhs. The youngster now has ₹1.78 Crores in lifetime online earnings.
Yohan ‘PAPITO’ Patel (3rd for ₹6.66 Lakhs), PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer ‘bazzingaa’ Singh Chadha (4th for ₹4.82 Lakhs), Induprakash ‘Fixed Odds’ Mishra (6th for ₹3.08 Lakhs) and Guruprasad ‘DONKAKING’ Gupta (7th for ₹2.35 Lakhs) were the other notables who FT-ed The Millionaire.
The Sunday signature event on Spartan Poker, the ₹30 Lakhs GTD Sunday Superstack, ran from 8 PM to 5:08 AM. The event collected 736 contenders, falling ₹56,000 short of breaking even. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja emerged as the victor and netted the ₹5.79 Lakhs up-top, while James ‘Jomathu’ Mathews placed second for ₹3.64 Lakhs.
This is the third time Ahuja has won the Sunday Superstack title in the last nine months. In fact, the lawyer-turned-poker pro last won this event less than a month ago, on February 28. Ahuja, the #3 ranked player last year, is currently ranked #6 on the yearly charts with ₹91.59 Lakhs (₹27.28 Lakhs in profits) in annual earnings.
The ₹10 Lakhs GTD Millionaire D’Lite was the other high-value tourney that made its return on Spartan Poker this weekend. The first D’Lite edition of March and the fifth edition overall registered 3,632 runners, filling in ₹2.74 Lakhs in overlays. The ATOC Main Event runner-up Ankit ‘starnaruto’ Saurabh clinched the title for ₹1.63 Lakhs. Sandhya ‘2sdownpower’ Singh finished runner-up for ₹90,000.
The ₹7 Lakhs GTD Money Heist was taken down by Joseph ‘axone’ Rochungh Touthang for ₹1.68 Lakhs. Abhishek ‘Quant00’ Reddy Rachur placed second for ₹1.14 Lakhs. The event experienced an overlay shortfall of ₹1.07 Lakhs after registering 197 entries.
PokerStars India
The featured Sunday tourney on PokerStars India, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special – Progressive KO, logged in 241 entries, overlaying ₹2.95 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat ‘bhasm@sur1’ Arya took down the ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney for ₹3.01 Lakhs after besting the former Millionaire Lite champion Sreekanth ‘LaganaHiToHai’ Narayan (runner-up for ₹1.46 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.
Arya was in stellar form last night as he also final tabled Spartan Poker’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD Sunday Superstack (3rd for ₹2.61 Lakhs) and placed ninth in the ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire for ₹1.27 Lakhs. Arya lapped up ₹6.89 Lakhs in total winnings, improving his online tally to ₹5.14 Crores.
The ₹12 Lakhs GTD Sunday Highroller also made a grand return on Sunday. The 7:30 PM tourney gathered a guarantee-smashing, 121 entrants. After six and a half hours of play, Shashank ‘Goldfish097’ Shekhar was the last player standing, adding ₹2.64 Lakhs to his poker winnings. Ranjeet ‘Bedevilforyou’ Negi finished runner-up for ₹1.96 Lakhs.
The ₹1 Lakh GTD Sunday Supersonic was the other event, besides the Sunday Special, that awarded TLB points towards the “Star of the Month” March leaderboard race. The anonymous user ‘Ashwinip4873’ took down the event for ₹18,328, following a three-way deal with ‘PabloDEscobar’ (runner-up for ₹20,047) and ‘RageAce00’ (3rd for ₹16,095).

The Baazi Grinders Series that commenced on March 15 wrapped up proceedings last night with the ₹6 Lakhs GTD Grinders#39 Main Event finding a winner in Imdad ‘rahuljohn1983’ Ahmed.
