The third and penultimate starting flight of The Game Changer 2.0, Day 1C, logged in 1,261 entries (700 unique and 561 re-entries), taking the total field size to 3,586 entries. The tournament is now only 192 entries short of breaking its previous record.

Though this edition’s Day 1C failed to pull in more entries than last time (Day 1C of Game Changer 1.0 had attracted 1,613 entries), it still witnessed some of the biggest names in the country in action. After nearly five hours of relentless play, only 116 runners were left in the fray and leading them to Day 2 will be ‘Pokerroller’ (615,387). The Day 1C chip leader, ‘Pokerroller’ is the first player out of all the three completed flights to bag over 600K in chips.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashutosh ‘senojwod’ Balodhi (432,458) and The Game Changer 1.0 champion Prashanth ‘Iveyleague’ Sekar featured among the top 10 stacks of the day.

With the Turbo flight, Day 1D slated to commence at 8 PM later tonight, The Game Changer 2.0 is within striking distance of creating a new record!

With the race to make it to Day 2 of what will most likely go down the history books as the biggest online poker tournament in the country, Day 1C kicked off with much aplomb at 8 PM on August 23. Registering 1,261 entries (700 unique and 561 re-entries), the third starting flight was left with just 116 remaining players by the time the play wrapped up.

The previous edition’s champion, Prashanth ‘Iveyleague’ Sekar bagged the seventh biggest stack of the night. Game Changer 1.0’s third-place finisher ‘brointer’ was also seen in action and worked up a workable stack of 137,625 for Day 2.
