After deciding upon a heads-up deal, Mumbai-based pro Nishant Sharma banked ₹3.30 Lakhs for winning the Sunday Highroller ₹20 Lakhs GTD.
The Micro Series-52 Main Event ₹12 Lakhs GTD title went to Armaan ‘armaan007111’ Kochhar, who beat out ‘khazmash32’ heads-up to win ₹2.34 Lakhs.
Grospellier has been in the news a lot in the last three days, more recently, after testing positive with COVID-19. After Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, is the newest high-profile recruit at GGPoker. In a video released on April 16, GGPoker officially welcomed Elky on board. Watch the video below.

Easter Sunday was extra special for the Run It Once (RIO) Poker founder Phil Galfond who ended the final day of his first Heads-up Challenge against ‘VeniVidi1993’ in the green! Yes, Galfond, who was at one point down over €900K in the heads-up match, was able to make a dream comeback to eventually take down the challenge by the thinnest of margins, i.e., €1,472.08. The victory also won him the €100,000 side bet. Watch the replay from the final session of the challenge (Day 39) below.

Yeah, you heard it right! Phil Galfond is a machine. While many would have taken a celebratory break after a marathon first challenge, all Galfond needed were two days to move on to his second challenger.
After beating ‘VeniVidi1993’, Galfond is taking on high-stakes pro Bill Perkins. The duo will be playing $100/$200 PLO, and the challenge is to go on for 50,000 hands or till it hits a $400,000 stop-loss.
Unlike the first challenge that was hosted on Galfond`s Run It Once Poker, this one is playing out at partypoker. The match is already one session in that took place on April 15, with Perkins closing the day with a $1,561.86 lead. Watch the session below.
Bencb, who is also the CEO and the lead coach for his online training site, Raise Your Edge, came on partypoker pro Jaime Staples’ Weekly Poker Showdown this week. The legendary German pro talked about his journey into poker, his wins through the years, and plans for the future. Watch the interview below.
A host of Hollywood A-listers Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Adam Sandler, Tobey Maguire, among others, and sporting icons like NFL’s Tom Brady came together on America’s Cardroom recently for a charity poker tournament, with all the proceeds going to Feeding America. partypoker pro Jaime Staples was among the poker pros who joined the action. Staples even made it to the final two tables but was eliminated in 12th place. He later acknowledged that this was one of the most exciting online tourneys he has played. Watch the video below.

PokerStars posted two new sets of live stream videos from the European Poker Tour (EPT) as part of its EPT Retro feature.
In Part 1 of Season 4, James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton travel back to EPT Barcelona that took place in August 2007 & the EPT London September 2007.
The second part of Season 4 revisits EPT Baden (Austria) in October 2007 and EPT Bahamas from 2008.
With the country-wide lockdown in place, this is a good time as any to watch some excellent live-action to get some hands-on learning going. This is why the Day 4 action from the partypoker MILLIONS North America Main Event makes for a good watch.
