Deepankur Gupta was one of the top winners of the week – and the Sunday scorecard topper. Last Sunday, the 23-year-old traversed a 1,797-entry field in Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire to collect a cumulative ₹17.76 Lakhs. We caught up with the PokerGuru Ambassador Deepankur Gupta for a quick video interview to find out his poker story and his reactions on becoming the sixth player from PokerGuru Staking to win the weekend flagship this year.

On Thursday, Sumit Navlani invited MTT pro Anant Purohit for a dual-stream. Purohit answered fan questions while grinding the WPT Online events on Adda52.
Animesh Thakur & Nitin Rawat returned for a dual-stream session on Friday, again playing the WPT Online marquees.
Poker Life India’s Raj Shrestha Juneja-launched, “The Mindfulness Series,” has tied up with PokerBaazi. For the fourth episode, Juneja got poker pro & coach Abhishek Goindi as the guest. The discussion centered around Goindi’s poker journey thus far and the lessons he has learned on the way, along with how he approaches learning both as a student and as a teacher.
PokerStars India’s ‘Sundays With PokerStars’ live stream made a smashing return with Samay Raina hosting an entertaining poker session on his YouTube channel. The stream featured an ensemble cast, including Vidit Gujrathi, Sagar Shah, Tania Sachdev & Joel Dsouza.
Adda52 has released a promotional video featuring The Great Khali & Chote Miyan playing the ₹25 Crores GTD World Poker Tour Online India series.
India’s first-ever poker fiction “Gamble of Love” is a perfect blend of spirituality, mythology, and poker. Written by Prateek Shukla, aka Shukla Ji, the publication released the book`s trailer on Saturday.
GGPoker’s Super MILLION$ show featured the cards-up FT replay of Event #11 $10K Highroller of the WSOP Online Series. Erik Seidel shipped the event for $982,755 and his ninth career bracelet. Francisco Benitez placed runner-up for $759,418.

GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu streamed four events from the ongoing 2021 WSOP Online Series on GGPoker/Natural8 this week.
Negreanu streamed his run in Event #11: Super Millions and Event #12: Double Stack Day 2 on Sunday.
On Monday, he streamed Day 1C of Event #17: $400 PLOSSUS Bounty.
On Wednesday, he took another shot in Event #17: $400 PLOSSUS Bounty, playing Day 1D.
On Thursday, Negreanu fired a marathon three-hour-long stream on his run in Day 2 of Event #14: THE BIG 500 No-Limit Hold’em.

The big winners of the session were Jesse Sylvia ($107.5K profit), Tom Dwan (~$57K profits), and Bruno Furth (~$40K profits). Jake Daniel was stuck for almost $123K in the session, making him the biggest loser.

On August 19, players like Jason Koon and Kristen Bicknell also joined in, and another seven-hour-plus session followed. Dan Smith went home the richest with $94.8K in profits. Bicknell dropped almost $110K.
The freshly minted PokerStars Team Pro, Raise Your Edge’s “Bencb,” uploaded the highlight video from his winning run in the WSOP High Rollers: $5,250 Blade Bounty Million on Natural8! He ended up beating Samuel Vousden (runner-up for $94K) heads-up to collect $191,643!

He also discussed his progression in poker and the essential skills needed to excel in the game.
Episode 15 of “Poker After Dark” Season 12, filmed at the PokerGo Studio, brought poker fans more high stakes cash game action. The game features a minimum buy-in of $10,000 with a max buy-in of $50,000.
