The 10th IOPC edition has sent pulses racing with its monstrous prize pool guarantees and dazzling awards! Cherishing some of the USP`s of the IOPC is this retro rendition featuring an ensemble cast of poker players.
Spartan Poker launched another enthralling video featuring the “Lost Phone” of poker player Sanjay Taneja. Highlighting the upcoming IOPC, the video stars Akanksha Singh, Yuvraj Singh, IOPC Main Event-Crown champion Harshit Sanghi, former IPC Main Event champion Raj Talwar, Ujjwal Rana, and Zarwan Tumboli.
The mixed-games streamer Nikhil Segel logged in more streaming hours for PokerStars India, and his variant of choice was NLHE 6+ Short Deck.
Vikram Singh Bhati, a.k.a vikravdesipoker, streamed his cash game session on PokerStars India.
PokerLife India’s Raj Shrestha Juneja streamed his Tuesday night session playing PokerStars India’s Prime Time Grind and Adda52’s Voyager!
A sizable crew of streamers fired up the live stream for PokerBaazi this past week. Vinay B was the most prominent of them all as he took down the site`s Monday marquee, the Big Show while streaming the deep run on his YouTube channel.
Chirag Sodha could be seen playing the BSS Monster 6-Max and the APT Subscribers Freeroll on the stream on Sunday.
Gautam ‘M8a7’ Rohilla was the other Sunday night streamer for PokerBaazi and played the BSS SuperStack.
Rising Star Ritwik Khanna promoting the APT Mega Satty Series streamed his run on Day 1 of the series.
Khanna was back on Friday, streaming the APT #1 Kick-off.
Poker mom Radhika Shankar streamed her run in the APT#7 Turbo on Monday on Poker Bootcamp India`s YouTube channel.
Online streamer Shobit Bhargava put up another episode of his podcast ‘SpadesCall’ this week. His guest was well-known cash game player Aryan Chauhan, a.k.a. “PainProvider.”
In this week’s P Se Poker episode, Sanjay Taneja explained the specifics to be kept in mind while playing timed tournaments.
The High Stakes Feud between GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk had the duo meeting to play three sessions this week. So far, 28 sessions have been played with Polk ahead for $629,882.37 after 16,500 hands.
Session #26: Negreanu won his fifth consecutive session, profiting $132,648.63 after 750 hands. Polk`s overall lead was cut down to $484,073.93 after 15,250 hands.
Session #27 saw Polk breaking Negreanu’s winning streak by booking a six-figure profit worth $119,609.84 over 600 hands. The score improved Polk`s overall lead to $603,683.77 with 15,850 hands already played.
Session #28: The duo played 650 hands, and Polk came out ahead for $26,198.6 to increase his overall lead to $629,882.37 over 16,500 hands.
The other high-profile heads-up challenge between Run It Once Poker founder Phil Galfond and Chip Leader Coaching’s Chance Kornuth has completed 24,800 hands of the 35,000-hand challenge across 48 sessions. Galfond is currently ahead for $554,500. Three sessions got done this week.
In Session #46, the duo played 500 hands, with Galfond dropped $76,000 to slide down to $468,500 in overall winnings.
In Session #47, Galfond and Kornuth played 500 hands. The former profited $46,000 to increase in overall profits to $514,500.
Session #48 turned out to be another profitable one for Galfond, who came out ahead for $40,000 after 300 hands.
The cards-up replay of PokerStars’ $530 Buy-in Big Blowout (Day 3 and F.T.) had James Hartigan, Joe Stapleton, Nick Walsh, Sam Grafton, & Mario Ho calling the action. The mystery player ‘Gwolde’ shipped the tourney for $721,691.75 (heads-up deal).
Episode 31 of the Super MILLION$ Show featured the cards-up F.T. replay of GGPoker’s $2M GTD Super MILLION$. Kevin ‘Rotterdam’ van der Kooi and Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew, as always, provided expert commentary on the stream. Alex Kolonias championed the tourney to win $438.733.27.
Check out the highlights of the $1 Million GTD WPT Online Poker Open – Main Event on partypoker U.S. Network with Tony Dunst and Matt Savage commenting. There was a strong Indian connect for the rail, with Soheb Porbandarwala championing the tourney for $224,820 after defeating Balakrishna Patur in heads-up play.
