The PokerGuru Show, Ep 4 (Part 1) Ft. Muskan Sethi, Aditya Wadhwani & Abhishek Goindi

The PokerGuru Show came back with an all-new episode this week, and the guests were the old-timers of the poker circuit who can be credited for contributing to poker not just on the felts but off the felts as well. The panel consisted of well-known names like PokerStars India Team Pro Muskan Sethi, star commentator Aditya Wadhwani, and poker coach Abhishek Goindi.

Watch this free-flowing episode hosted by Aastha Sethi as they talk about the fast-changing landscape of poker content creation, their motivation to create content, and much more. The discussions stretched on so long that we had to split the episode into two parts. Watch part 1 below and keep an eye out for part 2, releasing later next week.

 

The IOPC Roundup by Nikita Luther Ft. Siddhant Kapoor & Harshit Sanghi

Spartan Poker Team Pro Nikita Luther invited Harshit Sanghi and Siddhant Kapoor for an IOPC Roundup on Saturday. Sanghi, who achieved stardom after winning the biggest-ever IOPC tourney to-date – the IOPC Main Event – The Crown – for ₹47.33 Lakhs, spoke to Kapoor and Luther about how it felt to win the record-smashing event and his future plans!

Aditya Wadhwani Talks to Former MoneyMaker Champion Sandeep Singh

With the next edition of the PPL less than a week away, poker player and host Aditya Wadhwani caught up with the last MoneyMaker champion Sandeep Singh, who talked about all that he has been up to since his stupendous win five months back. Singh reminisced about his poker journey, playing in Bangalore, among other things.

 

 

Chirag Sodha & Anujkumar Kodam Stream PokerBaazi Tourneys

PokerBaazi has been putting out a lot of MTT streams on its YouTube channel. This week again, Chirag Sodha and Anujkumar Kodam streamed their MTT sessions on Poker Baazi.

Sodha put up a stream on Wednesday playing the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Pride and the ₹3 Lakhs GTD Wednesday SuperStack.

We missed including Kodam’s stream from last Saturday in our previous report, where he finished 4th in the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Crest.

 

Indians Run Deep in WSOP Online – Sajwan Live Streams Iyer’s 4th Place Finish in Event #33 With Sapra

One of the week’s top stories was former Young Gun Abhinav Iyer’s breakout run in Event #33: $1,111 Every 1 for COVID Relief.

Iyer, who holds the distinction of being the first Indian to win a solo WSOP bracelet, was chasing his second bracelet in the event and finished an impressive fourth for $127,571.28 (~₹95.42 Lakhs). Streamer Jaideep Sajwan hooked up Sumit Sapra, who had just chopped the IOPC Main Event – The Crown three-way, to set up an online rail for Iyer.

Sajwan seems to be tracking deep runs by Indians at the series as he also had a stream going in Event #39: $1,500 NLHE as well, where India’s Ravali Krishna was on the final table. Krishna eventually finished seventh for $31,581 (~₹23.62 Lakhs) while partypoker Ambassador and BetClever founder Roberto Romanello took down the event.

 

Poker Life India’s Raj Juneja Reviews Hand History From Sunday Special PKO Victory With Prajit Gambhir

Poker Life India’s Raj Juneja put up several videos on his YouTube channel this week that you may want to check out, but we have picked this up for our roundup.

Juneja, who won the Sunday Special PKO last Sunday, was joined by the former IPC side event winner and coach Prajit Gambhir, and they discussed key hands from his tournament run. Gambhir’s insightful review makes this video a must-watch for budding players.
