In a groundbreaking initiative, PokerBaazi has teamed up with JioCinema for something special – “Poker Masterclass,” India’s first-ever poker learning reality TV series! This six-part show takes 28 players on a five-day immersive journey, packed with thrilling poker games and activities designed to sharpen their skills and amp up the entertainment.
Four renowned poker masters – Abhishek Goindi, Kanishka Samant, Vinod Megalmani, and Shravan Chhabria – lead the charge, each captaining a team of seven players. Goindi leads the “Shark Squad“, Samant heads the “Anti-Tilters,” Megalmani captains the “Pocket Rockets,” and Chhabria the “Crushers.“
In Episode 1, we saw the masters hand-pick their teams and then dive straight into masterclass sessions. It was a crash course in poker strategy, with players soaking up knowledge and preparing for the intense battles to come.
Episode 2 turned up the heat as the poker kings went head-to-head. The ladies and the Masters’ choice teams also clashed on the tables.
Things got even more interesting in Episode 3 when the masters stepped into the arena! It was a thrilling showdown as these seasoned pros put their skills on the line, trying to outsmart and outplay each other to earn valuable points for their teams.
Episode 4 was where the rubber truly met the road. All the teams faced their ultimate test together as the stakes were higher than ever, and the pressure was on.
In Episode 5, the bonds between teammates grew stronger as they faced challenges together, while the rivalries between teams intensified. Every decision and hand dealt could shake up the leaderboard, making for several suspenseful moments.
In the grand finale in Episode 6, the battle for glory reached its climax as the top team, led by their master, fought to maintain their lead, while the underdogs gave it their all for a last-minute upset.
