The PokerGuru Show came back with Season 2 this week. The guest on the season premiere was one of the Movers and Shakers of the Indian poker industry, Spartan Poker CEO Amin Rozani.
PokerGuru host Arpit Jain had a virtual chat with the industry leader, who shares his unique perspective on the poker industry pre and post the COVID-19 lockdown. An exciting conversation unfurled with Rozani highlining the technical challenges faced by Spartan Poker in 2020, the tremendous surge in online traffic during the initial phase of the lockdown, and how the pandemic affected the live poker scene.
Arpit Jain, a.k.a. ‘Chota Machhi’ got a lot of facetime this past week. He fired the OBS live stream playing PokerStars India`s ₹2 Lakhs GTD The Classic on Friday. Unfortunately, the stream was disrupted prematurely due to technical issues on Facebook (global outage).
Spartan Poker`s record-smashing Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 closed out its eventful run earlier this week. In association with Hashtag Productions, the site live-streamed eight featured final tables, setting the virtual rail on fire.
The last of these streams was the ₹2 Crores GTD FTS 2.0 Main Event final table on Monday, where Young Gun Siddharth Karia chopped the title heads-up with Avinit Bagri to win a career-best ₹32.26 Lakhs and the 18K diamond-studded Gold Medallion.
On Sunday, Pulkit Goyal came out on top in the ₹40 Lakhs GTD FTS Head Hunter to win ₹5.65 Lakhs and the Champions Medallion.
PokerStars India`s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Micro Millions Main Event played out last Sunday, i.e., March 14. The Game Changer 2.0 champion Shagun ‘Sogani22’ Jain championed the event to win ₹1.75 Lakhs.

Poker streamer Shobhit Bhargava, a.k.a. 569poker, was back streaming this week after a gap of almost three weeks. He streamed his run in the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Micro Millions Main Event.
Avid poker streamer Nikhil Segel has started streaming his MTT runs on Natural8. His week, he streamed his session playing the $2.20 entry buy-in PLO PKO on the Asia-facing site.
The “Mon Ki Baat” podcast, sponsored by 9stacks, premiered Season 3 this week. The show`s host, Karan Sawhney, had a virtual chat with Young Gun Kanchan Sharma to kick-start the new season.
Episode 40 of the Super MILLION$ Show featured the cards-up FT replay of GGPoker’s weekly flagship, the $2 Million GTD Super MILLION$. GGPoker`s Kevin ‘Rotterdam’ van der Kooi and Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew provided expert commentary on the stream.
Isaac Baron championed the tourney to win $412,449.

‘MagischeM10’ shipped the tourney for $118,769.86.
In this week`s partypoker Daily Legend Challenge, Jaime Staples came up against his partypoker teammate Monika Zukowicz a.k.a. ‘HEYMONIA,’ with both playing a bunch of tourneys to see who could win more. Staples ended up winning the challenge.
The latest episode of the Raise Your Edge (RYE) podcast had partypoker pro and poker legend Jeff Gross joining RYE founder ‘Bencb’ for a chat.
This week on the Rake Podcast, hosts Jamie Kerstetter and Ben Wilinofsky invited Veronica Brill to talk about her hosting the upcoming Poker After Dark season, her Twitter feud with Shaun. Deeb, a potential heads-up challenge against Ashely Hine, and more!
