42-year-old poker veteran Sumit Sapra hit a new career milestone on August 20, when he crossed ₹8 Crores in recorded lifetime winnings – becoming one of six players to have made the elite club. Check out his interview below.

Saturday saw the FTS 3.0 close out its first marquee event, the ₹50 Lakhs GTD FTS #2 Friday Special. Haider Madraswala championed the event for a career-best ₹9.74 Lakhs after a heads-up deal with Arunkumar Singh.

The 20th edition of PokerStars’ World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) runs from August 22 to September 15 and has 102 events with $100 million guaranteed between them.
The site has been streaming the FT’s of some of the WCOOP marquees cards-up. The first stream was the final table of Event #63-H: $10,300 Progressive KO High Roller featuring live commentary from James Hartigan, Joe Staples, and Nick Walsh.
Brazil’s Bruno “great dant” Volkmann won his third WCOOP title in the event for $331,495 (includes $211,875 in bounties).
