WSOP Online Action in the Final Week
India’s “M26GreenWood” made a sixth-place finish in the 2020 WSOP Online Event #83: $10K WSOP Super MILLION$ for $288,836 (₹2.12 Crores). The record-breaking tourney was eventually taken down by Connor Drinan for $1.42 Million. Watch the cards-up coverage of the FT replay below.

GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu live-streamed his run in the $10K WSOP Super MILLION$. The six-time bracelet champion finished 128th for $21,483.
WPT Pays Tribute to Mike Sexton
This was a sad week for the global poker community that lost one of its most iconic figures in former WPT commentator and partypoker chairman Mike Sexton.
Sexton was WPT’s voice for more than a decade and played an instrumental role in setting up partypoker. In a tribute to the legend, the WPT put up a video canvassing Sexton’s landmark years in the industry.
Sexton’s long-time colleague, WPT commentator Vince Van Patten and WPT CEO Adam Pliska shared condolences on Sexton’s demise in a video message.

RIO Legends Poker Showdown
The Run It Once (RIO) Legends Poker Showdown is down to the finals as the last two semi-final matches played out this week.
Fedor “CrownUpGuy” Holz was pitted against Pauli “Fiilismies” Ayras for two 750-hand sessions playing €50/€100 NLHE. Watch the second of these sessions below, where a losing Holz concedes even before the match could end.
The other two semi-finalists, Kevin “KRab42” Rabichow and Bjorn “AsianFlushie” Li, also played the second of their two 750-hand €50/€100 NLHE matches. Rabichow proved the last player standing.
Ayras and Rabichow have made it to the finals scheduled to start at 4 PM UTC on September 15.
