Aces Unlimited 4 Seasons of Poker concluded with the Season Finale i.e. Spring Edition which was held from 18th – 22nd January at Casino Pride (Goa). Cash game festivals at various venues in the east affected the Tournament Finale numbers significantly but the ₹200K POY was incentive enough for the top contenders to return for a shot at the top prize. Tournament Pro – Abhishek Goindi was the Champion of the series and won 2 out of the 3 events including the deep stacked Main Event but he was unable to collect enough points to oust Rahul Agrawal from the top spot who inspite of missing the finale, retained his lead on the POY Leaderboard and won the ₹200K Player of the Year prize. Aces Unlimited Co-Director – Rajeev Kanjani did make a serious bid for the POY award but missed it by a whisker (8 points) and finished 2nd on the leaderboard.

Event 3: ₹30K Freezeout (Main Event)

The highlight of the Aces Unlimited Season Finale was the 30K (Main Event) and featured 2 starting days with players getting an option to re-enter (if eliminated of Day 1). 21 players joined the Main Event on Day 1A but only 9 players survived the onslaught of the deep structured tournament. Day 1B received a total of 14 registrations, which included re-entries from the previous day. Abhishek Goindi who made a re-entry on Day 1B, held the chip lead at the start of Day 2 and he did make good use of it with another impressive performance to take down the title along with the top prize of ₹400K. Tournament regular- Sumit Sapra came in 2nd but worthy of mention here is the 4th place finish by Shravan Chabbria who was the most consistent player of the series and cashed in all 3 events! Team PokerGuru Pro – Sangeeth Mohan played some great poker but got unlucky when his got cracked by Abhishek Goindi`s and the Poker phenomenon never quite recovered after this hand and soon busted.
