Event #12: HK$250K NLHE Turbo, that was dubbed ‘The Tim Adams Invitational’, at the Triton Poker High Roller Series Montenegro was initially not on the schedule but arranged at the last minute at the request of the Triton Jeju reigning champion Timothy Adams. Adams had requested the tournament organizers to host one final full deck No Limit Hold’em event before a series of short deck tournaments began. Organizers obliged and the HK$250,000 buy-in event commenced yesterday, attracting 37 entries (including 15 re-entries) that helped generate a prize pool of HK$8.972 Million.

Denmark’s Henrik Hecklen (cover image) emerged victorious after several levels of play. He bested 2018 Global Poker Index Player of the Year – Alex Foxen heads-up, capturing his first-ever Triton title, along with a winner’s paycheque of HK$3,410,000. Hecklen has had an impressive start to the year with a runner-up finish in the $100K Super High Roller at the 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). He is currently ranked fifth on the Denmark All-Time Money List with total live winnings of $3,672,603.
