The event attracted a dense field of 215 entries, creating a prize pool that ballooned to $10.75 Million. It was a gathering of poker’s aristocracy, all vying for a slice of that enormous prize. But CoinPoker ambassador Mosböck, the former soccer player turned card shark, proved he’s not just contending at the highest level – he’s re-writing the rules. He now stands shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow Austrian Matthias Eibinger in the ultra-exclusive three-time Triton champion’s circle, boasting live tournament earnings that are approaching a mind-boggling $17.70 Million.

Mosböck, who has been sharing behind-the-scenes content from Triton stops, will surely have another exciting chapter to share after this remarkable triumph. With his latest win, the former soccer player turned high-stakes crusher has proven once again that he belongs among the world’s elite poker players.
The Runner-Up: A Legend’s Ledger Grows
Coming closest to denying Mosböck this win was Bryn Kenney! Even in defeat, there’s an aura around Kenney, the man who reigns supreme atop the all-time money list. His $1,897,430 share from the deal elevates his career earnings to a stratospheric $75.90 Million-plus. He was chasing a fifth Triton title, a feat that seems almost beyond comprehension.

Santhosh Suvarna is in the House!
And then there’s Santhosh Suvarna. A name that resonates with power and ambition in the high-stakes poker world. The Dubai-based casino operator and high-roller extraordinaire is back on the scene. Suvarna, a former Triton champion and two-time WSOP bracelet winner, took 18th place in this event, banking $122,000 (that’s roughly ₹1.06 Crores at the current exchange rate for those keeping score at home).
2024 was Suvarna’s year of ascendance, a display of dominance that would make even seasoned pros breathless. Last year, he raked in an eye-watering $8.40 Million (~₹71.70 Crores) in live tournament winnings across 24 cashes, emerging as the second-biggest winner at the 2024 WSOP second only to Main Event champion Jonathan Tamayo. His incredible streak even denied Ankit Ahuja a record-extending third GPI Player of the Year (India) title!
2025 may have opened on a somewhat subdued note for him, with just one prior cash coming from the 2024 PGT $1 Million Championship. But Suvarna’s reappearance at the Triton Poker Series – a tour he openly adores – feels less like a minor note and more like a deep breath before a plunge. It has the distinct vibe of a rocket preparing for liftoff. His combined live tournament earnings after now $15.15 Million-plus (~₹132 Crores), and the number is only climbing. He doesn’t simply lead the Indian poker rankings; he is the Indian poker rankings.
The Road to Victory
This two-day tournament was no slow waltz; it was a rocket launch. Forty-two players came back for Day 2, the tension thick enough to cut with a knife. The money bubble burst with Matthias Lipp‘s departure, unleashing a torrent of eliminations.
Poker luminaries like Artur Martirosian (9th for $228,000), Kahle Burns (13th for $173,000), Paulius Plausinaitis (19th for $122,000), Alex Foxen (20th for $122,000), and Stephen Chidwick (22nd for $111,000) all tasted the money but fell short of the final table glory.
When the final eight convened, WPT champion Dylan Linde was clutching the lead, with Mosböck sitting comfortably in third. But poker, as they say, is a game of fleeting fortunes, and this final table was a symphony of shifting power.
For those who missed the live action, the entire drama of Day 2 (featured table coverage), including the heart-stopping final table action, was streamed (with a slight delay) on Triton Poker’s YouTube channel. You can watch the replay below.

Final Table Recap
The final table featured some of the biggest names in poker, including four-time Triton champion Bryn Kenney, two-time Triton champion Steve O’Dwyer, Mike Watson and upcoming high roller star Brandon Wilson, among others.
The tournament paused for dinner, a brief intermission that allowed for the bounty-pulling draw for Event #7: $40K NLH Mystery Bounty. In a stroke of incredible fortune, Matas Cimbolas pulled bounties totalling over $1 Million! This windfall certainly softened the blow of his impending eighth-place finish
Cimbolas’s short stack didn’t last long. He moved all-in with , but Mosböck, holding , sent Cimbolas packing. While his eighth-place finish earned him $276,000, it was the million-dollar bounty haul that truly defined his day.
Early on, Juan Pardo doubled through Kenney with aces against jacks, temporarily stalling Kenney’s momentum. However, the all-time money list leader quickly regained control, eliminating Michael Watson in seventh place for $377,000 before Pardo took out Brandon Wilson in sixth place with $512,000.
Dylan Linde, who had seemed impervious to pressure, became the next victim of Kenney’s relentless advance. Kenney, wielding , executed a four-bet shove against Linde’s . A queen on the flop sealed Linde’s fate, sending him to the rail in fifth place with $676,000.
Kenney then turned his sights on Steve O’Dwyer, dispatching him in fourth. O’Dwyer’s proved no match for Kenney’s , adding another $854,000 to O’Dwyer’s considerable career earnings.
Mosböck Turns the Tables
Despite Kenney’s seemingly unbreakable grip, Mosböck found a crucial second wind, doubling through Juan Pardo with pocket eights against Pardo’s . He then delivered the final blow to Pardo, eliminating him in third place with against a desperate shove with . Pardo walked away with a massive $1.055 Million, his third-largest career score.
Mosböck’s Resurrection: Five Hands of Destiny
The heads-up battle began with Bryn Kenney holding the lead with 52 BBs to Mosböck’s 35 BBs. A deal was brokered: Kenney guaranteed himself $1,897,430, while Mosböck would receive at least $1,766,570, with $70,000 and the trophy still in play.
Then came the five hands that will be etched in Triton history. Mosböck didn’t just win; he staged a coup!
On just the second hand of their match, Mosböck masterfully extracted maximum value with against Kenney’s , who called a sizable river bet with bottom pair.
Next, he flopped trip jacks, again leaving Kenney to pay him off, leaving him on the ropes with just 10 BBs. Finally, clutching , he coolly called Kenney’s all-in with . The board remained a blank canvas for Kenney, and Mosböck’s stunning, rapid-fire victory was complete.
