Usman Siddique Claims UKIPT6 London Main Event For £84,100

The UKIPT 6 played out at the iconic Hippodrome Casino in London and Usman Siddique (cover image), was the eventual champion claiming the coveted red Spade trophy and the top prize of £84,100.

It was just golden like a dream really. I ran really pure throughout the tournament. I kept expecting to get a beat somewhere along the line but it never really happened!” Siddique declared after the win.

The event had three entry flights and drew 642 total entrants, creating a prize pool of £449,400.

Siddique started the final day as chip lead and never let go until he had the title.

The first elimination at the final table was Scottish pro David Docherty, who fell at the hands of Jack Salter. Docherty made an eighth place finish for £8,731.

Norwegian Morten Halvorsen was next at seventh place, with Salter busting at sixth. Both were railed by Siddique.

An hour later Frenchman David Gassian eliminated Daniel Harwood at fifth place and Siddique then railed Warren Russell at fourth place.

Three-handed play was just a ten minute affair and Siddique busted Joe Hindry at third place for £37,310.

Heads up play saw Siddique with a monstrous stack of 14,775,000, against Gassian’s 1,450,000. The final hand came within minutes and saw Gassian go all in with last 290,000 and Siddique called with . Gassian had . The board ran out and Siddique was declared the winner. Gassian settled for a second place making £51,930.
