Veteran WSOP Dealer Joseph ‘Elvis Joe’ Levine Fatally Shot at his Las Vegas Home

Joseph “Elvis Joe” Levine (cover image), one of more popular WSOP dealers was fatally shot on Wednesday. Levine is well known on the WSOP circuit for his Elvis impersonations and cheerful personality.

According to the police report, 56-year old Levine was shot in his Las Vegas home by Marjorie “Maggie” Fiora, a 30-year old homeless women who was swimming with two of Levine`s brothers at his residence just before the incident. The report states that Fiora went inside the house completely naked and just a few minutes later a gunshot was heard.

Fiora ran away saying, “I have to kill him” to the stunned brothers who had disarmed her, according to the report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. The police found her at a nearby residence, where she had broken in and stolen a dress, according to the report.

Police found Levine with a gunshot wound to the chest when they arrived at his residence shortly after the incident. Unfortunately, Joseph was unable to survive and passed away at the University Medical Center, where he was taken for emergency medical care.

Many from the poker community extended their condolences to Levine`s family after the tragedy.
