An unscheduled day needed to be added in Event #25: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack to find a champion. The 2,577-player field helped generate a $1,352,925 prize pool and taking home the lion`s share of this kitty was Andrew Donabedian (cover image) who took away $205,605 and his first gold bracelet.

Three Indian challengers made it in the money at the event. The recent arrival in Las Vegas, Abhishek Goindi got straight to work by digging in a deep run in one of the first few events he played at the series. Goindi lost a crucial hand to Will Foster on Day 2 where his two-pair was crushed by the latter`s rivered flush. The blow was hard to recover from, and he eventually busted 52nd for $3,606 (~₹2.50 Lakhs).

Final Table Recap

Florian Fuchs had come in with the second largest stack but lost most of his stack early on eventually falling out in eighth place.

Following him next was the only bracelet holder on the final table Tom Franklin who lost the last of his chips to Corey Wright and exited in seventh place.

The eventual champion Donabedian then piled up a massive stack of chips when he took out Alexandru Ivan in sixth place.

Not long after that, Mihai Niste found himself at the receiving end of a brutal bad beat that forced him out in fifth place.

Todd Dreyer’s bracelet run came to an end in fourth place by Corey Wright.

The third-place elimination fell upon Robert Valden, who was living dangerously. He was down to three big blinds at one point but doubled up shortly to stay alive. His roller-coaster journey came to a halt in third place.

The heads-up play between Todd Dreyer and Donabedian saw the latter starting off with a considerable chip advantage, and before long he was posing with the bracelet.

On the final hand of the tournament, Dryer check-called to see the flop . Donabedian fired a bet and Dryer shoved promoting Donabedian to make the call. Dreyer said ”you got me” showing . Donabedian tabled . The turn and the river completed the rundown declaring Donabedian the champion!
