One of the best online pros from Russia, Denis Strebkov (cover image), proved to all that he is a force to be reckoned on the live felts as well after capturing his first bracelet in Event #87: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E.. Strebkov ran past Paul Tedeschi heads-up to take home the shiny WSOP bracelet along with $206,173 in prize money.
By the time the late registration period got over, the event had gathered a healthy player pool of 301 runners that generated a prize pool of $812,700 prize pool.
The top 46 places got paid and the notable names among them were Patrick Leonard (11th for $9,941), Tom Koral (13th for $8,098), Justin Liberto (24th for $5,841), Daniel Negreanu (36th for $4,734), Ismael Bojang (43rd for $4,463), and Benny Glaser (46th for $4,463).
Cole Jackson bubbled the final table, finishing 10th for $12,535.

After trading chips for almost 4 hours, Albert Shim was seen walking out of the final table in ninth place.
Next up, in a hand of Stud Hi-Lo, Andrey Zaichenko got the best out of Paul Volpe.
Jim Collopy was the next one out in seventh place.
The next elimination took almost 90 minutes coming, and Konstantin Puchkov hit the rail in sixth place followed by Andrey Zaichenko.
The four-handed play saw Brian Hastings busting in a hand of Stud Hi-Lo.
Denis Strebkov, who was so far only playing small pots, suddenly changed gears and busted Nick Guagenti in third place setting the heads-up play in motion.
Strebkov entered the heads-up play holding a comfortable chip lead, but Paul Tedeschi fought hard to get ahead. He managed to stay on top for just about 15 hands before Strebkov took it back and this time didn`t let it go till the very end.
The final hand was dealt Hold’em and saw Tedeschi opening the pot with . Strebkov made the call with and the chips went in on the flop . It was all over on the turn as Strebkov hit a flush to win the bracelet!
