WSOP 2022: Fred “staeks” Li Wins Maiden Bracelet in Online Event #11: $777 NLHE Lucky 7’s Second Chance for $159,060

The final Saturday of the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) had one online bracelet event running along the sidelines of the Main Event final table. Norwegian poker pro & popular Twitch streamer Espen Jorstad won the Main Event title, banking a life-changing $10 Million and his second bracelet of the series.

In Online Event #11: $777 NLHE Lucky 7’s Second Chance running on WSOP.com, Fred “staeks” Li (cover-image) outran the 781-entry field to collect his maiden WSOP gold bracelet and a career-best $159,059. Zach “zoks7” Okin placed runner-up for $98,290.

This win marked Fred Li’s third cash of the series (his 21st WSOP cash overall), improving his lifetime WSOP earnings to $303,250. His previous best score was the $71,500 he won through a third-place finish in Event #33: $500 NLHE Grand Finale at the WSOP Online last year.

The $777 buy-in event generated an $854,700 prize pool that paid out 167 places. A min-cash was good for $1,282.

Some notables who crossed the money include bracelet winners Sang “youngkoi” Lee (11th for $8,974), Jason “TheBigGift” Gooch (13th for $7,094), and the four-time bracelet winner David “dpeters17” Peters (15th for $7,094).

Vincent “Allinvin138” Moscati bubbled the final table (9th for $11,538).

Bobby “Ericartmenez” Oboodi was next on the chopping block in fourth place. Once again, pocket pairs collided, and Oboodi needed catching up to do with vs. Zach “zoks7” Okin’s , but the board ran pure.

Soon after, Michael “Mike916” Guzzardi was eliminated in a three-way all-in showdown. In another setup hand, Guzzardi shoved from the button with . Zach “zoks7” Okin moved all-in over the top, covering the table with . Fred “staeks” Li snap-called from the big blind with . The rundown gave Li a double up, and Guzzardi locked in the third-place payout.

Fred “staeks” Li (12,900,000) held a significant lead over Zach “zoks7” Okin (5,300,000) entering the heads-up play and took it down in just thirty minutes.

The deciding hand saw Zach “zoks7” Okin moving all-in with and Fred “staeks” Li called off with . Li came out on the right side of the board , making him the latest addition to the bracelet winner`s club.
