WSOP 2022: Shaun “BabyLegs” O’Donnell Wins First Bracelet in Online Event #13: $500 NLHE Summer Saver For $125,330

The final online bracelet event of the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Online Event #13: $500 NLHE Summer Saver, concluded early Monday morning on WSOP.com with Shaun “BabyLegs” O’Donnell (cover image) outlasting the 1,189-player field to win his first WSOP bracelet and $125,330. O’Donnell defeated Benjamin “Denali2020” Chung (2nd for $77,247) heads-up.

This was Shaun O’Donnell’s second cash in the 2022 WSOP, boosting his lifetime WSOP tally to $474,498. His biggest score dates back to the 2018 WSOP when he placed 60th in Event #65: $10,000 NLHE MAIN EVENT – World Championship for $129,930. He won a WSOP Circuit ring this year in March in the 2022 WSOP Circuit Super Series Event #1 – $100,000 GTD NLHE for $51,300.

The $500 buy-in MTT collected $741,600 in the prize pool and paid out 248 places.

WSOP.com user “ReadyGambo” was the last player to fall empty-handed in 248th place, assuring the remaining 247 players at least $741.60.

Several notables entered the event, and four-time bracelet winner Anthony Zinno (15th for $5,932), two-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Jesse Yaginuma (18th for $4,672), former bracelet winner Fred Li (29th for $3,041), three-time bracelet winner Shankar Pillai (58th for $1,854) were some well-known names who posted deep runs.

Adam “quiwimgngstr” Swan bubbled the FT (10th for $7,564).

Michael “mygame” Lavenburg was the first player to be eliminated on the final table in ninth place.

After that, Guy “PhilLaak” Dunlap was knocked out in eighth place. On a board, Andrew “Pokasmoka” Benedict moved all-in with and Dunlap looked him up with . The on the river was no help to Dunlap.

Soon after, Lawrence “MeldyMan” Meldman was sent packing in seventh place.

Paul “rungood27” Scaturro was the next one out in sixth place after his failed to catch up against Shaun “BabyLegs” O’Donnell’s .

The former bracelet winner Boris “GoldBracelet” Kolev crashed in fifth place. Benjamin “Denali2020” Chung three-bet jammed with and Kolev made the call with the better . Kolev had Chung dominated, but the board gave Chung a turned full house, eliminating Kolev.

Soheb “bdbeatslayer” Porbandarwala quickly followed Kolev out in fourth place, and Andrew “Pokasmoka” Benedict got eliminated third.

In the heads-up action, Benjamin “Denali2020” Chung narrowly missed out on winning the coveted WSOP bracelet after falling at the final hurdle. Chung collected $77,274 for his runner-up finish, while Shaun “BabyLegs” O’Donnell pocketed $125,330 and his first WSOP bracelet.
