Event #57: $150 GGMasters WSOP Edition of the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series was one of three events awarding bracelets on Sunday. The event registered a large field of 9,835 runners and took almost 15 hours to close. The massive interest helped collected $1,357,230 in the prize pool, and the top 1,232 places got paid.
Anatoly “Pohitrusha” Suvarov (cover image) powered his way through the vast field to win his first bracelet and a career-best $183,526! Before this win, Suvarov had $178,947 in lifetime earnings and more than doubled that count with this score!
Enroute the top, Suvarov had to face David “Duvidl18” Edelstein in the heads-up play that lasted almost an hour. Edelstein eventually took the runner-up spot for $127,872.
Among the prominent names who made it in the money list were GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu, Francesco “beninonline” Candelari, Galen Hall, Davidi Kitai, and Jorge “bemjogadogg” Abreu.

William “OveyGG” Overmire was seventh in chips at the start of the final table but still fell first in ninth place. The next elimination occurred 40 minutes later, and it was Andre “grohnaldo” Grohnert who took the hit.
Adam “4bbVirtuoso” Cader and Hector “mendekua” Caldero were the next ones out.
The elimination spree continued as within minutes, Jean-Francois “Jhope514” Alexandre got knocked out in fifth place. Amine “Barbe-N0ire” Hamza was quick to join him in fourth place.
The three-handed play brought some reprieve from the fast string of eliminations. The game dragged on for some time before Tom “Matrix1973” Hoseth’s pocket nines lost the race to Anatoly “Pohitrusha” Suvarov’s , setting up the heads-up play.
The heads-up had Anatoly “Pohitrusha” Suvarov starting out with 54.20 Million against David “Duvidl18” Edelstein `s 44.14 Million. The back and forth of chips went on for well over an hour, and eventually, Suvarov came out on top.
On the last hand dealt in the tourney, Edelstein opened with and Suvarov 3-bet with pocket tens. Edelstein 4-bet jammed and Suvarov called. The board ran getting Suvarov the bracelet and $183,526 in prize money!
