The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online awarded its latest bracelet in Event #68: $500 Deepstack. The tournament logged in 2,315 runners that helped collect $1,099,625 in the prize pool. At the end of a 13-hour-long run, Hong Kong’s Yan Shing Anson “Tara@0z” Tsang (cover image) came out on top to win his second career bracelet, $150,460 up-top cash prize and a WSOP Europe package.
An accomplished player on the Asian poker circuit, Tsang won his first bracelet in 2018 and has almost three-dozen other WSOP live scores in Las Vegas. Known more for his prowess in PLO games, Tsang had only two days ago finished 12th in Event #67: $500 Limit Hold ’em.
Tsang reared his head among the chip leaders once the field whittled down to 50 players. By the time the final table was formed, Tsang had consolidated his position as the chip leader. He went on a rampage thereon, eliminating four players on the final table to eventually meet Bangladesh’s Mohaiman “Ironman3000” Ashrafree in the heads-up play. In well under an hour, Tsang busted his opponent to win the title.
At least 10 Indian players finished in the money with “wahmodijiwah” (12th for $8,344 – ₹6.25 Lakhs) running the deepest.
Other Indians who posted scores include “Umeshbhai” (35th for $3,101 – ₹2.32 Lakhs), “bhishm” (46th for $2,230 – ₹1.67 Lakhs), “inonhmeansfu” (67th for $2,230 – ₹1.67 Lakhs), “bapu” (93rd for $1,645 – ₹1.23 Lakhs), “bemyfriend” (98th for $1,645 – ₹1.23 Lakhs), Event #64 winner “Mandovi” (116th for $1,475 – ₹1.10 Lakhs), “rung00se” (171st for $1,323 – ₹99,131), “fifa20” (217th for $1,187 – ₹88,941), and “JacKKingOff” (241st for $1,187 – ₹88,941).
Samuel Vousden (26th for $4,313), Daniel Dvoress (56th for $2,230), Dominik Panka (106th for $1,645), Simon Lofberg (191st for $1,323), Scott Margereson (223rd for $1,187) and GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu (320th for $1,065) were the international superstars on the ITM list.
The tournament paid out at least $1,064.76 to the top 332 finishers.
Yohwan “MicroControl” Lim (10th for $5,999) was eliminated on the final table bubble.
The nine-handed final table saw players from eight different countries coming together.

Tsang knocked Eder “BlueMoon” Campana out first on the final table in ninth place.
With Nobuaki “Sasa JHR” Sasaki and Marc “Face-O” Carola hitting the rail next, Tsang scalped Malcolm “HappyWhale” Trayner in sixth place.
It took another 50 minutes for the final table to shrink to the heads-up between Tsang and Mohaiman “Ironman3000” Ashrafee.
Tsang was way ahead of Ashrafee at the start of their heads-up showdown, and it all fell into place for the former within forty minutes. The final hand saw Ashrafee’s pitted against Tsang’s . Tsang hit a broadway straight on the runout to win his second career bracelet.
