The ongoing 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Series has crowned a dozen winners by now and the latest event to hand out a WSOP bracelet was Event #12: $500 The BIG 500 NLH. The tournament attracted 2,427 runners (1,624 unique and 803 rebuys), making for a $1.092 Million prize pool. After more than 12 hours of intense battle, it was YouTube poker vlogger Ryan ‘joeyisamush’ Depaulo (cover image), who fulfilled his long-cherished dream of winning a WSOP bracelet.
Depaulo, who boasts a career-best live score of $208,643 from his third-place finish in the 2019 WSOP $400 Colossus, had entered the final table as the chip leader. Riding high all the way through, he dispatched five of his final table rivals to the rail before eliminating his heads-up opponent, Britain’s Jack ‘EarlGrey’ Salter, to clinch the bracelet victory and the $159,563.11 cash prize!
Interestingly, Depaulo, who was banned for life from the Borgata casino last September for filming, is quite active on Twitter. Looking at his recent posts, it’s clear that he’s been playing the series from his car parked in various places in New Jersey. As he began FT play for Event #12, he even shared an image of his computer screen on Twitter, sharing subsequently that he was playing from inside his car parked out of Whole Foods.

Final Table Recap
It took almost 30 minutes for the first elimination to come through. The two shortest stacks ‘Givmeaction’ and Dominic ‘rgdoc’ Ricciardi predictably made their way out first, in ninth and eighth place, respectively.
Over the next 30 minutes, Depaulo, responsible for eliminating Ricciardi, dispatched two more players – Shannon ‘Aulophobia’ Shorr in seventh and Terry ‘mrterry007’ Fleischer in sixth place.
Consolidating his lead further, the eventual champion sent ‘Jessyboo’ packing in fifth place with his king-eight flopping two-pair to dominate the latter’s ace-queen.
Depaulo claimed his fifth victim on the final table after getting lucky with ace-eight against Hayden ‘luckbox89’ Fortini’s ace-king. An eight on the flop won Depaulo the pot. Fortini took home a fourth-place payout.
The play slowed down for some time before Jack ‘EarlGrey’ Salter jammed from the small blind. The big blind Sean ‘FilthyDiaper’ Ruane defended by putting his entire 9.889 Million in the middle.

Salter won the flip as the [h] runout kept his pocket pair ahead, ending Ruane’s run in third place.
The heads-up saw Jack ‘EarlGrey’ Salter starting out with 20 Million, behind Depaulo’s 26.5 Million. Salter scored a massive double, and it looked like he would walk away with the title, but Depaulo clawed his way back in the game.
Finally, it was Salter’s pitted against Depaulo’s . The board brought no succor for Salter, awarding Depaulo the gold bracelet!
