Team India added another FT finish to its tally at the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online hours ago with Indian player “Iwanashipit” placing third in Event #75: $300 Double Stack NLH for $72,204 (~₹52.80 Lakhs). Norway’s Trygve “FullSendWig” Leite came out on top of the 3,552-entries to win his first gold bracelet, $130,100, and a WSOP Europe package. Italy’s Emanuele “BudSpencer” Monari finished runner-up for $101,292.
The event generated a juicy $991,008 prize pool, and 440 players finished in the money.
At least 20 Indian players featured on the payouts list. Meanwhile, the $25 Million GTD Event #77: $5,000 NLHE Main Event ran two more starting flights yesterday – both registering smashing turnouts. Day 1U logged in 506 entries, and 101 runners made it across to Day 2. Day 1V did even better as it brought in the biggest starting field yet at the tourney with 760 runners. Only 155 among them carried forward a stack to Day 2. With 5,000 entries required to break-even, the tourney has defied the odds by registering 4,944 entrants already with one flight still to go. So far, 938 players have confirmed a berth for Day 2.

Connor Drinan hit the rail first on the FT when his pocket fives got trampled by Trygve “FullSendWig” Leite’s pocket aces.
Within 10 minutes, David “Stoic123” Mitchell was sent packing after his lost the race to Eliyahu “yaldon” Elyshiv’s pocket eights that flopped a set.
Next up, Jiahuan “brahms” He jammed with pocket treys, and Leite looked him up with pocket fives. The better pair held on, and that resulted in He falling out in seventh place.
Paul “Pistolero99” Lozano, Gregory “C0bb” Ronaldson, and Eliyahu “yaldon” Elyshiv were the next ones to fall in the sixth, fifth and fourth place, respectively.
