Canada’s Jase “RetiredFedor” Regina (cover image) overcame a 1,594-entry field to win Event #30: $525 WSOP Beat the Pros [Freezeout] of the 2021 WSOP Online Series for his first gold bracelet and a $75,342 (includes $42,486 in bounties) payday. Stefan “Stiopata” Atanasov placed runner-up for $42,443 (includes $9,667 in bounties).

Jase Regina is a 35-year-old poker pro from Toronto, Ontario, who specializes in online MTTs, with his Hendon Mob profile reflecting only $13,524 in live tournament earnings.

The $525 entry buy-in event logged in 1,594 participants to collect a $797,000 prize pool. The top 224 places min-cashed at least $719.

Day 2 began with 19 players in contention. The 2020 WSOP Online Main Event champion Stoyan Madanzhiev (6,696,718), William Wolf (6,413,771), and Sebastian “flashlight99” Mueller (3,454,581) held the top stacks heading into the final day’s play.
