WSOP Online 2021: David ‘dpeters17’ Peters Wins His Third Bracelet in Event #25: $7,777 NLHE Lucky 7’s High Roller For $283,940

3The 2021 WSOP Online Series has already run through 26 out of its 33-event schedule on WSOP.com. One of the most recent tournaments to crown a champion was Event #25: $7,777 NLHE Lucky 7’s High Roller. The 34-year old American poker pro David ‘dpeters17’ Peters (cover image) topped the 151-entry field in the event to land his third WSOP bracelet and the whopping $283,940 payday that came with it.

A former WSOP Circuit ring winner, David Peters was a consistent winner in last month’s PokerGO Championships. Persisting with his impeccable form, Peters won the first WSOP online event he played at the ongoing series. According to Hendon Mob, Peters is ranked #7 on the all-time money list with a whopping $34.80 Million in live earnings. This win fetched him his third WSOP bracelet.

The costliest event on the WSOP.com-leg of the schedule, the $7,777 entry buy-in event, collected a massive $1,113,927 prize pool and assured the top 36 places a min-cash of $7,797.

Anthony ‘Nowb3Athat’ Spinella bubbled the tournament in 37th place.

Indo-American Ankush ‘Rickrosstheb’ Mandavia (10th for $15,484), Dylan ‘TheSmith’ Smith (12th for $15,484), Jesse ‘Patient0’ Yaginuma (13th for $12,587), Jeremy ‘Chipchecka’ Ausmus (26th for $89,111), and Arkadiy ‘Crocofantos’ Tsinis (31st for $7,797) were among the known names who crossed the money line.

The elimination of Christopher ‘beturaise’ Brewer in ninth place set the final table in motion.

The eventual winner David ‘dpeters17’ Peters (1,013,030), held the chip lead going into the final table. Bracelet winner Galen ‘turkmalloy’ Hall (677,242) and ‘CherryHillPd’ (498,994) held the other top stacks.

The user ‘CherryHillPd’ subsequently eliminated Joseph ‘GLOOTIE’ Demestrio. The latter open-shoved from under the gun, and ‘CherryHillPd’ called off with the from the big blind. The board gave ‘CherryHillPd’ two pairs, eliminating Demestrio in fifth place.

Brandon ‘DrOctagon’ Adams’ chase for the second bracelet ended in fourth place, and he fell to none other than the two-time bracelet winner David ‘dpeters17’ Peters.
