WSOP Online 2021: Ryan Hagerty Wins Career-First Bracelet in Event #23: $500 NLH For $67,207

Improving on his fifth-place finish in Event #22, Ryan “hagzzz021” Hagerty (cover image) outran the 694-entry field in Event #23: $500 NLH Turbo at the WSOP.com-leg of the WSOP Online Series to win his first bracelet and $67,207 in prize money. Richard “Na_Cho_Cheez” Liotta placed runner-up for $41,630.

Ryan has been on a breakout run for almost a month, and some of his most recent exploits include winning the WSOPC Super Series Event #7: $75,000 GTD NLH 6-Max for his first WSOP Circuit ring and $22,925.

Event #23 registered 457 unique entrants who made an additional 237 re-entries to collect $312,300 in the prize pool, and the top 90 places made it in the money.

Some other notables who finished ITM included Arkadiy “Crocofantos” Tsinis (11th for $3,435), Mike “Mkspresident” Shin (18th for $2,217), Event #22 third-place finisher Daniel “DNegs” Negreanu (26th for $1,843), 15-time bracelet winner Phil “Lumestackin” Hellmuth (52nd for $1,156), Bernard “Dogger9” Lee (61st for $1,062), Ryan “bitc0in” Riess (73rd for $906), and Chris “Robotbob47” Moorman (83rd for $874).

The second shortest stack of the table, Raymond “Tastemybeans” Fillipone was the first to fall in ninth place after his couldn’t get any help against the pocket tens of ”Lukaslo0413”.

In the next 10 minutes, Kyle “JackintheB0x” Miholich (8th place), “Lukaslo0413” (7th place), and “sub_zer0” (6th place) had hit the rail in quick succession.

Next up, Anthony “boom81boom” Chin open-shoved with , and Ryan “hagzzz021” Hagerty looked him up with pocket eights. With no ace on the board, Chin busted in fifth place.

A few minutes later, Calvin “projector52” Anderson decided to put his tournament life at risk by moving all-in with on the button. The big blind Russell “njpincher” Crane called with the superior . The board blanked, eliminating Anderson in fourth place.

Russell “njpincher” Crane was the first one out after the scheduled break. He three-bet shoved with pocket eights, and Richard “Na_Cho_Cheez” Liotta called off with . An ace on the river sent Crane packing in third place.

The chip lead exchanged hands several times between Ryan “hagzzz021” Hagerty and Richard “Na_Cho_Cheez” Liotta before the former took down the title. Liotta jammed his three big blind stack with and Ryan “hagzzz021” Hagerty called tabling . The board ran , declaring Hagerty the champion!
