Event #21: $600 PLO 6-Handed of the ongoing 2021 WSOP Online Series on WSOP.com witnessed a fast-paced final table that ended with Bradley Ruben (cover image) claiming his career-second WSOP gold bracelet and the $69,148 top prize.
He became the second player, after Event #16: $600 PLO8 6-Handed champion Allen Chang, to claim the coveted hardware in both the inaugural and second WSOP Online editions. He had won his first bracelet in last year’s Event #62: $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha. In fact, Ruben had cashed 11-times last year in the GGPoker-leg of the WSOP Online Series for $288,376.
Ruben had entered the Event #21 final table as one of the shorter stacks but made it to the heads-up showdown against Michael Holtz, holding a commanding chip lead. Ruben made quick work of Holtz to bag his second gold bracelet.
The 1,551-entry field in the event generated a $297,540 prize pool, and only 66 places got paid. Among the notables who made the money places included Mark “Nostradonkus” Liedtke (9th for $4,761), Jason “TheBigGift” Gooch (12th for $3,600), Andrew “WATCHGUY42” Lichtenberger (22nd for $2,261), Shannon “Aulophobia” Shorr (35th for $1,398) and bracelet winner Ari “PalmTreeB” Engel (59th for $1,131).
Indo-American Anirudh “WeLikeToPrty” Seth (7th for $6,457) bubbled the final table.

Even after starting with the third largest stack, Dylan “thedogsofwar” Wilkerson was the first player to hit the rail in sixth place.
Less than five minutes later, the start-of-the-FT chip leader, Michael “BrockLesnar” Holtz, eliminated Troy “troyrlee” Lee in fifth place.
Finishing in fourth place was three-time WSOP bracelet winner, Ben “WhyIsGamora” Yu. His ran into Bradley “drstrange7” Ruben’s . The board ran , busting Yu.
Down to three-handed play, the 2019 Global Poker India Player of the year, Alex “OrcinusOrca” Foxen pitted his against Ruben’s . The latter flopped a set, ending Foxen’s run in third place.
The heads-up between Bradley “drstrange7” Ruben (6,305,608) and Michael “BrockLesnar” Holtz (1,959,392) lasted less than 10 minutes, with Ruben coming out on top.
On the final hand, Holtz limped from the small blind, and Ruben raised it to 300,000 from the big blind. Holtz fired a 3-bet of 900,000, and Ruben called to see the flop . Both players checked through to the turn . Ruben led out for 1.8 Million, which easily covered Holtz. The latter called, putting his tournament life on the line.

Ruben had a flopped queen-high flush, and Holtz had a two pair of nines and fives. The latter needed a boat to stay alive in the tournament, but the on the river ended Holtz’s dream run in second place.
