WSOP Online Super Circuit: “ShopChop96”, ‘800-522-4700’, ‘miya111’ & ‘ChilaxChuck’ Take Down Sunday Ring Events

The 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Super Circuit has crossed the mid-way mark, and 10 out of 18 ring events have crowned champions. The latest winners to join the list were “ShopChop96”, ‘800-522-4700’, ‘miya111’ and ‘ChilaxChuck’.

The biggest winner among the lot was ‘800-522-4700,’ who outlasted Patrick ‘Babu$hka’ Leonard in the heads-up of the biggest buy-in event at the series, the $25,000 buy-in Event #8: High Roller Championship $10M Gtd. While the winner banked a life-changing $2.19 Million for their victory, Leonard also received an equally impressive $1.61 Million for his runner-up finish.

In contrast, one of the lowest buy-in events at the series, Event #9: Mini Main Event $1M Gtd, was taken down by ‘miya111’ for $278,362.

‘ChilaxChuck’ took down Event #10: PLO High Roller Championship $1M Gtd for $442,041, while “ShopChop96” won Event #7: Monster Stack $500K Gtd for $135,965.

The next WSOP ring tournament, i.e., Event #11: Deepstack Bounty Hunters $500K Gtd, will take place on May 19.

 

Event #7: Monster Stack $500K Gtd

The Monster Stack $500K Gtd collected a prize pool of $949,624 through 5,161 entries. The top 863 runners were paid.

The final table began after the elimination of ‘$aymon9’ in tenth place for $4,643.

At the final table, the play would slow down for a significant amount of time, with eight players remaining as many short stacks survived, and chips were passed around. After that lull, the eliminations came by rather swiftly.

On the final hand, ‘Jayb0y_11’s could not hold up against “ShopChop96″s which flopped a pair of aces to win him the title and top prize of $135,965.

Event #8: High Roller Championship $10M Gtd

The High Roller Championship $10M Gtd was the biggest buy-in event at the series at $25,000. It garnered 505 entries, generating a guarantee-crushing $12,372,500 prize pool.

The top 71 spots received payouts and the notables among them were ‘zluka2010’ (26th for $89,165), ‘PloFishh’ (27th for $71,632), ‘baita’ (38th for $71,632) and ‘Tim0thee’ (43rd for $71,632).

Following the elimination of ‘Golden snitch’ in tenth place for $138,154, the nine-handed final table was set up.

The tourney came to an end when Patrick ‘Babu$hka’ Leonard‘s were busted by ‘800-522-4700’s . The runout bricked for Leonard and the latter took down the title for $2,198,292.

Event #9: Mini Main Event $1M Gtd

Featuring the lowest buy-in of $92, the Mini Main Event $1M Gtd attracted 29,357 entries, creating a jaw-dropping prize pool of $2,700,844. A packed field of 4,104 runners made it to the final day, and after several hours of play, Malaysia’s ‘miya111’ was declared the champion.

The final hand saw ‘miya111’ pitting their against ‘lecimy_tutaj’s . The board favored ‘miya111,’ who flopped a set to take home $278,362 in first-place prize money,

The PLO High Roller Championship $1M Gtd clocked in 234 entries and posted a prize pool of $2,269,800. After firing two bullets, ‘ChilaxChuck’ championed the tournament for $442,041.

The final hand saw ‘ChilaxChuck’s beat out ‘BailaMorena’s on the runout . The former rivered a flush to clinch the title.
