The WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit is a 12-ring event series open only to players in Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey. Making the closure of the WSOP Circuit season, the series began on June 3 and will run up to June 14. In addition to the prized gold circuit rings, it will be awarding a guaranteed 13 spots into the Global Casino Championship.
Sounding off the trumpet was Event #1: $100,000 GTD NLH Online Finale Circuit Kick-Off that featured a $215 buy-in. The tournament attracted 886 entries that included 595 unique players and 290 rebuys. In the end, it was ‘YoungGunz21’ who captured the top spot for a $42,528 payday. The player ran past a host of reasoned regs, including Indian-origin Ankush “rickrosstheb” Mandavia and Joseph “biueberry” Cheong before he could claim the bragging rights.
Tyler ‘TIPnTimeBOMB’ Sumrall (10th for $1,949), Robert ‘bjacks’ Jackson (19th for $1,417), Don ‘blonde2020’ Himpele (27th for $708), Katie ‘Katelin’ Lindsay (55th for $478) and Brent ‘UncleRon’ Hanks (78th for $372) were some of the notables who posted scores.
The $320 buy-in Online Finale NLHE $100K GTD played out on June 4, and more details on the event are expected today.
The weekend promises to be power-packed with the $250 buy-in Online Finale NLH Turbo Deepstack, $500 buy-in Online Finale Circuit Big 500, and the $525 buy-in Online Finale Circuit Monster Stack, all on the tap these next two days.
