Storming back to the scene after over a three-week downtime since his fifth-place finish in the electrifying IPM#157 Main Event, this Delhi-based poker virtuoso turned his talents to Adda52’s ₹12.50 Lakhs GTD Maverick, determined to leave his mark once again.

Karan Radia
Karan Radia

The 8 PM flagship was an epic eight-hour poker brawl. Squaring off against a formidable lineup of 207 players (345 total entries), Radia demonstrated he was a cut above the rest. He masterfully outplayed the competition, seizing his first-ever Maverick victory and a handsome ₹2.35 Lakhs payday.

The road to victory wasn’t easy for Radia. He faced a tough heads-up battle against the “SPRINT King” himself, Pradip ‘Nit2Donk’ Ghosh. Ghosh, who made waves as a qualifier pick for Gujarat Falcons at the Pocket52 PSL Season 6, has been on a tear lately, with back-to-back wins in 1000X#23 (6-Max) and 1000X#24. He was hungry for his third crown of the month and wasn’t going down without a fight.

Adda52’s virtual tables were sizzling last night as a familiar face reemerged from the shadows to claim a stunning victory. Santosh ‘Valle’ Somanathan, who’s been keeping a relatively low profile since his last win over 5.5 months ago, returned with a vengeance, taking down the ₹5 Lakhs GTD MMA PLO Highroller (6-Max) in dominating fashion.

Fresh off a final table appearance in last week’s Godfather, Somanathan came into the PLO Highroller with a chip on his shoulder and a point to prove. Facing off against a stacked field of 159 players (277 total entries) in this 7:30 PM event, he meant business. It wasn’t just a quick blitz but a marathon battle of skill and stamina, stretching over 6.5 hours. But when the cards were down, Somanathan was the last one standing, claiming his fourth title of 2024 and ₹95,585 in prize money – his second-best score of the year and fifth-best overall.

Santosh Somanathan`s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹39.39 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #4

Hot on Kumar`s heels was none other than the annual TLB leaderboard frontrunner, Mohak ‘sparkie’ Kapoor. Fresh off his championship win with the Deccan Aces at the Pocket52 PSL Season 6, Kapoor was looking to add another title to his impressive resume. Coming off duo final table finishes the night before, this ‘Volume King,’ who recently joined the exclusive ‘₹10 Crore Club’ in tracked online winnings, finished a close second, pocketing ₹70,499. Not one to slow down, Kapoor made another three deep runs yesterday, taking his day’s total to ₹88,790.

Tuesday’s Pocket Bullets runner-up, Siddhant ‘AajNahiAana’ Singh, also showed up at the MMA PLOHighroller (6-Max) final table, finishing in a respectable fifth place for ₹28,286.

The MMA PLO Highroller (6-Max), with its ₹1,800 buy-in, may have recorded a glaring ₹84,500 shortfall on its ₹5 Lakhs guarantee, but the action was still electric. The top 44 finishers shared in the spoils, with even the min-cash being a generous ₹3,775 – more than double the buy-in! It was a night of high-stakes poker at its finest and a reminder that Adda52 is the place to be for exciting PLO action.
