Friday delivered an action-packed day of online MTTs, with the top regs locking in massive scores. The IOPC Jan 2022 – Super High Roller runner-up Shashank Shekhar topped the Friday charts after taking down Spartan Poker’s The Elite (6-Max) for ₹6.64 Lakhs, ending a seven-month-long title drought. PokerGuru Ambassador Rony Chowdhury (opted out from tracking) placed runner-up for ₹4.48 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassadors entered the weekend on a roll, with three Team Ambassadors adding to the team’s ever-growing tally of titles on Friday. Yesterday’s biggest winner from the stable was the former The Millionaire champion, Young Gun Vivek Singh, who championed Spartan Poker’s Friday High Roller (6-Max) for ₹6.13 Lakhs. A three-way chop saw Jyoti Ranjan Nayak (2nd for ₹5.91 Lakhs) and PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh (3rd for ₹5.14 Lakhs) securing podium finishes. Singh banked ₹6.29 Lakhs cumulatively, breaching the ₹5 Crores barrier in lifetime profits!

The 2022 Galactic Series Main Event champion Aditya Singh, took down his first title victory of the month in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹5.27 Lakhs. ‘Ncg99‘ came in second and banked ₹3.19 Lakhs.

The ranked #3 player of the year, PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha championed PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller for the second time for ₹4.56 Lakhs (won ₹5.09 Lakhs overall), crossing the “₹3 Crores” milestone in tracked annual winnings. Navneet Tanwar finished runner-up for ₹3.20 Lakhs (won ₹3.26 Lakhs overall).

Shrikant Sanjay Pradhan clinched his maiden title of the year last night in Spartan Poker’s Futuristic and banked ₹1.55 Lakhs – his second-biggest score on the site. ‘Grabaka_Hitman’ (2nd for ₹95,936) and Nitin Rawat (3rd for ₹68,572) secured podium finishes.

Bashir Ahmed Bhat won PokerBaazi’s Daily Value Boost yesterday for ₹1.48 Lakhs after a heads-up chop with online reg Pradip Ghosh who took home ₹1.42 Lakhs for his runner-up finish (won ₹1.71 Lakhs overall).

Kunal Yadav won the Uppercut on PokerStars India last night and banked ₹1 Lakh, netting 1.05 Lakhs collectively. Amit Ayare collected ₹62,288 in second place.

The well-known circuit reg Raghav Bansal announced his return to the virtual felts in style after taking down Adda52’s Bullzeye Kapoor for 6.25 Lakhs, making him Friday`s biggest winner. Basant Kumar Singh came second for 3.79 Lakhs.

The former Destiny winner Tanmay Benara took down Spartan Pokers WCS #80 The Elite for a career-best ₹5.49 Lakhs. He chopped the title three-way with ‘magicmountain’ (anonymity requested) (2nd for ₹5.32 Lakhs) and last night`s breakout winner Vishnu Khandelwal (3rd for ₹4.64 Lakhs).

The #2 ranked player of the year, Manish Lakhotia, added 4.17 Lakhs to his annual tally after winning PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller.

Jaideep Sajwan (opted out of our tracking) posted third-place finishes in Adda52’s Bullzeye Kapoor (₹2.75 Lakhs) and PokerStars India’s Super Highroller (₹1.61 Lakhs), banking ₹4.36 Lakhs overall.

PokerStars India`s Super Highroller played down to a heads-up deal, and ‘garima14’ won the title for ₹2.23 Lakhs. Thursday’s WCS #72 High Roller champion Deepesh Raka kept his heater going and bagged a better ₹2.59 Lakhs in second place.

‘Indianthug’ (anonymity requested) went on a scorching run on Spartan Poker yesterday and won two WCS titles for a collective ₹2.34 Lakhs. Their title wins include WCS #78 for ₹2.01 Lakhs and WCS #74 Multi-Entry for ₹32,827.

The more prominent of the two was the Sixth Sense that logged in 249 entries to fall just one entry short of its listed guarantee. The 7.30 PM tourney ended at 2.37 AM after Ashit ‘Cringing’ Sharma eliminated ‘raghav1990’ (runner-up for ₹65,735) in the heads-up play to win ₹91,225.

Sharma has been on a trailblazing run this month, and the Sixth Sense victory brought him his fourth title of December, improving his online tally to ₹1.29 Crores.
